The Incredible Hulk -> Hybrid Armor (5/5/2013 9:53:41)

Bring back the old hybrid armor (Beta) where you can swap over the armors. That would give the mercenaries some advantage like the other classes. Mercenary are UP. I wouldn't change back to that class until it's balanced.

As much as I admire active skills in EpicDuel, unfortunately passive skills are not meant to be clicked. Otherwise it would be required as an active skill.

Though it might be weaker

Right now it gives 6 and 5

Your armor gives 5 and 5

For a total of 11 and 10 def/res

It it were to be an active core that gave +10 armor, then you would lose 1 defense

but you would also be able to stack both armors for a total of +20 def or res

and -1 defense is nothing :P

Supported because I think the older version of Hybrid armor was much more in terms of defense compared to its current form, but has been awhile since I remembered how it worked though it defended more than this current passive.

What does this even mean? Mercenaries don't have plasma bolt. Tech mages do.

@ale For mercs exclusively, you should be able to switch from def to resist...

His point is that they can't switch from one to the other so why should merc get this ability once again.

I'm pretty sure the reason a while ago they were switchable was because of cyber not having plasma armor. Now it won't really be possible with mineral and plasma with hybrid which is balanced. I personally think we should leave it as it is.

I would personally like HA to automatically fit your situation in the battle.
i.e
you have 20-24 def and 26-32 res.
HA detects that you have 22 avg def and 29 avg res. It then autobalances itself to give +8 to def and +2 to res.
Then you get malfed and now have 20-24 res. HA will autobalance again to give you +5 def and +5 res

We do need the old hybrid armor back though. Come on, Mercenaries are the UPest it the game. Atleast make them switch over there armors just for some advantages. Any class can beat mercenary except maybe support builds.

Did you know, split Hybrid was a player suggestion because it wasn't a true passive? To get Resistance, you needed to switch it thus wasting a turn. Currently, wasting a turn like that would turn out to be disastrous. Therefore, not supported.

Worst because..? With Hybrid Armors, you can get +1 more over players with PA/MA, as long as you split your defences on the Armor. Of course, it could be bad with Generator - especially if you want to get max HP or max EP outta it, but disregarding that (more cores will come), HA has advantage.

They changed HA because no one ever switched it except at low levels and you managed just fine at low levels anyways without switching.

1 more point means nothing and you don't wanted to make your build depend on core however you wanted distribute your in all the ways possible but with the armor split is hard to do.if you wanted to take advantaged of this passive you pretty much how to max it out unlike the other passive reroute level 7 is awesome even level 6 sometime is good, them you got blood lust leve 7 is good of course max is the best, and all the other passive armor are good at level 7 to up depending what kinda build you wanted to use.

all im saying is that the way armor is set up right now is a handicap for mercenary which is something they don't need right now

is not even about the switching it just better if they either make +13 dex or +13 res

i ussualy kill them, except when they have azael gun or they crit...sure i'm also a merc but that is just a fast build , doesn't mean we are UP neither that we are OP

This is raw suggestion and compromise.

What if mercenary can changed freely hybrid armor defence and resistance. Only 1 defence/resistance point must leave defence or resistance.


example
1 defence 10 resistance.
4 defence 7 resistance.
10 defence 1 resistance.

This allow more builds and give dex/tech. What you say this. good or bad.

Basically yes but this suggestion allow more freedoms to builds to mercenary.
merc can put little bit stronger tech or better dex. This is main purpose this suggestion
