Okay, well here’s my opinion on what needs to happen with balance if it means anything to y’all.

Bringing back passives would help solve so many issues as it is, we could go on with balance normally. I’m afraid to do things now because if we add passives later it will be messed up again.

However this is what I’m seeing (yes I've done battles believe it or not)

Massacre – this needs a nerf – supposed to scale on tech but 37 tech is enough for 1000 damage with a 42+35 primary with massacre on 10
Tactical hits 1000 damage higher than 80+35 tech
Along with poison, guaranteed 300 energy from static and a high malf, it’s difficult to win.

Some people say oh, it's an easy build to beat. Well sure, let's just pick a counter build and yea it's easy
Ways to beat that build: Going first with a supp/str build
Str build
Kartherax
Pyro fly
Blood Mage, especially with Kartherax

All builds now basically rely around beating that one build, as sad as it seems it’s true. The build may be “easy to beat” for some, but you have to do the counter build to do it.

Strength – I like the buff, but str can’t really be good without a sidearm unless we buff the strength skills (since we did nerf smoke and malf for str builds I feel like bludgeon should receive a buff again)
I think the str buff should be higher because I don’t think we’ll see many str builds without a buff (the first str buff was OP because of malf/smoke and first chance) – not because of the stat itself

Plasma bolt and super – these aren’t that great anymore. On a 5 foc merc – the bunker is more powerful than a level 10 bolt because of the defense ignore. And it has better tools like blood commander, surge, hybrid.
Same with blood mage - cannon does more damage, they don't have to waste a turn getting energy (TM has to assim and battery while BM just does parasite)

Tech Mage – has to use 2 turns to assimilate and battery while a merc only needs one
Sure – the tech mage gets more energy, but the damage over time is too much for it

Would like to see a plasma bolt base buff and a super base buff and keep scaling down so tech isn’t OP

Supercharge is weaker than Surgical strike again
since the OP tech TM nerf came that one monday and basically killed tech TM - then this update Friday basically killed TM in general unless the TM has pyro or Kartherax.

Once CH is scaled down to being normal, I think BH mass could be a problem, so I think we should just nerf mass itself from being able to do 600 damage with 37 tech on a 400 resistance tank since mass scales with tech now. That dex requirement would be nice, make them have to use 23 more points into dex so they can’t put those stats in heal by 300 or something.
Strength builds aren’t that great, and that’s definitely a fact, especially with Kartherax. Dunno how to fix this because the only reason str was good before was the things I mentioned
I still think that strength should be better but given more diminishing returns so that people can’t spam it like 100+35 str and base dex +14 and have it work, because although “risky” it doesn’t get blocked that much… especially with malf nerf, malf is -11 of what it used to be on 10, so that’s a big oof. I’d like bludgeon to have it’s energy cost lowered and damage improved again, level 1 is like 150 or something and that’s pretty ridiculous.

Focus is pretty gone and the massacre build definitely helps with it, the only foc that can work is apparently merc and blood mage, and blood mage has parasite and merc has the armor, static, and most likely Kartherax.

Blood mage can beat the build because static, and that’s pretty sad.
The other builds that can beat it are some strength builds, but honestly those builds don’t work on 90% of the other builds, especially when they have Kartherax.

Still would like to see:
Underdog fixed – first turn chance gone
Medic Buffed – more points at every level (up to 45 from 25 or something like that)
CH – EMP and Plasma Grenade Buf
BH – Static Grenade with tech (like it used to be and it worked fine) and better scaling so support can’t be OP and focus is way better and BH gets more energy.
TM – Better bolt and Supercharge for focus and a bit for tech but more so for focus because tech can be OP way faster. Nerf scaling and improve base
TLM – We nerfed strength so I feel the 10% defense ignore on frenzy should come back
Merc – Not bad
BM – Would have to see after focus builds come back, but I have a feeling parasite won’t be as good if these high energy builds die again.
Strength buff – it’s really not that good without OP debuffs – that’s why str merc, tlm, ch weren’t used, while str BH and TM were (CH malf was still bad)
BM had a really good fireball to help make up for the lack of strength so it was a thing once fireball came around
Only time str TLM was around was like 2 people and it wasn’t really that great because focus would win if it went first and unless you’re a rank 80 like me, you go first a lot against it.

Energy meta – this is never going to go away unless passives come back
Notice how people wanted BH to be better with static grenade and it got buffed for 3 weeks (now it's +13 with 10% more drain which is still bad) and people are still unhappy with it.
TM assim is trash but the battery is 10 more than before balances happened
Merc static is really good
CH static gives like 300 with high support
Are battles really faster?

Yea sure, CH makes it 4 turns

Take that away, I don’t think battles will really be that much faster.

Only way it’s faster is because of the robot damage and some debuffs.

Strength is at like an overall 7 damage plus, and robots I forgot but that’s like 40 I think and sidearms are up a bit but it’s not going to really speed up battles that much.

Still can’t wait for Kartherax to come out – Everytime str tries to become a meta – everyone will switch over to Karth and annihilate each and every build. Sidearm with str would really help this.

Dex builds are also bad right now, so even if guns went to strength – it wouldn’t really change anything

But what about jugg? – It’s NPC battles and it should take longer turns because the battles are so easy.

Edit: I do see the strength buff and I think the top has diminishing returns which is pretty cool. Maybe we'll see more strength builds or some focus builds with strength in the future

They sure are taking their time with the under dog first turn thing for something that looks like it'd be quick and easy to sort out. Lucky to be rank 4.
