@almanac: Morning to you, night time for me! In any case, hello! [8D]

@Mondez: I am not a fan of perma-rares for reasons you pretty much already stated. I said this a long, long time ago that perma-rares should be restricted to special events that occur in game (Stress test, Alpha test and other related events). No need to go beyond those scenarios. As a matter of fact, I think the concept of rares is the sole reason why the AQW community is so disrespectful and aggressive ._.

Beck -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 20:57:00)

Which reminds me, if you guys haven't tried it yet, check out AQ3D's Stress Testing! It's laggy as heck and you don't get to keep any of the loot, but boy it sure was fun to run around with a BLoD for a bit and get stuck around rocks in 3D!

Back to OS: Poison Drake level 17! :)

DeathGuard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 20:57:44)

@Scherzo: Thank you! Trying to get better with him :D

@On topic: Do you think Paladin Master is strong enough to lvl it up or you prefer Father Time?

Beck -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:01:08)

Father Time. Because as well as Paladin Master does, especially at low levels (10 or lower), you really need your Light main character to have Greater Heal to be competitive.
On the other hand, there's a good chance he's getting a legendary evolution one day, so it couldn't hurt to level him.
Daichi has a level 20 Paladin Master.

Redingard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:01:36)

Perma-rares that aren't situational, unlike our versions of VK or Skexis, are horrid. They tear apart the gaming community and ravage it with jealousy and hatred. I'm not a hunter, but I will capture them when I can. I don't say I approve, but depending on what the conditions are, perma-rares are alright.

@Scherzo

I remember our fight, your Shatters took down most of my HP. It's a good thing I almost always had two Iron Hides at the ready. >:3

EDIT: Sorry for my mistakes. I'm pretty sleepy. ._.

DeathGuard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:03:15)

I really need to find Father Time and possess him, in the meanwhile I will stop with Paladin Master, and continue training Pikeman.

Skurge -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:04:44)

@DeathGuard:

Paladin Master doesn't have Greater Heal. Retribution doesn't matter much, as it's basically 3 five-attack cards with a one turn delay.
Father Time also has better survivability, unlike Master Paladin, it has 3 five-defense as opposed to 2.

Leveling Father Hour can be a real pain and the small benefits aren't worth it. I'd go for Paladin Master.

frogger3456 -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:06:52)

@Scherzo
Retribution is also nice since it can't be countered

DeathGuard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:07:12)

@Scherzo: That's a great analysis. Thanks a lot :D

Mondez -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:07:33)

@Jmagician
What's your stance on the different variation of a perma rare that would be available for everyone? That was the argument that occurred on the last thread and 90% did like the idea while the 10% did not want a variation of the rare perma character which the character of issue surrounded was Void Knight.

@Deathguard
I must fight you one day with my level 20 Lich and my level 15 Abberant.

There isn't any sort of official tournament that is going to occur, might as well get FT for reasons you listed. It will be a much better option for the long run which is where this game is heading (unless it goes back in time xD).

@Mondez: Why do I get the feeling Andlu was in that 10%. Anyways, to answer your question, I wouldn't mind different versions available for everyone. Given notable features differentiating the two (appart from looks) would make the idea seem plausible.

ND Mallet -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:13:17)

Wasn't the Holiday Revontheus's considered UPd? Revonthurkey, Cupidtheus and Rudolptheus.

DeathGuard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:13:42)

@Mondez: In the future, let me lvl up my Sir Galahad to lvl 15, 1 more lvl to go and I'll fight your Abberant.

Mondez -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:14:29)

@Jmagician
Reading the last thread would be beneficial to find out what was going on I believe around from page 12 should be the start of it.

A sound reasoning a I do agree a change in look would make it still a VK though the original design would be perma rare. Though I have my concerns on, what if it is just a color change? Though I believe Nulgath might do it with maybe a little change in blade or armor, but still have the VK look with the original animations.

@ND
They may be UP now, but when CC comes out. Rev. Forms will be OP with the right cards.

Beck -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:18:58)

Perfect Example: Now that Neutralize has had its cost reduced, Revonthurkey is a very good and fun to play water character again. That was just one change; imagine how tough the Revs could be in the future!

@below
Revonthurkey xD

ND Mallet -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:19:02)

@mondez I know a lot of things will be better with Customization. I'm mainly asking about now so I can get more characters to beat the bosses with

Redingard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:21:52)

First thing I'm doing with CC: Pumpkin Lord, meet Neutralize. It is now your best friend.

Mondez -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:22:11)

@ND
Oh yeah, Rev.s are UP and I think one of the forumites beat SK with Rev Turkey. Lord Beck did I forgot. [:D]

ND Mallet -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:27:54)

I might pick Rudolptheus. Probably after my Ice Bat and FrostZard run.

Beck -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:33:21)

@ND Mallet
Good luck with that! Not that you'll need it, per say. The holiday Revs are surprisingly sturdy!

Now if only someone would do a boss run with Cupidtheus...

EpicCoconut -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:35:11)

@Prime: Don't know what happened to you but my game just glitched, still it was close and good game.

Labyth -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:35:32)

When i think of my rat this is what come to mind.
this is funny as heck i am not really a fan of this game but my friend of mine told me this was just like my rat.

PREPEARED TO BE MIND BLOWN

@Beck i could do cupidthous if you wish me to using the rat has pretty much taught me to use very character proficiantly without really ever spending time of it after all sadly to say every character has better cards then the rat.

Link quietube'd. ~Mallet

thanks mallet

hijinks -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread XCVIII - READ THE FIRST POST (3/6/2013 21:43:46)
