Problem is, if you want Smoke back will you sacrifice Mineral Armor or Reroute for that? They are both vital part of most of the builds as well, you up for it? If not then that's my point proven. We have to see how FC will be changed in the future - perhaps it'll affect all your weapons and give you bonus damage for few turns whilst proving useful to Mercs and TLMs?

Your idea is somewhat a passive Poison by only working for primary weapons. It's good to counter Str builds, but when it comes to Support builds that might use Gun and Aux mainly (and skills that don't require primary) - you're screwed! xD

Yes. The passive armors is really ruining the balance since they can put alot of stat points, as you say, in other stat. Which really outclass the classes without a passive armor.
