With the BH smoke and being able to have more burst damage, BM has become weaker. BM doesn't have the burst damage, or at elast the consistent high damage that BH has with smoke. The first thing to look at as a BM is parasite. With the buffed debuffs and shorter battles, parasite should be buffed to its 3 turns, and back to the 15% drain (because keeping the 20% would be a bit too powerful) to help have it's energy usage keep up with other classes. Right now, BH can smoke, a BM shields, BH does azrael aux, BM does mark, BH does mark and the damage output is high and the BM can't counter that, especially not with damage output. With Mercenary, the static drain is too much for the parasite, making an easy drain on the second turn without the BM getting good enough energy, same with other classes. Once the energy parasite is fixed, we need to start looking at the damage output that BM has. We have plasma cannon for focus which can be buffed to do more damage, which can help a bit against the BH We have intimidate which can lower damage, and it can be useful to help counter str builds, so a buff to this by a few points may be nice, it is 4 turns though so a smaller buff than to smoke and malf would help. We have fireball which isn't a very used skill. Blood mages don't use staffs and a buff to fireball damage can help with output damage for str builds, especially with energy regeneration from parasite as well as being able to use a staff with this class, but the damage should be high to where it's worth it to not strike. We also have bludgeon, this may be needed to be buffed for BM and not TM since TM seems to be doing fine as strength, but maybe not. Other than these, BM doesn't have much of a good time with regenerating energy and doing much damage, and without a nice debuff like BH to make damage much easier with less energy generation, BM needs the parasite buff so it can live longer to do the damage. Supercharge: This thing isn't that useful as BM, but I'm not sure how to fix the utility because of plasma cannon. Also as a Tech Mage, many people aren't focus because strength is better, so a damage buff to this would help benefit the focus Tech Mage, and possibly a staff BM build. Possibly we could give berzerker back to blood mage like the old days for a more viable strength build since bludgeon is not the greatest skill for damage with the energy requirement to damage ratio, but that may a bit of coding difficulty. Another idea came from my friend who said that BM can have more HP regeneration, so maybe a MOB buff just for BM would help with the HP regeneration aspect so the damage output isn't nearly an issue, but I think this should be one of the last things that should be changed, if at all. I believe that parasite energy manipulation should be buffed to 3 turns at least, so BM can do damage with the Plasma Cannon (5 Focus) and Fireball and Bludgeon (Strength) Quite a bit of these BM buffs need significant improvements, since a BH smoke and azrael aux can leave a BM at about 200 defense down from 360, which is about 300 damage for 2 turns as opposed to 150 ish per turn as well as the MOB gain the BH gets, as well as the BM parasite and MOB and Intimidate being blockable, with less defense as smoke, it makes the BH have a very high chance to block...
