 I been getting a few message about the game recently. Sadly I have not heard anything coming up. I will put in a request to see if they can add Thanksgiving monsters.


So I put in a check about whats going on with Oversoul. This is what I was told. The game will not be updating for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Where we not see new content and we will not see old content return.

Sorry guys theirs not much they can do with the game at this time.

That's fine, I don't think they ever even bothered to remove most of the seasonal characters from the game...

Pretty sure some of the Christmas and Thanksgiving characters are still around, I heard in the north map.

There are very few, but you can sell back some souls you buy in shops for soul gems.

Hmmm, I see. That's a shame, would like to organize my soul inventory just to make it more search-friendly.

Edit : Is the Ice Dragon still obtainable? Been grinding at "Cellar - PVE" for a while now, but have yet to see this majestic beast. And battling ice monsters, with their stuns and endless shields, is pretty tedious.

Feels like sub 1% though. Got 2 characters from level 1 to level 13 grinding for it. So that's about 300 kills. Do I need to kill all the rats first before finding it? Or is it better to find it in the Ice Cave?

Edit : Question 2 : Do fire souls do more damage against ice souls, or something to that effect?

@fxmybrute13 Try refresh farming. Also, I don't know which characters you're using but some good card customization can speed things up a lot if done correctly.

@GojetaDragon08 It is very unlikely that AE will pick up OverSoul again even if they wanted to because Nulgath has officially left the company for over a year now and is currently working on his own projects that are. . . completely different.
I do however wish that they would permanently bring back all seasonal characters, including the ones in shops. I would be willing to spend money if they did that.

While I'm doing that, and I realize this is a heavily subjective question (but it is a discussion forum), would anybody be willing to share what they believe are the best souls for each element? No soul-gem-required, legendaries (because most of them are too dang hard to obtain), or seasonals (because looks as if they might be effectively rare) please.

I have :

Neutral : Thrak
Fire : Infernal Fiend
Ice : Frost Lycan
Lightning : Volt Engineer
Earth : Ogre Trapper
Water : Water Elemental
Light : Golden Lycan
Darkness : Blood Fiend
Chaos : Infected Eye

Edit : On a side note, what seasonally-tagged souls are currently available? Judging by previous responses, it seems as if the Pirates and Turkeys are still here. Are the Griffons, Night Stalker, and Zombie Mutant still around? I would check myself, but I got a long list of stuff I want to do.

This is subjective, but here's what I think the best non-rare, non-legendary, non-soul gem characters for each element are (something may have slipped my mind since it's been a while since I played):

Neutral: Clan King
Fire: Fire Witch
Ice: Barbarian (Master)
Lightning: Volt Engineer
Earth: Minotaur
Water: Soul Wyvern
Light: Bavaria Zwei
Darkness: Lich
Chaos: Infected Eye

Not sure about the seasonals, sorry. I only hear about that if someone mentions they found something after it was removed and there's not many people reporting in to the Wiki anymore.

Anyone know what the spawn rate of Time Apprentice is? I know he's at everywhere on the map so I've done probably 500+ battles at southern lake and still nothing. Is there a better place to look? Also that Void Pirate also must be insanely hard since I haven't seen him at all yet either. . .

I think it was confirmed to be 1%. 1% to spawn and 1% to possess, so I'd recommend using a soul gem if you have one. This is probably the best place to search since it only has two characters there including him. Yeah, the pirate is also pretty difficult to find but there's only one option, so good luck!

Wow thanks for the precise answers! Time to go kill a bunch of paladins, I guess.

Edit: Found him after only 20 or so kills and captured with a soul gem. Only one more character to catch before I have all non-rare characters in at least one evolution form in the game and that is DFR female!
