Ichiyama22 -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (1/21/2014 12:58:11)

I remember when I first got my DL armor. I had just bought a Dragon Amulet, and I went straight to the late Lady Celestia to unlock my destiny. I admit, I haven't worn it in quite some time, but I remember it was pretty awesome. the Elemental attacks were a bit meh to me, but it was overall a dependable class.

D00MS -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (1/21/2014 13:46:35)

@above that was the old ones
You know we have seen a way to do two versions of the same thing based on books this past April with dragon rider would and mrithas npc is rocking the organal ccdl why not share the wealth and put the old ones bk on book 1 and keep these new ones in book three

Misa116 -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (1/27/2014 7:09:43)

@D00MS maybe we can even put a story behind the 2 different DL's, with the original the DL armour of the past (book 1-2) and the current DL being the 'improved' DL that changed whilst we were frozen.

Lord Ferret -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (1/27/2014 16:45:24)

I am one that uses DL occasionally and find it a great armor slow but its defense is up to scratch, the offensive section needs a lot of work though.
I find it a useful armor over all.

Chaosweaver Amon -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (1/27/2014 16:47:19)

Maybe have the current DL armor in book 1, and EDL for book 3? And maybe make it a bit stronger than the original? It is 28,000 extra gold after all, if my memory serves me correctly.

133spider -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (2/13/2014 19:30:19)

I have a great idea in mind.

Remove the shield from the Revamped DL and when the ability "scale" and/or "align" is activated it spawns a shield for you to wear during battle. When they are not activated the shield is removed leaving you shield-less.

DracoUltimus -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (2/14/2014 8:54:33)

Why not have the pre-revamp armor as an equippable armor you can buy after fully-training and/or unlocking each armor/upgrade? [:D]

D00MS -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (2/14/2014 17:58:09)

@amon/Misa/draco real good ideas on how to make the originals return
@spider also good idea though its not just the shield thats the issuie

Hooneymuffin -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (4/18/2014 11:11:04)

Animations are too flashy and overdone. Make it more simpler. Regen Mana, Healing and Scale for example, just look ridiculous.

Warmonger Starsaber -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (4/18/2014 20:32:25)

Amazing survival abilities have won me most boss fights and the low mana moves really do help. I wish it could be buffed a bit for Damage. With the right build it's an amazing class. the color code is still there but whatever. All in All an amazing class.

dragon_writer -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (4/18/2014 23:05:25)

I really like the Dragonlord Class, espcially how you have the HP/MP healing stuff...very good for boss battles.
But I really hate how slow it is for normal battling. It takes at least twice as long to defeat a monster than, say, one of the Atrean classes (for me, Cryptic). And half that is because of all the really-cool-looking-but-slow animation stuff.

YeOldTurnip -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (5/11/2014 16:03:43)

Maybe to go in line with the other offensive suggestions, a skill could be added that would actually give them the ability to harness the power of a dragon for a few turns, making them more offensively powerful. If we made room for 2 more skills by condensing the DOTs, we could replace one of them with a dragon-themed buff.

What element would fit an offensive skill though? I would think that the one dragon we haven't aligned with: void dragons. Even if it's the purer power of the Creatioux, void dragons have power.

Azan -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (5/12/2014 7:00:06)

If DragonLord gets powerful offensive skills in addition to the powerful defensive skills it already has, it'll be way too OP. Remember that the Atrean classes have very good offenses (and, for Cryptic, good defenses) but no healing at all. DragonLord is made for longer, thougher fights.

TotalHavok114 -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (9/29/2014 16:29:53)

I like that the Dragonlord class is essentially a "walking tank" with some really awesome defensive skills that are very effective when grinding through long quests or facing bosses with huge amounts of health(Such as the healing and mana regen skills which always save me from needing to use potions after long battles).

Though it is classed as a mainly defensive class, it still has fairly decent offensive attacks to keep the skillset mixed up a bit such as the three elementally locked skills that unlock the Dragonheart skill which can usually take down enemies with low enough health.

In short: I really like this class and hope that it will only get better.

RKC -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (11/14/2014 23:05:34)

The one thing I would want this armor to have is to make the 2 hit skill have a 100% 2 hit skill.

I hate it when it says 50% chance to do double damage. It should be 100%

133spider -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (11/15/2014 0:06:08)

Truth be told, the shield alone on this class discourages me from using it... lol

Tatparjya -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (11/15/2014 4:35:05)

Any informetion on when they are going to revamp dragonlord ?

Azan -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (11/15/2014 9:56:03)

DragonLord is already revamped, the only thing Ash will do is a bit of tweaking to make it the great defensive class it's supposed to be. I think that will come soon, but he didn't specify any time.

VJ -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (11/15/2014 10:02:06)

one of the things I enjoy about the DLA is that it has all most all of the elements included, air, energy, darkness, fire, Light, & ice which represents almost all of the elements that are connected to the dragons.

I wish they was able to include earth/nature & water element skills into the armor. after all the DL represents the dragons and the Dragons represent their own elements.
and its because of that is why I like how our armor has key element skills.

@ RKC
seeing as the double and triple attack skills use no MP like all the other classes do I can let that slide as its nice that you don't have to pay to use those skills.

Sflamin -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (3/5/2015 15:50:48)

Are there any plans for the DL update yet?

Ash -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (3/5/2015 15:57:12)

Plans, yes. A "here's what I messed with" date, no. There will be no eta due to other more pressing release plans.

maikeru216 -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (3/17/2015 0:16:07)

So Im just gonna be honest here I love the idea of the Dragonlord class BUT I am kinda disapointed by the fact that its not as great as Doomknight I mean its the like the iconic class or something like that lol what I mean is I think it shouild be at the very least able to keep up with Doomknight.

megakyle777 -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (3/17/2015 0:31:24)

No. No it really should not. Doomknight is on a higher level of power then literaly ANYTHING else in game. Nothing else can compare, nor SHOULD it. Dragonlord is a beast defensively and "merely" lacks a bit more offensive power, if that. I suggest trying to play defensively with DL.[;)]

Plus if Ash heard you want to buff something, ANYTHING, up to Doomknight levels, he'd feed you to Loneliest Akriloth and call it a day. 0-0

Branl -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (3/17/2015 16:41:21)

^Pretty much.
You need to have paid 100 bucks to even get the class (85 if you wait 2 years w/o buying any part of the package)
There shouldn't really be any class on par with it.
Especially considering Sepulchure kicked our butts to Kingdom Come and back.

Alm Nullamors -> RE: =DF= DragonLord Discussion Thread (3/17/2015 18:58:58)

Honestly, DragonLord is such a fun class for boss battles. Up there with the classic Necromancer.
I find that the Mirror Eye Trinket works well with the class as it lacks a way to power up. It's a decent way to at least make it passable on the offensive side and gives DH a nice kick.
It's also too hilarious when people battling one with a Doom or Destiny Weapon get affected by the DoT and take DH right afterwards. XD
