Since the infernal android is split into two separate bots now, It's lost its unique ability to have physical and energy attacks. So what is the best bot to buy now? I was thinking of buying Black Abyss Bot or Cyber Yeti for their special ability.

Bounty Hunters that put most of their stat points into Dex for damage will have low resistance and as a result easily lose to opponents with that attack type. Cyber Yeti's two turn Block/Deflect on weapon attacks can be useful here.

Abyss Bot's reduction in defense and resistance scales to Robot damage and a decent Focus level complements a more balanced defense and resistance build with lower weapon damage.

My build for my main is in my signature, I think Infernal Android is fine with it since i lack damage. I feel like i’m one of the few bounty hunters that don’t like the Stun Grenade and Multi-Shot build. Since there are a lot of bounty hunters using those builds, I am countering them with my build.

For my lvl 14 tech mage however, My build mostly focuses on Malfunction,Battery Backup and Assimilation. Putting 2 points in defense matrix and technician. Im going for a long lasting build with focus level 5. So i’m guessing i should go for abyss bot since i lack damage and more on the defense side.

Black abyss bot is an awful robot which should only be used for NPC fights. The abyss bot's reduction in defense and resistance scaled to your opponents LEVEL, not anything to do with the focus level/technology. Infernal is still the strongest robot that is always around, without a doubt. The good robots to have would be the infernal, cyber yeti, or the blood hawks, and maybe the botanical hazard which is coming out soon. As a BH, you should always have a max static grenade, and the reason why other hunters have high multi and stun grenade is because it's fast and that BH energy steal is terrible.
As a person who used to play BH a lot, I also hate the stun grenade and multi-shot build because I prefer focus. Countering that build just requires a build with good defense and resistance with ways to steal energy and heal more than they can. This is usually the result of having more support so you steal more energy, and having frost shards and maybe energy shot if you don't have azrael's anguish.

As a tech mage at level 14, you should basically have as much as you possible can on battery, 3 or 4 on assimilation, and 1 on supercharge. 1 on supercharge is a guaranteed 200 damage which can be useful at times. Don't do black abyss bot, it is awful. You will regret it.
