Entering the Abyss
The first step to entering Tercessuinotlim is by using Bone Dust to act as a catalyst to access the portal in the Bone Room in /Citadel. Collect 50 Bone Dust from Skeleton Fighters or Skeleton Warriors in Battleunder B. Shouldn't take too long.
Go back to /citadel. Travel Right -> Center -> Right -> Right -> Right to reach a room with a swirling red portal.
Those who are less inclined to go through the cavern maze can enter a secondary portal through the houses of NNH and ENNH owners, like Irule (me), Veya, Solanace, or one of the other ~400 people who have it. Trespass into people's houses! Make some friends! Don't try this at home!
For those that want to use a private room, you can use /join tercessuinotlim-xxxxx, but only in the portal room.
If you've entered the gate, the first thing you might notice is two paths locked behind these two items:
Additionally, you may also need some or all of the following to traverse the void:

Arming Yourself
Do not forget that this is endgame content. If you do not have strong classes for farming and soloing, you will either be at a major disadvantage, or completely stonewalled from progress. Consider some of the following choices to not meet such a fate:
In addition to a strong class or two, you may also find yourself wanting a weapon that can let you kill things even faster than before.
Navigating Tercessuinotlim and extracting its rewards often requires fighting many Chaos monsters:
Additionally, as many undead monsters are required for Nulgath farming, you may need one of the following, ordered by ease of acquisition:
  • Dual Chainsaw Katanas: +25% to Human and Undead - kill 100 Horde Zombies from the endless room at /darkoviahorde to get it from your Book of Lore
  • Chainsaw Katana: +25% to Human and Undead - a low drop rate item from the /darkoviahorde boss, probably faster if you bring some friends
  • Celestial Khopesh: +35% to Undead - made from several low drop rate items from the /cruxship boss
  • The Blinding Light of Destiny: +51% to Undead - made from a long quest chain, its variants Ascended, Void, Dual are even harder to obtain (each +51% to Undead).
For anything else, equip one of the following celestial weapons to inflict 15% more damage to all monsters!
Want a very long-term goal? Upgrade to a piece of the ArchFiend DoomLord set for a helm or a cape with the same universal +15% damage bonus, as well as a +25% to XP/Gold/Rep/CP!
There are also other requirements such as a high level, some gold, or maybe even a faction or two. Refer to the the general farming guide for more details on those topics.
All this and more can be found in Tercessuinotlim, and this guide can show you how to get exactly what you want.

Public Assistants

You might be able to get all the reagents by yourself, but you can't make any progress without some help from Nulgath's... associates. The following are the widely available ones. If you see one floating around in the world, you can click on it and use its quests. If there's one in your inventory, or maybe even a shop screen, you can open the quests from there, too. Finding one when you need to turn the quest in might be a different story, though.
- denotes assistants that require Legend to acquire

Swindle Bilk
The original supplier. Has many unidentified items of questionable use, but also has almost every first generation reagent. Be very glad that you won't need to actually visit him now.
quote:

Supplies to Spin the Wheel of Chance
Requires /escherion to be unlocked, and traveling back and forth to Swindle is why people have wanted other methods. Anyway...
  • Beat Escherion, get his Helm (<25% drop), spin for items.
100% Rewards:
  • DuckStick2000
  • Unidentified 10 (Item): "Bag of Dirt"
Notable random chance drops:
  • Unidentified 13 (Quest Item): "The Contract of Nulgath"
  • Tainted Gem
  • Dark Crystal Shard
  • Diamond of Nulgath
  • Voucher of Nulgath
  • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)
The list of rewards from Supplies and The Assistant are actually quite massive, refer to their wiki pages if you want to look at a bunch of items that are only used for a few quests, if ever.
Tip: While farming Escherion, sell the drops! Staff of Inversion is worth 12,500, 1st Lord Staff is worth 6,250, 1st Lord Helm is worth 6,250, Emerald Pickaxe is worth 25,000, and more. And don't forget that both Wheel and Assistant can drop Unidentified 1, which is also worth 25,000.
quote:

The Assistant
A similar quest that eats 100k gold for about even chances at the same items as Supplies. While farming 100k gold for a single wheel spin will often be slower than hammering on Escherion, the real benefit of this quest is to convert all manner of unwanted items into drops in the bucket for another wheel spin.
  • Ownership requirement: Crag & Bamboozle 5,000
    • Buy a Blood Cloak from Yulgar at /yulgar, Klunk at /evilwarnul, or Enn'tröpy at /dreadrock
    • Kill a Legion Fenrir from one of the far rooms in /underworld or /evilwarnul for a Nulgath Rune 3
Notable exceptions to drops from Supplies include the following random low chance drops:
    • Unidentified 22 (Quest Item): "Essence of the Hex Void"
    • Unidentified 23 (Quest Item): "Essence of the Blood Void"
    • Unidentified 25 (Quest Item): "Essence of the Shadow Void"
    • 1st Betrayal Blade of Nulgath (Pet)
    • 2nd Betrayal Blade of Nulgath (Pet)
    • 3rd Betrayal Blade of Nulgath (Pet)
    • 4th Betrayal Blade of Nulgath (Pet)

  • quote:

    Swindle's Return Policy
Trades the following items for a single Dark Crystal Shard. Not really worth doing.
    • Unidentified 10 (Item): "Bag of Dirt" x10
    • Unidentified 4 (Mace): "Small Hammer"
    • Unidentified 5 (Mace): "Rounded Stone Hammer"
    • Unidentified 7 (Dagger): "Star Dagger"
    • Unidentified 8 (Dagger): "Bee Sting Dagger"
    Reward:
    • Dark Crystal Shard

    Nulgath Larvae
Has a few new resources and a few other neat things. Just find one from another player, and start the quests. Requires Legend to acquire and equip, although accessible from your inventory.
    quote:

    Nulgath
Exclusive to this pet, certain other rare/exclusive pets, and the ENNH, this quest offers a better chance at getting useful reagents. Features no junky Unidentified items, although obviously takes a bit longer to complete a single turn in. Has much better drop rates for Diamonds, member Vouchers, and some other things.
    • Get Mana Energy x1 from the Mana Golem at /elemental
    • Get Charged Mana x5 from the Mana Elemental at /gilead
    Random chance drops:
    • 5th Betrayal Blade of Nulgath (Pet)
    • 6th Betrayal Blade of Nulgath (Pet)
    • 7th Betrayal Blade of Nulgath (Pet)
    • 8th Betrayal Blade of Nulgath (Pet)
    • Bane of Nulgath
    • Dark Crystal Shard
    • Diamond of Nulgath
    • Gem of Nulgath (Misc)
    • Hex Blade of Nulgath
    • Nulgath Horns
    • Shifter Helm of Nulgath
    • Tainted Gem
    • Totem of Nulgath
    • Unidentified 13: "The Contract of Nulgath"
    • Voidfangs of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)

Tip: Mana Energy stacks to 13, Charged Mana stacks to 5. If your internet connection is good, why not get all 13 from the Golem before turning in at the Elemental?

    Sword of Nulgath
Has many ways to access. Requires Legend to acquire and equip, although accessible from your inventory. The following also grant the same quests:
8th Betrayal Blade of Nulgath (Pet)
    Battlefiend Blade of Nulgath
Blade of Revontheus the Good Pet
    Celestial Sword of Nulgath Pet
Guardian Crystal Phoenix Blade of Nulgath
    SoulSeeker Battle Pet
    Sword of Nulgath
    Tainted Phoenix Blade of Nulgath

    quote:

    Cube Reagent
Following the Dreadrock nerf, this is the prime quest for Tainted Gems. Takes a while, but is a no-nonsense source of a gem that's returned to relevance with the Void Highlord's Challenge. Don't bother with Bone Dust Reagent. Seriously.
    • Join /mountfrost to kill Snow Golems for an Ice Cube
    • Join /boxes to Sneevils, Box Guardians, Grizzlespit, Sneeviltron for Cubes x25
    Reward:
    • Tainted Gem

Tip: Ice Cubes stack to 6 while Cubes stack to 500. Turn in a full stack of Cubes for 20 Tainted Gems!
    quote:

    Essence of Defeat Reagent
It's not pretty, but every drop other than Tibicenas' Chain is 100% and at least being involved beats sitting around fighting the same monster over and over forever. The observant adventurer will recognize that these are the same things you need to travel through Tercessuinotlim. You should already know how to get these by now, other than the Tibicenas' Chain, which drops from Tibicenas at /djinn. The reward is a coinflip of Dark Crystal Shard x1 or x2.
    • Defeated Makai x50
    • Escherion's Chain x1
    • O-dokuro's Tooth x1
    • Strand of Vath's Hair x1
    • Aracara's Fang x1
    • Hydra Scale x1
    • Tibicenas' Chain x1
    Reward:
    • Dark Crystal Shard x1 OR Dark Crystal Shard x2

Tip: Blade of Revontheus the best choice because you can just access it from its shop at /brightfortress (thus not even needing an inventory space). Click the handle knob in the shop preview, and you're good to go.

    Drudgen the Assistant 5,000
A generous public source of stuff. You can even access one by visiting Nulgath and then clicking the (!) right in the shop menu! Requires Legend to acquire and equip, although accessible from your inventory. Offers two of the same quests that Swindle provides.
    quote:

Supplies to Spin the Wheel of Chance

    The Assistant
This version of The Assistant is available to everybody. Great for dumping millions of gold for chances at cool stuff, and now everybody can do it.

Tip: While doing The Assistant, the first Oversoul room (with Klunk) in either /evilwarnul or /underworld has a shop that sells Blood Cloak, open the shop, then open the quest Assistant's quest box on top of it, and turn in quickly!
    quote:

    Voucher Item: Totem of Nulgath
You need a non-mem Voucher to accept this quest, but it turns 60 Essences of Nulgath into a Totem or 10 Gems, setting the exchange rate at ~600 kills = 1 Totem or ~600 kills = 10 Gems. Boring, but a consistent way to get Totems and Gems without other pets.
  • Ownership requirement: Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)
    • Get a Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)
    • Get Essence of Nulgath x60 from Dark Makai at /tercessuinotlim or /nulgath
    Reward choice:
    • Gem of Nulgath (misc) x10
    • Totem of Nulgath

    Private Assistants

Owner-only, possibly requires Legend to equip and use. They're usually of higher value, which is a fair(?) trade-off. All non-ENNH Private Assistants need to be equipped to access their quests.
    - denotes assistants that require Legend to acquire and/or equip.

    Crag & Bamboozle 5,000
Crag isn't all that great any more, but Bamboozle has some useful quests:
    quote:

    Diamond Exchange
Turn 3 Diamonds into a Contract. With the devaluation of Diamonds, this makes it extremely easy to get Contracts for next to no cost. Contracts can be turned in for massive gold rewards via The Leery Contract, which means 3 Diamonds can be worth as much as 500k gold.
    • Get 3x Diamond of Nulgath, possibly from /evilwarnul
    • Kill a Dark Makai from /tercessuinotlim or /nulgath for a Nulgath Rune 9
    Reward:
    • Unidentified 13 (Quest Item): "The Contract of Nulgath"

Tip: If you really need gold, turning 3 Diamonds into a Contract, and then spending it in The Leery Contract (from Nulgath, a Sword of Nulgath, or the Enchanted Nulgath Nation House) gives you a boostable 100k gold, good for 1 Blood Cloak, or more.
    quote:

Supplies to Spin the Wheel of Chance
    The Assistant
    Nulgath

These are basically the same quests you've seen from Swindle or the Larvae. They're all in one place, which is kind of convenient.
Tip: While doing The Assistant, the first Oversoul room (with Klunk) in either /evilwarnul or /underworld has a shop that sells Blood Cloak, open the shop, then open the quest Assistant's quest box on top of it, and turn in quickly!
    quote:

    Bamboozle vs Drudgen
A much easier source of Escherion Helms, get the temp item from a Tainted Elemental (at /nulgath, since you have to be a Legend to use Bamboozle) and turn it into a wheel spin. Tainted Cores stack to 13, so you can do this quickly for 13 Wheel spins in a row. If for some reason you want to do The Assistant instead, converting Tainted Cores into Helms, and then selling those for 12,500 each is a decently fast way to get more gold. Tainted Souls, which are otherwise used for the Oblivion Blade of Nulgath farming pet, can be sold for 6,250 gold a pop. A full stack of 13 is basically enough for a free Blood Cloak!
    • Get a Tainted Core from a Tainted Elemental from /nulgath (stacks to 13)
    • Accept the Escherion's Helm drop
    • Turn it in for Supplies
    100% Rewards:
    • DuckStick2000
    • Unidentified 10 (Item): "Bag of Dirt"
    Notable random chance drops:
    • Unidentified 13 (Quest Item): "The Contract of Nulgath"
    • Tainted Gem
    • Dark Crystal Shard
    • Diamond of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)
The list of rewards from Supplies and The Assistant are actually quite massive, refer to their wiki pages if you want to look at a bunch of items that are only used for a few quests, if ever.

    quote:

    The Refreshing Deal
    The Poisonous Deal

Both quests require virtually the same resources, and give more Gems than Voucher Item: Totem of Nulgath if you can afford the Blood Gem cost.
    • Purified Claymore of Destiny / Tainted Claymore (Purified for Refreshing, Tainted for Poisonous)
    • Undead Plague Spear
    • Unidentified 10 (Item): "Bag of Dirt" x30
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x5
    Reward choice:
    • Gem of Nulgath (misc) x20
    • Totem of Nulgath

Tip: If you have the Beta Tester badge, you can also buy Plague Spear in the Beta Shop for a mere 5,000 gold!

    Enchanted Nulgath Nation House
A house is an assistant? Forget Alexa, the future is now, and walking to Nulgath is so last decade.
    quote:

    Nulgath (Larvae)
Supplies to Spin the Wheel of Chance
    Kiss the Void
    Cube Reagent

No more having to find other people to start a Larvae or Supplies quest, and no more having to do the Kiss the Void warm-up.

Swindle Bilk's To Go Hut 2,000
All 3 quests that Swindle offers, except only accessible for the owner. Not much more to talk about, although at least it makes Return Policy require 6 instead of 12 inventory spaces.
    quote:

Supplies to Spin the Wheel of Chance
    Swindle's Return Policy
    The Assistant

    Tendurrr the Assistant
Tendurrr doesn't do much unless you have Drudgen, Crag, or the rare The Secret 2 (from Oblivion Blade or Blood Orb), but if you already have those pets, this is a big bonus.
    quote:

    Nulgath's Messenger
A costly quest that grants you 1 of 4 weird rewards. Probably not worth doing until you have literally everything else.
  • Ownership requirement: Unidentified 13: The Contract of Nulgath
    • Nulgath's Approval x500
    • Archfiend's Favor x500
    • Essence of Nulgath x20
    • Gem of Nulgath (Misc) x30
    • Dark Crystal Shard x30
    • Tainted Gem x30
    • Diamond of Nulgath x30
    • Voucher of Nulgath x1
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x10
    • Totem of Nulgath x3
    Reward:
    • Unidentified 10 x5
    Choice of one of:
    • Tendurrr on your Back
    • Asuka's Flaming Stick
    • Tendurrr's Flaming Stick
    • Tendurrr Morph

  • quote:

    The Game of Gemstones
A gold quest that is (unfortunately still) overshadowed by The Leery Contract. Maybe the reagents will be used again in the future, but as of now, they just go into a quest for fat stacks of gold.
  • Ownership requirement: Unidentified 13: The Contract of Nulgath
    • Nulgath's Approval x1
    • Archfiend's Amber x1 - Mega Tyndarius at /lavarun
    • Phantasmia's Charoite x1 - Dr. De'Sawed (2) at /catacombs
    • Yoshino's Citrine x1 - Team A Captain / Team B Captain at /bludrutbrawl
    • Tendou's Moonstone x1 - Wolfwing at /wolfwing
    • Asuka's Ruby x1 - Hero at /baconcatyou
    Reward:
    • 200,000 gold (boostable)

  • quote:

    Assisting Drudgen
Effectively a daily quest that lets you "force" a non-mem Voucher to drop by having every other item maxed out. Quite resource-intensive, but if you don't like chance, this (and the following quests) can do you a big favor. Requires ownership of Drudgen the Assistant as well as the Twin Blade of Nulgath, which you can get from Drudgen for a non-mem Voucher.
  • Ownership requirement: Twin Blade of Nulgath
  • Ownership requirement: Drudgen the Assistant 5,000
    • The Secret 1 x1
    • Essence of Nulgath x20
    • Nulgath's Approval x50
    • Archfiend's Favor x50
    • Cubes x50
    • Fiend Seal x10
    • Seal of Light x1
    Reward:
    • Unidentified 10 x5
    Random guaranteed reward:
    • Tainted Gem x2
    • Gem of Nulgath (Misc) x2
    • Fiend Token x10
    • Dark Crystal Shard x2
    • Diamond of Nulgath x2
    • Totem of Nulgath x1
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x2
    • Voucher of Nulgath x1
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non mem) x1

  • quote:

    Assisting Crag and Bamboozle
Slightly more expensive than the Drudgen quest, but requires fewer resources to max out to force a Voucher. Also rewards your choice of 500k gold, 20 Tainted Gems, 10 Gems, 10 Dark Crystal Shards, or 20 Diamonds. What you want to do is accept all 4 of the Shadowblast quests, and so by the time you have a Nation Round 4 medal, you'll also have most of the requirements for Round 1, 2, and 3 medals. Do this and you can ease the process for the next time you have to do this quest. For even more passive rewards, don't forget to also accept the Emblem quest. You're guaranteed to get at least 1 Emblem per day, which really adds up if they're ever needed again.
  • Ownership requirement: Crag & Bamboozle 5,000
    • Essence of Nulgath x20
    • Nulgath's Approval x100
    • Archfiend's Favor x100
    • Nation Round 4 Medal x1
    • Sparrow's Blood x1
    Reward:
    • Nulgath Larvae
    Choice reward:
    • Sword of Nulgath (worth 500k in sellback)
    • Tainted Gem x20
    • Gem of Nulgath (Misc) x10
    • Dark Crystal Shard x10
    • Diamond of Nulgath x20
    Random guaranteed reward:
    • Totem of Nulgath x2
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x2
    • Unidentified 19
    • Elders' Blood
    • Voucher of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non mem)

  • quote:

    Assisting Oblivion Blade
200 Bone Dust is a heavy cost, but considering how that is "worth" 8 Tainted Gems, what you can get instead seems like a steal. Unlike the previous 2 quests, is not limited by day, while 5 Totems or Blood Gems is a massive reward.
  • Ownership requirement: The Secret 2
    • The Secret 4 x1
    • Essence of Nulgath x20
    • Nulgath's Approval x50
    • Archfiend's Favor x50
    • Cubes x50
    • Fiend Seal x10
    • Bone Dust x200
    Random guaranteed reward:
    • Tainted Gem x5
    • Gem of Nulgath (Misc) x5
    • Dark Crystal Shard x5
    • Diamond of Nulgath x5
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x5
    • Totem of Nulgath x5
    • Unidentified 19
    • Voucher of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non mem)

  • Gem of Nulgath
Kind of tough to get because the Receipt of Nulgath is a low drop item, although the method to getting it has gotten a bit better since before. The number-one source of Gems of Nulgath and potentially other things. A potentially interesting Nulgath reagent pet.

    Rare Assistants

If you have one, you're in luck. If you don't, well, sorry. They're not available any more. Maybe a similar thing will be available in the future. All are owner-only unless specified.
    - denotes assistants that required Legend to acquire and/or equip

    Prime Bloodletter of Nulgath 2,000
This was probably released back when Diamonds were valuable. Sadly, that is no longer the case.
    quote:

    Let the Blood Flow
This is not a good quest. It might have been good before, but a Voucher and a Totem for some Diamonds or a Contract? It gives 300k gold, but that's not even good any more. No thanks.
    • Shadow Cowl x1
    • Unidentified 28 (Dagger): "Spinal Tap"
    • Voucher of Nulgath x1
    • Totem of Nulgath x1
    • Nulgath Rune 1 - Undead Legend
    • Nulgath Rune 5 - Undead Bruiser
    • Nulgath Rune 10 - Shadowstone Support
    Random reward:
    • Unidentified 13 (Quest Item): "The Contract of Nulgath"
    • Diamond of Nulgath x1
    • Diamond of Nulgath x3
    • Diamond of Nulgath x5
    • Unchained Loyalty

    Nulgath Challenge Pet 1,000
A decent daily for Blood Gems, but not much else. Still better than nothing, though.
    quote:

    Tenacity Challenge
A mere 13 kills to get a Blood Gem. Completely destroys Kiss the Void, or it would, if it wasn't a daily. Although let's be realistic, how many times will you actually do KtV per day?
    • Dark Runes x6 - Ghastly Darkblood from /deathpits
    • Blood Runes x7 - Bloodfiend from /evilwardage or /underworld
    Reward:
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x1

    quote:

    Contender Challenge
You need a quest unlocker from Oblivion that costs 5 Blood Gems, but that should be easy with the Tenacity quest. This quest offers some Diamonds or maybe a Contract for a few big kills. Flashy!
    • Blood Titan Head x1 - Blood Titan from /bloodtitan
    • Desterrat Moya Tentacle x1 - Desterrat Moya from /banished
    • Dragon Heart x1 - Baby Trigoras from /trigoras or Ssikari from /firestorm
    Random reward:
    • Diamond of Nulgath x1
    • Diamond of Nulgath x2
    • Diamond of Nulgath x3
    • Unidentified 13: "The Contract of Nulgath" x1
    • Ultra Bloodbeacon Polearm +10

Oblivion Blade of Nulgath / Oblivion Blade of Nulgath (rare)
An old pet that was later removed, offers some exclusive items and the Nulgath Larvae quest. Not much to see here, although it does give you access to one of Tendurrr the Assistant's useful quests.
    quote:

    Nulgath (Larvae quest)
The Marks (relevant for Assisting Oblivion Blade)

    quote:

    The Dark Deal
Essentially a second copy of the Bamboozle vs Drudgen quest, lets you turn those Tainted Souls you get from Tainted Elemental into Escherion's Helms. Heroes with Crag and this are effectively functioning at double efficiency.
    • Get a Tainted Soul from a Tainted Elemental from /nulgath (stacks to 13)
    • Accept the Escherion's Helm drop
    • Turn it in for Supplies
    100% Rewards:
    • DuckStick2000
    • Unidentified 10 (Item): "Bag of Dirt"
    Notable random chance drops:
    • Unidentified 13 (Quest Item): "The Contract of Nulgath"
    • Tainted Gem
    • Dark Crystal Shard
    • Diamond of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)
The list of rewards from Supplies and The Assistant are actually quite massive, refer to their wiki pages if you want to look at a bunch of items that are only used for a few quests, if ever.

Astral Orb Pet / Crimson Orb Pet 1,500
Two of the most powerful Nulgath farming pets ever made, these are like the Nulgath Larvae on steroids.
    quote:

    Astral Hanzo Orb Quest
It drops every reagent, and has reasonable rates for those drops. It's so great, they had to release a red version to contain all of its awesomeness.
    • Jacked Eye x5 - Big Jack Sprat in /graveyard
    • Dreadspider Silk x1 - Dreadspider in /marsh or /twilight
    • Makai Fang x5 - Dark Makai in /tercessuinotlim or /nulgath
    • Rattle Bones x3 - Rattlebones in /bludrut
    Rewards:
    • Dark Crystal Shard x1
    • Diamond of Nulgath x1
    Random chance drops:
    • Unidentified 13: "The Contract of Nulgath" x1
    • Tainted Gem x1
    • Voucher of Nulgath x1
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
    • Totem of Nulgath x1
    • Gem of Nulgath x1
    • Fiend Token x1
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x1
    • Astral Star Blade

    quote:

    Crimson Hanzo Orb Quest

    • Jacked Eye x5 - Big Jack Sprat in /graveyard
    • Dreadspider Silk x1 - Dreadspider in /marsh or /twilight
    • Makai Fang x5 - Dark Makai in /tercessuinotlim or /nulgath
    • Rattle Bones x3 - Rattlebones in /bludrut
    Rewards:
    • Dark Crystal Shard x1
    • Diamond of Nulgath x1
    Random chance drops:
    • Unidentified 13: "The Contract of Nulgath" x1
    • Tainted Gem x1
    • Voucher of Nulgath x1
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
    • Totem of Nulgath x1
    • Gem of Nulgath x1
    • Fiend Token x1
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x1
    • Blood Star Blade

Tip: Given how walking to Dreadspider and Sprat can be tedious, consider doing a quest loop that goes Big Jack Sprat -> Dreadspider -> Rattlebones -> Dark Makai, completes a turn-in while in Tercess, and then stays in Tercess to get Dark Makai -> Dreadspider -> Rattlebones -> Big Jack Sprat. If you have an alt or two, you can even put them on Sprat and Dreadspider's screens for even faster movement.

    Ceremonial Void Knight Sword 1,500
A modified version of the Orb pets, this assistant has allegedly different drop rates for its items, although how different is still a matter of mystery.
    quote:

    Void Knight Sword Quest
A little more tedious than the Orbs, but still provides what the other Assistants could only dream of giving.
    • Slugfit Horn x5 - Slugfit in /mobius
    • Aracara Silk x1 - Aracara in /faerie - quickly access by talking to Dew Drop in /mobius
    • Makai Fang x5 - Dark Makai in /tercessuinotlim or /nulgath
    • Imp Flame x3 - Fire Imp in /hydra, /mobius, or /relativity
    • Aquamarine of Nulgath x3 - Crystallized Jellyfish in /battleunderc - quickly access by moving up one screen from /battleundere
    Rewards:
    • Dark Crystal Shard x1
    • Diamond of Nulgath x1
    Random chance drops:
    • Unidentified 13: "The Contract of Nulgath" x1
    • Tainted Gem x1
    • Voucher of Nulgath x1
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
    • Totem of Nulgath x1
    • Gem of Nulgath x1
    • Fiend Token x1
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x1

Tip: Given how walking to Aracara and Crystallized Jellyfish can be tedious, consider doing a quest loop that goes Jellyfish -> Aracara -> Fire Imp -> Slugfit -> Dark Makai, completes a turn-in while in Tercess, and then stays in Tercess to get Dark Makai -> Fire Imp -> Slugfit -> Aracara -> Jellyfish. If you have an alt or two, you can even put them on Jellyfish and Aracara's screens for even faster movement.
Tip 2: Aquamarines stack to 27, so you can get 9 turn ins' worth of Aquamarines without having to go back to BattleunderC.

    Bounty Hunter Blade Pet 2,000
A pet that offers some other stuff, including a guaranteed Tainted Gem instead of a Dark Crystal Shard. Also comes with a quest to get two spinning swords.
    quote:

    Time is Money
Slightly easier than the CVKS, I guess?
    • Slugfit Horn x5 - Slugfit in /mobius
    • Tanuki Ears x3 - Tanuki in /bamboo
    • Wereboar Tusk x2 - Big Bad Boar in /greenguardwest - quickly access by going down from /mobius
    • Onibaba Nails x3 - Onibaba in /junkyard - requires completion of the zone
    • Imp Flame x3 - Fire Imp in /hydra or /mobius
    Rewards:
    • Diamond of Nulgath x1
    • Tainted Gem x1
    Random chance drops:
    • Unidentified 13: "The Contract of Nulgath" x1
    • Dark Crystal Shard x1
    • Voucher of Nulgath x1
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
    • Totem of Nulgath x1
    • Gem of Nulgath x1
    • Fiend Token x1
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x1

Tip: Start in /mobius, get your Slugfit and maybe your Fire Imps, then walk down to get the Wereboar Tusks.

    Resources

Now that you've seen who can give you these things, it might be worth detailing what they actually are. It is time for an introduction to the reagents used by Nulgath and the followers of the Nation. There are several, which makes inventory management a bit more of a challenge than just amassing piles of Legion Tokens.

    quote:

    Unidentified 10 (Bag of Dirt)
    Abbreviated as: Uni 10, Dirt
    Max stacksize: 400
This used to be a mostly worthless resource that could only be used to track the drop rates of actually useful resources, it has since been used to make the Nulgath Nation House, as well as a piece of the Void Highlord class. The quests mentioned here are also the ones that people use when they want to farm for many Nulgath reagents at once. As such, Drudgen and Larvae are the best free sources of all reagents.

    quote:

    Tainted Gem
    Abbreviated as: TG
    Max stacksize: 200
One of the original reagents, these are easy to acquire, although the quantities in which you need them may make you think otherwise.
    • Cube Reagent
Almost every floating Nulgath-y sword pet can grant this quest. Turn in 25 Cubes, and get a single Tainted Gem.
This quest is faster than Bone Dust Reagent because Grizzlespit + Box Guardians are much weaker than Battleunder B monsters, and they can drop Cubes in stacks of 1-3 and 1-5.
      • Reward: Tainted Gem x1
    • Dreadrock Gem Exchange
Don't feel like beating up hundreds of Sneevils for Tainted Gems? How about beating up hundreds of villains?
This quest reward is not guaranteed, although its frequency makes it a rival for Cube Reagent.
      • Random reward: Tainted Gem x1

    quote:

    Dark Crystal Shard
    Abbreviated as: DCS
    Max stacksize: 250
One of the original reagents, quests that guarantee this drop take longer than getting Tainted Gems.
    • Essence of Defeat Reagent
Almost every floating Nulgath-y sword pet can grant this quest. Turn in the reagents you've been using to navigate Tercessuinotlim, and receive some Dark Crystal Shards.
      • Reward: Dark Crystal Shard x1 or x2

    quote:

    Diamond of Nulgath
    Abbreviated as: Diamond, DoN
    Max stacksize: 500
One of the original reagents, these used to be super valuable. You used to need to trade more than a million gold for one! Now, you can see people hauling them home by the wheelbarrow, being used as wallpaper, and sometimes even being burned for kindling. The aftermath of the Dage vs Nulgath war was not kind to the value of Diamonds.
    • Only the Strong Survive Today
    • Crush the Weak
Beat up monsters in /evilwarnul, get Diamonds. You need a Contract to do this, consider getting one from Supplies to Spin the Wheel of Chance or a Nulgath Larvae. Crush the Weak is for Legends, and thus has a larger reward.
      • Reward: Diamond of Nulgath x2 OR Diamond of Nulgath x3

    quote:

    Gem of Nulgath
    Abbreviated as: Gem, GoN
    Max stacksize: 150
Originally only available randomly from Larvae, these eventually became more common as Bamboozle started providing them, before being easily accessible through Drudgen's new quest.
    • Voucher Item: Totem of Nulgath
60 Essences nets you a Totem or 10 Gems of Nulgath. You need a Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) to start this quest, which seems like an even steeper cost than a Contract. However, you don't need to spend it, which means it can be good for as few as 1 Totem or as many as 300 Gems.
      • Reward: Gem of Nulgath x10
    • The Refreshing Deal
    • The Poisonous Deal
These two quests eat a bunch of reagents, including 5 Blood Gems, to make 20 Gems. Great if you have a stock, not so much if you don't.
      • Reward: Gem of Nulgath x20
    • Nulgath (Larvae)
Has a fair chance to drop Gems, a decent way to get some while you're also looking for other items.
      • Random reward: Gem of Nulgath x1
    • Forge Gemstones for Nulgath
Surprisingly high drop rate, and gives 3x at once instead of just 1. A bit hard to access, however.
      • Random reward: Gem of Nulgath x3

    quote:

Unidentified 13 (The Contract of Nulgath)
    Abbreviated as: Contract, Uni 13
    Max stacksize: 3
A hard-to-get item that used to be a 1% drop, now they're much more available. Often used to unlock improved reagent quests such as in /evilwarnul or /dreadrock, Juggernaut Items of Nulgath, and many more.
      Diamond Exchange
Trading 3 Diamonds for 1 Contract is the absolute best way, but it requires Legend and 5,000 ACs.
      • Reward: The Contract of Nulgath x1
    • Nulgath (Larvae)
Has a fair chance to drop Contract, a decent way to get some while you're also looking for other items.
      • Random reward: The Contract of Nulgath x1

    quote:

    Voucher of Nulgath
    Abbreviated as: Voucher, VM
    Max stacksize: 1
Not used as often as the non-mem version below, member vouchers are still an item that can be used in some Legend quests, and has a 250k sellback to boot. Mostly gold fodder for non-Legends.
    • Nulgath (Larvae)
Has a fair chance to drop Voucher, a decent way to get some while you're also looking for other items.
      • Random reward: Voucher of Nulgath x1

    quote:

    Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)
    Abbreviated as: VNM
    Max stacksize: 1
An item that has maintained its rarity, VNMs are believed to be a 1% drop from everything other than Tendurrr the Assistant, and are often consumed in creating advanced items. Unlocks Drudgen's Totem/Gem quest, and the Void Highlord's Challenge.
    • Tendurrr's Assistance quests
You can force the VNM to drop, but only if you have max stacks of every other item it can drop. This is quite costly, but if you're in a pinch, you're in a pinch.
      • Random reward: Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
    • Nulgath (Larvae)
Has a chance to drop VNM, a decent way to get some while you're also looking for other items.
      • Random reward: Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1

    quote:

    Essence of Nulgath
    Abbreviated as: Essence
    Max stacksize: 100
A 10% drop that used to only be 1% of a Totem each, these slowly became their own resource.
    • Dark Makai (Level 25)
Quite straightforward. If for some reason you don't want to go to /tercessuinotlim, the /nulgath map also has 2x Dark Makai.

    quote:

    Totem of Nulgath
    Abbreviated as: Totem
    Max stacksize: 30
Hard to get on their own, but are now fairly easily made by combining Essences or other things.
      • Reward: Totem of Nulgath x1
    • The Refreshing Deal
    • The Poisonous Deal
These two quests eat a bunch of reagents, including 5 Blood Gems, to make 1 Totem. Great if you have a stock, not so much if you don't.
      • Reward: Totem of Nulgath x1

    quote:

    Archfiend's Favor
    Abbreviated as: Favor
    Max stacksize: 5,000
Super frequent drop that unfortunately also gets used in high quantities. Quests eat these in quantities of 50, 200, 300, 500, or even 5,000.

    quote:

    Nulgath's Approval
    Abbreviated as: Approval
    Max stacksize: 1,000
Another super frequent drop that also unfortunately also gets used in high quantities. Quests eat these in quantities of 50, 300, 500, or even 1,000.

    quote:

    Blood Gem of the Archfiend
    Abbreviated as: BG
    Max stacksize: 100
An item that is normally a long grind from a quest that only rewards you with 1. Some pets offer ways to get BGs that don't take 2 hours apiece, which are an obvious advantage.
    • Tenacity Challenge
Almost free daily Blood Gem. Great for building a stock.
      • Reward: Blood Gem of the Archfiend x1
    • Kiss the Void (Nulgath)
    • Kiss the Void (ENNH)
The original way. Very painful, rewards 1 BG every time. Maybe you'll get one of the 8x 1% drops when farming this quest, though. Remember you can buyback Tendurrr, and skip that 1% drop.
      • Reward: Blood Gem of the Archfiend x1

    quote:

    Diamond Badge of Nulgath
    Abbreviated as: DB
    Max stacksize: 300
Only used in /shadowblast... for now.
    • Nation Loyalty Rewarded
The only way. Requires a Contract and a Nation Round 4 Medal from the previous quests to get. Used to be a lot better when you got DBs every turn-in, now you only get them a quarter of the time unless you have DCS and Diamonds maxed out. Bring a solo or party class, the bosses can be tough if you aren't fully decked out.
      • Random reward: Diamond Badge of Nulgath x5

    quote:

    Emblem of Nulgath
    Abbreviated as: Emblem
    Max stacksize: 100
A resource acquired about once per 50 kills. Used to make items in /shadowblast, but also for the Void Highlord's Challenge and the Void Paladin quests.
    • Nation Recruits: Seal Your Fate
The only way. Requires a Nation Round 4 Medal from the previous quests to get. 25x 100% drop Fiend Seals and the low-drop Gem of Domination. Unlucky heroes might find themselves at 100 Fiend Seals still without a Gem of Domination.
Up -> Left -> Up -> Right in /shadowblast leads you to the room that makes Emblems the most efficiently.
      • Reward: Emblem of Nulgath x1

    quote:

    Fiend Seal
    Abbreviated as: FS
    Max stacksize: 100
Requires a Nation Round 4 Medal from the previous quests to get. A 100% drop from Legion monsters in /shadowblast, used in the creation of Emblems, among other quests.
    • Legion Airstrike
    • Paragon
You really want a strong aoe 3 or 4 class in order to farm Seals and Emblems.
Up -> Right -> Up -> Right in /shadowblast leads you to the room that drops Seals the most efficiently.

    quote:

Unidentified 34 (Ball of Malignant Essence)
    Abbreviated as: Uni 34
    Max stacksize: 300
A resource used in the creation of the Archfiend DoomLord set, a quest that clogs at least 10 inventory spaces, and will keep hold of them for the entire time period.
    • Willpower Extraction
The only way. This quest will feed on your despair. Details in the section on the ArchFiend DoomLord items.
      • Random reward: Unidentified 34 x1 OR Unidentified 34 x2 OR Unidentified 34 x3 OR Unidentified 34 x5

    quote:

    Void Aura
    Abbreviated as: VA
    Max stacksize: 7,500
A resource whose non-Legend method makes a mockery of Blood Gems, Void Aura is used in the (unrelated) creation of the Necrotic Sword of Doom. Every once in a while, small quantities this resource is needed for Nulgath items, notably the Void Avenger Scythe and Void Paladin items.
    • Retrieve Void Auras
200 kills for 2-10 of the resource? That's crazy! Oh wait, Unidentified 34s...
      • Random reward: Void Aura x2 OR Void Aura x5 OR Void Aura x10
    • Gathering Unstable Essences
201 kills of weaker monsters. A bit better, but still painful.
      • Random reward: Void Aura x2 OR Void Aura x5 OR Void Aura x10
    • Commanding Shadow Essences
Requires SDKA. If you have it, Void Auras are still time-consuming, but at least won't rot your soul. As much.
      • Random reward: Void Aura x3 OR Void Aura x5 OR Void Aura x10

    quote:

    Roentgenium of Nulgath
    Abbreviated as: Roent, Rg
    Max stacksize: 15
A resource used in the creation of the Void Highlord class, a quest that clogs at least 17 inventory spaces, and will keep hold of them for the entire time period. Details in the section on the Void Highlord items.

There are also multiple minor resources that are used in one or two quests or for a single item, which will be explained as necessary.

Major items of interest and how to get them

Of course you would be interested in the rewards. Who wouldn't be? There are several series of quests that can take dozens or even hundreds of hours to complete, but the rewards may be well worth it.
All guides assume using public assistants. Not only is it demoralizing to say "But if you have X Pet, this step is trivial", but anyone should realize things like the Nulgath Challenge Pet's daily Blood Gem being easier to get than doing KtV. Estimated drop rates are coming soooooooon, but realize that many exclusive assistants are exclusive for a reason.
    quote:

    quote:

    Nulgath Nation House (Terraforming)
Max out almost every reagents to forge a Nulgath Nation House, and combine it with 3 very rare items to enchant it further.
  • Ownership requirement: NUE Necronomicon
    • Unidentified 10 x400
    • Unidentified 13 x1
    • Tainted Gem x200
    • Dark Crystal Shard x250
    • Diamond of Nulgath x300
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
    • Totem of Nulgath x30
    • Gem of Nulgath (Misc) x150
    • Cemaros' Amethyst x1
    • Aluminum x1
    • Courage Tonic x5
    • Nulgath's Approval x1,000
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x100
    Reward:
    • Nulgath Nation House

First take a look at the obscure reagents:
    • NUE Necronomicon
      • An inexpensive item from the Doomwood storyline. That being said, its requirement means you need Rank 10 Doomwood to get the NNH (and by extension, the ENNH).
    • Cemaros' Amethyst x1
      • A 0ac item in the Chaos Rep shop at /mountdoomskull. Not actually worth mentioning outside of the 1 bag slot it takes up.
    • Aluminum x1
      • One of seven drops from a quest as part of recreating the Blinding Light of Destiny. It's a daily, so it's annoying, but you are almost guaranteed to get one during the time it takes to get everything else.
    • Courage Tonic x5
After that, consider the remaining reagents:
    • Unidentified 13 x1
      • You want to get this first. Not only does it give you the fastest way to get Diamonds, you'll probably also find a few bits and bobs of useful reagents during Wheel and Larvae turn-ins. You might even find the elusive VNM!
    • Diamond of Nulgath x300
      • An easy grind, killing that many monsters in /evilwarnul will also get you closer to Nulgath's Approval x1,000.
    • Nulgath's Approval x1,000
      • Get these as you get Diamonds. You'll probably get as many as you need by the time you get enough Diamonds. Archfiend's Favor, while not useful for the ENNH, is an item that you might need for other quests. Might as well keep them and bank them, if you're short on space.
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x100
      • Straightforward and painful. Possibly the most time-consuming of them all, so it would be good to get this out of the way early.
    • Unidentified 10 x400
      • While this seems like a daunting 400 Wheel spins, it is actually the easiest item to get because you don't need to care about how you get it. Remember how Kiss the Void gives 5 Dirt alongside the Blood Gem? If you have no better Blood Gem source, you can actually just put off getting Dirt until you need Blood Gems, and then get both at once.
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
      • Hope you found one while getting a Contract. If not, it's back to the Wheel for you. Don't forget to dump Blood Cloaks into The Assistant for "free" Wheel spins.
    • Gem of Nulgath (Misc) x150
      • Once you have a VNM, you can just head into /tercessuinotlim and kill thousands of Dark Makai. 150 Gems is 900 Essences, or ~9,000 kills. Good thing /tercessuinotlim is almost always full of other people inevitably also looking for Essences.
    • Totem of Nulgath x30
      • Same as Gems, although 30 Totems is 1,800 Essences is ~18,000 kills. At this point you should be really grateful that Dark Makai are aggressive and you don't have to kill all 18,000 by yourself.
    • Dark Crystal Shard x250
      • Essence of Defeat Reagent lets you combine Defeated Makai x50 with other stuff to make a DCS or two. This quest eats a bunch of inventory so you might need to bank some stuff as you do this quest.
    • Tainted Gem x200
      • You can leave this for last, or do it first and then bank the TGs. It doesn't matter, since you only need 2 inventory slots that you can juggle around.

  • quote:

    Enchanted Nulgath Nation House
Even after getting the NNH, your quest is not necessarily complete. To evolve your NNH further, you need to combine it with some infuriatingly low drops.
    • Nulgath Nation House x1
    • Pink Star Diamond of Nulgath x1
    • Musgravite of Nulgath x2
    Reward:
    • Enchanted Nulgath Nation House

    • Nulgath Nation House
      • You just got this.
    • Pink Star Diamond of Nulgath x1
      • Believed to be a 1% or lower drop rate item from Guru Chests at /guru, you either need to have the Mixing Pot quest accepted or use a long-range attack to fight a Guru Chest.
    • Musgravite of Nulgath x2
      • Believed to be a 1% or lower drop rate item from Ancient Chests at /timelibrary, you kind of need to wander around in the Library to fight an Ancient Chest.

    quote:

    Void Paladin set
Have you lost your light? Fall deeper and deeper into Oblivion's trials and become a paladin aligned with not righteous good, but the Void. Thankfully, these quests don't have to be done in order. If you wanted, you could shoot for the Void Light without touching the other things. We won't judge. Too hard.
    • Blinding Light of Destiny x1 OR Ascended Light of Destiny x1
    • Dark Crystal Shard x230
    • Diamond of Nulgath x143
    • Emblem of Nulgath x15
    • Gem of Nulgath x45
    • Nulgath Shaped Chocolate x1
    • Scroll of Underworld x6
    • Tainted Gem x290
    • Totem of Nulgath x7
    • Void Aura x8
    • Unidentified 13 x8
    Quest breakdown:
    quote:

    A Dark Temptation
A quest you may find yourself repeating as many as 6 times. Each instance may be a fair bit less costly than a Juggernaut, but all 6 might prove time consuming.
    • Dark Crystal Shard x25
    • Diamond of Nulgath x13
    • Emblem of Nulgath x2
      • Emblems! You've seen them described earlier, and with only one method, there's no reason to not know how to get these.
    • Scroll of Underworld x1
    • Tainted Gem x35
    • Totem of Nulgath x1
    • Unidentified 13 x1
    Choice of one of:
    • Void Paladin Helm
    • Void Paladin Horns
    • Void Paladin Katana Cape
    • Void Paladin Cape
    • Void Paladin Katanas
    • Void Paladin Katana

    quote:

    Deeper and Deeper into Darkness
If it wasn't for the Void Auras, this quest would be barely tougher than a Juggernaut. With the Auras and the other differences, you have something greater.
    • Diamond of Nulgath x25
    • Tainted Gem x40
    • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
    • Gem of Nulgath x25
    • Dark Crystal Shard x40
    • Unidentified 13 x2
    • Nulgath Shaped Chocolate x1
      • A single 2M gold purchase from Murry at /citadel after you complete the Inquisitor story chain.
    • Void Aura x2
      • 2 Void Aura can be acquired through just one of Braeus' quest turn-ins, so it might not be so bad... right? It's a quest that requires you to kill a lot of things, but it's very straightforward, although if you are using the non-Legend method, you will need 10 free inventory spaces to hold all of that void goodness.
    Reward:
    • Void Paladin

    quote:

Sacrifice (BLoD Version) / Sacrifice (ALoD Version)
Hope you have a Blinding Light of Destiny, because if you don't, you can't actually do this quest.
    • Blinding Light of Destiny x1 OR Ascended Light of Destiny x1
    • Diamond of Nulgath x40
    • Dark Crystal Shard x40
    • Gem of Nulgath x20
    • Tainted Gem x40
    • Emblem of Nulgath x3
    • Totem of Nulgath x1
    • Void Aura x6
      • Getting 6 is a lot less kind than just getting 2. If you got 10x from the last quest, lucky you, but if you aren't lucky, you'll have retrieved Void Auras as many as four times to get the total 8 Aura. That's nothing compared to how many would be needed to make the Necrotic Sword of Doom, but they didn't have to get all of these other Nulgath reagents along the way.
    Reward:
    • Void Light of Destiny

    quote:

    Void Highlord set
17 days of pain and suffering for one of the strongest classes in the game.
    • Archfiend's Favor x4500
    • Black Knight Orb x15
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x30
    • Bone Dust x300
    • Dark Crystal Shard x200
    • Diamond of Nulgath x200
    • Dwakel Decoder x15
    • Elders' Blood x17
    • Elemental Ink x150
    • Emblem of Nulgath x300
    • Essence of Nulgath x750
    • Gem of Nulgath x450
    • Nulgath Shaped Chocolate x15
    • Nulgath's Approval x4500
    • Tainted Gem x1700
    • The Secret 1 x15
    • Totem of Nulgath x15
    • Unidentified 13 x15
    • Aelita's Emerald x15
    Quest breakdown:
    quote:

    Void Crystal A
    • Unidentified 10 x200
      • Don't freak out too quickly, observant individuals will notice you get 20x Uni 10 from the Void Highlord's Challenge. By the time you complete that quest 10/15 times, you'll already have enough for this.
    • Gem of Nulgath x150
    • Dark Crystal Shard x200
    • Tainted Gem x200
    Reward:
    • Void Crystal A

    quote:

    Void Crystal B
    • Diamond of Nulgath x200
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x30
    • Totem of Nulgath x15
    • Elders' Blood x2
      • Remember that old daily quest item from /arcangrove? You're going to need 2 to make the Void Crystal, and another 15 to make 1 Roentgenium each. Elder's Blood only stacks to 3, so be careful with that.
    Reward:
    • Void Crystal B

    quote:

    Void Highlord's Challenge
You won't break a sweat while completing his challenge. You'll break 15!
To obtain the Hadean Onyx required to start this quest, you need to visit the Carnage room in /tercessuinotlim, after which you need to kill the off-screen Shadow of Nulgath until the Onyx drops. You can do this either with aoe skills, or by scooting down slowly while using a short-range skill until you finally attack it.
  • Level requirement: 50+
  • Ownership requirement: Hadean Onyx of Nulgath
  • Ownership requirement: Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem)
    • Gem of Nulgath x20
    • Elemental Ink x10
      • Merge 2x Mystic Quills for 5x Ink, so you need 4x Quills per turn-in. They're quite easy to get, as Escherion can demonstrate.
    • Black Knight Orb x1
    • Bone Dust x20
    • Aelita's Emerald x1
      • A 0ac item in Yulgar's Weapon Shop. Not actually worth mentioning outside of the 1 bag slot it takes up.
    • Dwakel Decoder x1
      • Click on the red thing on the boiler in the farmhouse in /crashsite
    • Nulgath Shaped Chocolate x1
    • Unidentified 13 x1
    • The Secret 1 x1
      • You need to find somebody's Drudgen and accept the Secret Item quest in order to get this to drop. Then go to /willowcreek and make your way to Eastman's backyard and kill the Ninja Spy.
    • Elders' Blood x1
    • Tainted Gem x100
    • Nulgath's Approval x300
    • Essence of Nulgath x50
    • Archfiend's Favor x300
    • Emblem of Nulgath x20
    Rewards:
    • Void Highlord Armor
    • Helm of the Highlord
    • Highlord's Void Wrap
    • Unidentified 10 x20
    • Roentgenium of Nulgath x1
Repeat the Void Highlord's Challenge 14 more times in order to get enough materials for the class.

  • quote:

    ArchFiend DoomLord set
If you want one of the most useful sets of equipment for after the server rewrite, you're going to need this one.
Can take an undefined number of attempts to receive an Essence of the Almighty Archfiend. The highest attempt count is allegedly 37. Not for the faint of heart.

    Quest breakdown:
    quote:

    Willpower Extraction
A quest you may find yourself repeating as few as 9 times or as many as 90. When you toss all of these items only to get a single Malignant Essence. it's not the hero's willpower that's being extracted -- it's yours. You can buyback the DragonFire of Nulgath, but that's probably an exploit and back in my day we had to make them by hand, uphill both ways.
  • Ownership requirement: Unidentified 13: The Contract of Nulgath
    • Shadow Lich x1
      • Costs 50,000 gold and requires Rank 10 Evil to purchase.
    • DragonFire of Nulgath x1
      quote:

      Twisted Items of Nulgath
      Don't forget, 3 Totems is 1,800 Makai...
      • Totem of Nulgath x3
      • Nulgath Rune 4 - Skull Warrior from /evilwarnul
      Choice reward:
      • DragonFire of Nulgath
      • Crimson Plate of Nulgath
      • Crimson Face Plate of Nulgath

    • Unidentified 19 x1
      • Believed to be a 1% or lower drop rate item from all Wheel-type quests, this fish will make you want to tear your eyes out. Fortunately, killing Escherion thousands of times will naturally give you Chaoroot and some other relevant stuff. Hopefully. Tendurrr the Assistant can also provide Uni 19s, if you fulfill the other requirements.
    • Essence of Nulgath x10
    • Mystic Tribal Sword x1
      • Costs 6,000 gold and requires Rank 7 Arcangrove to purchase.
    • Doomatter x5
      • An annoying to acquire Alchemy reagent. The best way to get lots of this is by fighting the various stages of Vordred at /vordredboss (requires Doomwood part 1 completion). Cast skills during the cutscenes to skip through them quickly. Legends can battle the Fear Feeder at /creepy for fast Doomatter.
    • Necrot x5
      • Journey to /deathsrealm and kill a lot of Skeleton Fighters. Legends can instead go to /lighttempleb, where there are many more monsters that can drop this gunk.
    • Chaoroot x5
      • Although the Hydra Heads at /hydra are the easiest source, you can save a lot of time by collecting Chaoroot as you hurt yourself in trying to get Uni 19 from Escherion.
    • Archfiend's Favor x50
    • Mortality Cape of Revontheus x1
      • Archfiend's Favor x35
      • 10,000 gold
        • This quest actually requires 85 Favors and a total of 66,000 gold. You'll probably get more than that through sheer killing power, but it's still not very pretty to think about all the things you need to make Malignant Essence.
    • King Klunk's Crown x1
      • An uncommon drop from Legion Fenrirs. Might as well pick this up while grinding Favors.
    • Facebreaker of Nulgath x1
      quote:

      "Kindness" of Nulgath
A quest within a quest. This one will eat a Contract, so you actually need 2+ to do Willpower Extraction. Given how you don't get a choice in Facebreaker or Sightblinder, you need to keep the Sightblinder Axe in order to always get Facebreaker.
      • Golden Shadow Breaker x1
        • A drop from the Grand Inquisitor at /citadel. Braeus at /shadowfall has a Fast Travel option into the deepest part of /citadel, which lets you find the Grand Inquisitor quickly.
      • Shadow Terror Axe x1
        • Get this from the Bone Terror at the end of /battleundera. You can get to him quickly by entering /battleunderb and going up.
      • Unidentified 13: "The Contract of Nulgath" x1
      • Tainted Gem x5
      • Dark Crystal Shard x5
      • Diamond of Nulgath x1
      Random reward:
      • Facebreaker of Nulgath
      • SightBlinder Axe of Nulgath
    Random reward:
    • Unidentified 34 x1
    • Unidentified 34 x2
    • Unidentified 34 x3
    • Unidentified 34 x5

  • quote:

    Nulgath Demands Work
This is a quest that makes friends into enemies. Did you get a Unidentified 35 on the 1st try? 7th try? 12th try? 15th try? 24th try? 37th try? At an assumed 13% drop rate, you'd better hope you're ready for a very long haul...
  • Ownership requirement: Unidentified 13: The Contract of Nulgath
    • Unidentified 13 x1
    • Tainted Gem x15
    • Dark Crystal Shard x30
    • Diamond of Nulgath x10
    • Voucher of Nulgath x1
    • Gem of Nulgath x15
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x2
    • Unidentified 34 x10
      • You just did the quest for this. While you need a minimum of 44x, the real terror is in not getting the Uni 35 and having to start all the way back from Willpower Extraction...
    • Unidentified 27 x1
      quote:

      Ordinary Cape
The Ordinary Cape is also a rare drop from Wheels, but since they're used so much less often than Uni 19s, it feels so much better.
      • Unidentified 26 x1
      • Tainted Gem x5
      • Nulgath Rune 9 - Dark Makai from /tercessuinotlim
      Reward:
      • Unidentified 27

    • Golden Hanzo Void x1
      • Archfiend's Favor x200
      • Diamond of Nulgath x50
      • Tainted Gem x30
      • Dark Crystal Shard x15
      • Nulgath's Approval x50
      • Voucher of Nulgath (non-mem) x1
      • 100,000 Gold
        • You thought you only needed a useless member Voucher for this quest? Think again, it needs a VNM, too. In addition to the arduous Unidentified 34 x10, you also need an amount of stuff even more than that of a Juggernaut. A nasty quest with nasty requirements.
    Choice reward:
    • Doomblade of Destruction
    • DoomLord's War Mask
    • ShadowFiend Cloak
    • Locks of the DoomLord
    Random reward:
    • Unidentified 35 x1

  • Ownership requirement: Doomblade of Destruction
  • Ownership requirement: DoomLord's War Mask

    • Chaorruption Essence x75
      • From chaorrupted monsters in the /alliance map.
    • Essence Potion x5
    • Living Star Essence x100
      • From Living Stars at /starsinc. Requires completion of the /starsinc story chain (SuperNova Badge), as well as accept the Becoming the Star Dominus quest in order to drop.
    • Archfiend's Favor x5,000
    • Essence of Klunk x1
    • Blood Gem of the Archfiend x10
    • Unidentified 34 x4
    • Unidentified 35 x1
      • It's finally over.
    Reward:
    • Unidentified 10 x20
    • The Secret 1
    • ArchFiend DoomLord

The following is a list of me tracking the frequency of 60 Void Shogun quest turn-ins, up until I got all the items. Nobody will receive the same numbers, although these results should give a good idea of relative drop frequency of the items.

To celebrate this guide being mained (I didn't even know, it was a surprise present!) I will try to get the Void Spartan things down. They seem like they'll fit in nicely with other "minor" items, seeing as how it didn't get a little quest chain like AFDL or VP. Yay, no long quests, boo, RNG!

Awesome guide! Something that caught my eye, it's nitpicking really, in the 'Void Spartan gear' section you've typed 'X00k gold' instead of '100k gold'.

It's 100k base, but you're supposed to boost it with gear and temp boosters to bump it up to 300k or even 500k (edited for clarity).
    Every trick in the book.

For the ArchFiend Class section, Feed the Fiend Tokens was updated a couple weeks ago, so you just have to move the x1 to the "may receive" portion.

I got the Receipt yesterday, so I guess it's time to start making a guide on using that pet, since it's not very straightforward.
Recruiting advice from anyone else who has used it.

You want a minimum of 13 inventory slots for this pet.
The following must be in inventory at all times to use this pet:
    Gem of Nulgath (pet)
    Gemstone Receipt of Nulgath
    Unidentified 13
    Unidentified 4

You will need the following items:

Unidentified 5 x1 - Common drop from Spin the Wheel and The Assistant. Better hit up that Escherion.
Unidentified 31 x1 - Common drop from Spin the Wheel. Better hit up that Escherion.
Bejeweled Blade x1 - kill Skeletal Warrior and Skeletal Viking in /castleundead, Shark Bait and Fishman Soldier in /pirates, and Trobble and Leatherwing in /guru.
Yara's Sword x1 - kill undead monsters in /castleundead. Synergizes with 2 of 6 Bejeweled Blade items.
Zephyrus Manifesto x1 - walk to screen 7 with the Proto-Air Dracolich. Use an anti-dragon item if you have any.

You want to turn in for Bejeweled Blade and Yara's Sword, and then immediately accept the quests again to maintain the loop.

    Rewards:
Gem of Nulgath (Misc) x3 (100%)
    Bloodstone of Nulgath (?%)
    Quartz of Nulgath (~80%)
    Tanzanite of Nulgath (~15%)
    Unidentified Gemstone of Nulgath (<1%)

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but for Kiss the Void, it should be noted that Tendurr can be bought back using AC Buyback. It'll save some people (ME INCLUDED) the time to farm Dark Makai. Having to relog is a small issue IMO compared to the 1% droprate you'd have to compete with.

BTW, I really used this guide to the fullest. Thanks for making it!

The Bounty Hunter Drone Quest should get updated. The Cyclops Warlord in Mobius got removed.
