Hi, I've been part of Oversoul since day 1, watched the forums grow, made so many friends, struggled with Founder Knight and trying to get all the rare possessions, and I just want to say it pains me so much to see the game as it is. I'm in Solace and it's completely empty, just me. It hurts so much, but I'm so happy to see people actually IN the forums, discussing stuff. I genuinely wanted this game to succeed and I wish there was something we could or could have done to save it. I miss you, sweet Oversoul :(

All is not lost! As of the launcher's inclusion of OverSoul, there have been two Discord servers (the OverSoul Community Run Discord and the Dragon Nation Tournament) set up to discuss the game that have proven much more active of late than the forums, and there are a good number of people there that play the game regularly. There were a couple of recent tournaments stemming from these servers which attracted more players from out of the woodwork. Both were pretty well attended with around 40 participants each and there is currently another one of these being planned for this month which I will give further information on as I get it and attempt to direct people towards it as I did the Dragon Nation tournament once sign-ups for it open.

Furthermore, efforts have been made on Twitter to communicate with the staff about efforts to revive OverSoul. Alina herself has helped sponsor the prizes for Dawn's and Dragon Nation's tournaments and is in contact with the host of the coming tournament. Alina has stated that there will also be an official tournament between now and December, and if we can maintain the levels of activity that we've had that there will be a release in December of two characters including a playable version of Treasure Chest.

There is a good amount that has been happening of late with the game and real reasons for optimism. While we're still a far cry from OverSoul's peak days and there may not always be people in Solace, chances are there are people online scavenging the World Map to find characters or grinding it out in dungeons. I've been playing every day the past couple months and there are others like Corn Flakes, Enchanted Breeze, Atreue, Jadow, and Genge to name a few that I see either in-game or talking about the game on Discord on a daily basis.

If you have fond memories of the game then now is the time to play it, with people at AE taking notice and keeping an eye on the game's levels of interest and activity. As I speak I'm levelling an evolved Darkon Drago.

You have my utmost encouragement and I shall love to hear how the levelling and evolving goes!

I decided to at last go for Vampire Knight even though I consider it a downgrade from Lord but he's pretty fun. Valdis was the first character I ever levelled to 20 so it's nostalgic to revisit him.

Still hate they never made the starters go legend Blood Archfiend was all I talked about back then. A rival faction of Nulgath that functioned off of blood energy instead of void energy like Nulgath.

 I was playing around today with some other forumites, including Phoenix Reborn (not sure who he is on the forums) and our resident PvP champ Corn Flakes himself. I managed to nail Corn Flakes in the first match, a lvl 9 vs lvl 9 match, with my Ninja vs his Young Revontheus. Then I proceeded to get schooled over and over again. But it was a lot of fun! I actually forgot that Oversoul was dead for a while. Might upload some screenies of the matches.

Imagine my surprise waking up today to find an update for Oversoul - that's a pretty neat early Christmas present
Now, I wonder if the new characters are also encounterable... Time to start hunting, I guess!

This might be late, but has anyone found Dean Gears in the wild yet? And how's the spawn rate?

 Dean Gears has been found at Grid Q7 ( Wiki link) in the North map. His spawn rate seems to be on par with that of Tyrant Moose's or possibly lower.

Thanks. I found him after 300-400 battles. I couldn't possess him though, so I used an SG. Still better than buying him for the full price since I only had two SGs at the time!

Been doing pretty well. Honestly pretty surprised to see people still playing AE games since they are in pretty rough shape now a days.

 the Os community is mainly on discord server and in game. Due to the game not being update at this time. When I have time I see about maybe another tourney or another project the staff discuss about when did the winter update.
