As a very avid player of OverSoul back in the day (15+ level 20's and Founder), I was very disappointed to see OverSoul die slowly due to the teams lack of support and continuation for the game. However, the game had always been very simple and straight-forward and would've likely more succeeded as a APP/phone than a browser game (I don't think they were making APP's back then, but I could forsee if it was done-over today, it would be better as an APP). Even then, who knows if it would've been successful due to all of the teams APP games never becoming very popular.

Edit: Return Over. I might log in from time to time, not necessarily goodbye because I will always remember this game and may return for a similar reason in the future. Best wishes to oversoul and all its current and former players.

Still a shame we never got klunk or the archfiend character in game( the red one). those would have been fun to use

Im still a bit suprised we havent gotten the new void knight he made for AQW and his pateron, that would have been cool.
wondering if it would have been an element other then shadow?

 I wish AE would periodically add new characters to OverSoul utilising existing cards. Nulgath has so many unused characters that would make great additions.

gojeta: agreed, doubt it would be too hard for them to do that as well, was it rolith who was coding it before or did they have other people doing that?

 I just recently started playing OverSoul, and I am having a blast. I have been a fan of AE games for years, but I never gave this game a chance when it came out. I am glad I finally decided to try it. I understand that it is not finished, but out of all of the other AE games (not including AQ, DF, AQ3D, or AQW), this game has the most potential. It is a real shame that OS no longer gets updates, but I am having more fun with this than with AQ3D. One thing I love/hate about OS is the music. While the music is the best of any AE game I have ever heard, the tracks endlessly loop over and over, somewhat ruining the tracks. Anyways, I'm glad to see an online community for OverSoul!

 Yeah it's a shame, it was a great idea and I did enjoy it. At least the servers are still up for us to enjoy. Same thing happened to Warpforce.

Greetings Oversouls! The Darkness is here once again! How are all of you? Yes, the game had a tragic end... But indeed its great they cared enough to leave the server up! I've convinced two AQW players to try it out! They enjoy it greatly!

Is anyone still playing any more? I'm back from hiatus and I rarely see more than one or two players in the solace-1 lobby nowadays.

Edit: Also, any hope for a forum tournament? I don't think there have been any tournaments since the Void War (which I missed due to real life, sadly). Seems a bit sad to see no PVPing going on in a PVP-based game.

 I might be able to organize a tournament but that'll only be after a couple of months I guess, or it could be sooner, I'm not entirely sure. In the mean time, if you are not aware of it already a player and my recent friend, Patrick is organizing an OverSoul tournament. The maximum level char you can use is Level 15. He'll be giving more information regarding this next week. Here is a link to his Twitter.

Still lovin this thing. The remaining community should come together and make a tier list for the game or something, maybe we could get it posted on the forum.

Has anyone heard from The Finnish Phoenix? I really want to repay him for his generosity earlier, when he got me a gift certificate so I could catch Time Apprentice. It looks like he hasn't logged on since December though, so I'm not sure how else to reach him.

P.S. I'm into doing a tournament or tier list if anyone else is.

P.P.S. I know I gave a final farewell already, but since things are still happening here sporadically there's no point of permanently abandoning the forums.

 I'm not completely certain but in the near future (i.e. later this month) I guess I'll be able to fund quite a few OS tournaments. Perhaps a tournament could be organised then.
