It's getting to the point now where even at 40 where most players are I average around 6 minutes waiting for a 1v1 match and an astonishing 23 minutes for a 2v2 match, At lower levels with lower population these wait times are much worse, I got so sick of it, I as many others have stopped logging in.

Takes to long to get any XP and the fights naturally with taking so long to start are rarely even close to balanced.

Time to move away from a pvp game, Your population cannot support it, And i feel no matter what you do that isn't going to change now.... I feel for ED to survive the future is PVE or a new game completely unrelated to ED.

TLDR- Band aid fix remove the npc limit, Till you have a better option.

ED is already so similar to AQW that they might as well just make it PvE. lmao...

No. then people will bot NPCs all day everyday and that's not fair for the people who NPC legitimately. Then what's the point of ranks if people can just bot all day to bypass it? And plus ranks are already stupid.

Ok, so one person is suggesting that we remove the npc limit because that's why we log on, to npc. Who still pvps? While someone else is arguing that we shouldn't remove it because people would npc all day everday and it wouldn't be fair to the people who npc'd with the 100 limit. Anyone else see a problem here? I see a win/win situation.

I remember when NPC didn't have a limit but they removed there was no EXP to be gained for people who wanted to grind for items. Then eventually due to lag and other issues they put the limit to 100 per day. What is to prevent the lag issue that originally happened the first time around from coming back if they were to remove the limit? Especially seeing as unlike before you would be getting EXP and credits instead of just credits which was what kept this process at lower but still lag causing levels?

If the problem is the length of time to find a match, they could add bots after a certain amount of time has passed. It's not like this can be abused, since waiting 60 seconds fight a bot is less efficient than farming NPCs, especially if your build isn't designed to kill them quickly. Plus, you still have a chance of playing a person, unlike farming NPCs, so it won't take away from the player pool as much as if NPCs could be challenged indefinitely.

People who queue up for 1v1s don't necessarily want to play against bots at all, which is why they choose to do the random 1v1 matchmade battles.

It's just extra trouble for them if they queue against a bot and they don't want to play against one.

I agree with the bot thing only for 2vs2 and juggernaut in case of long wait and only if the waiting people choose to. For 1 vs 1, fighting a bot is like talking to a NPC and fighting it. It wouldn't count as a 1 vs 1 PvP win, so it just doesn't make sense.
