Hiya DragonFablers!

You wanted more various threads of discussion about Classes and we listened! This week and every week following, we will be introducing a thread for every class in DragonFable.

This thread: All things Kathool Adept Armor.
Now for the rules of this thread:

  • All =AE= Comprehensive Forum Rules apply.
  • The "All Classes" thread will remain pinned to the top of the forum until all the current class threads are released.
  • There will be a Class Directory stickied to the top of the forum once a few class threads are active for quick locating.
  • On suggestions: The DragonFable staff offer specialized suggestion threads from time to time and you may post your suggestions when those events occur.
  • Please keep discussions to the Kathool Adept armor.

    the armor is the second most powerful armor in game. pure power high mana cost its perfect.

    Kathool Adept, this has been my favourite armour for farming for a long time now. only back when Riftwalker got released, I swapped it as my saved class since Riftwalker looked cool AND was strong.
    Nonetheless, I still see KAA as one of the strongest armours (Doomknight not counted) in Dragonfable. Only when fighting monsters resistant to water, you are better of with a different class.

    It's base 100% boost already gives it the edge in most fights compared to other classes. And his final skill is so ridiculous you just have to like it.

    It was also the very first DC only class (Chickencow is still obtainable in the free way :p) which was revolutionary. Like most classes, I like it and is cool :p

    I dislike this armour... I can't use it well :) - - - Yes, I dislike it because I suck at it xD!

    Other than that, I enjoy its make. One of the only 3 floating classes, and based off the Kathool incident. Story-line based armours, like KAA and EnTropy, which are based off our enemies, are something I rather like. Learning from the hardest of enemies we face is something that I think is a great addition and very welcome to the game... and I just love the thought of floating in place rather than being ground-bound xD!


    And despite my lack of skill and ability with this armour, from what I've seen/heard from others it appears to be VERY strong. :)

    It is one of the most powerful classes ( i havent seen doomknight yet) and looks awesome too...
    The crits are powerful and very good for farming.
    At lv 58, this is the only class where i can hit a crit of 2000+ (without having any elemental advantage over the enemy)

    I definitely love this class compared to entropy and pyromancer.

    Prior to DmK, it's been one of my most favourite DC purchases. Farmed with it for days on end :D

    Kathool Adept was my first Dragon Coin Class, which I purchased when I tried and failed to defeat Eric Greydawn in PvP.
    Then I started using it in wars, and the stars aligned. :)

    It is a really interesting Class. I would never call it a defensive Class by any means- enTropy is by far superior in that regard- but its Healing and Blind Skills make it pretty formidable in Boss Fights. It is a neat and comparatively well-rounded Class, with the only other Class coming close in terms to tactical flexibility (In my opinion) being DragonLord.

    Just picked it up yesterday to fight the Baron.
    It took a few fails to get the feel for the class, but once I did, it was a cake-walk.

    I love this class now.

    Wouldn't have had my precious Ravenloss Warmonger Scythe without this class.

    It's got a very massive offence with little to no consideration of self preservation... sorta like a watered down Doomknight. But it's still very effective... even with the elemental limitations it has compared to the other DC classes. I might consider rebuying it "just cause" to be honest.

    i honestly love this class. one of my favorites, it helped me beat mana crest and MG. even timekiller couldn't do that so i applaud KA.

    Mana costs are ridiculous. KAA needs to be a little more "normal"

    I never really got the trick to using this class. I don't know why, just every time I tried it out, I couldn't make it fit my intrests. Well, that and the mana costs, but that's not a huge factor; every class's got its flaws. Maybe I'll buy it again (since I sold it quickly after purchase) sometime, but not until I become a better strategizer.

    One of my favorite classes with absolute and pure killing power but it is a mana leacher which makes me not like the class for that one reason !
    It rivals my other class-time killer but time killer lacks the killer attitude of the kathool adept but I like both in different ways !

    Strong class, fun to use.

    Only complaint i have about it is that the floating has the habit to block up dialogue.

    Actually, comparing it with other classes (particularly enTropy) the mana costs are typical. There is only one skill which is higher in mana costs than average so all in all - not bad. Not bad at all.

    I also used this class before I got DmK. In fact, I still use it fairly often when replaying some quests using different armors. Sometimes I'll even war with it. (If I have time I like to switch out armors every 100 waves)

    OK lets see, second strongest armor in game, is not far behind DMK as I was expecting it to and it costs less than a 10th of the cost of DMK. whats not to love!!!.........Actually there is a lot not to love: boring animations, ultimate mana eater and terrible looks(sorry if im offending anyone)

    I only like the power but nothing else.

    but at least the NSoD goes well with it

    Not only is it fun to wear, But the Kathool adept armor probably has my most favorite dialogue line that we get to say.

    "You. Cannot. Resist."

    It took me a couple of tries but it really did a decent job of finally taking down the Baron. A superb class and i'm proud to own it.

    Ok that dialogue is pretty cool and the immense power does make up for the horrible look and boring animations but I still do nit like it . yes, I do use it but only for the power and that's it. I really don't like the armor but the only reason I have it is because I do not have DMK

    A fantastic class. 2nd most powerful class in game. good for shot battles. insanely powerful final. whats not to love, lots of things: looks, it is not mp efficient and other things. Im not a big fan
