PaladinKell -> (DF) The Legend of Emily (11/23/2013 14:49:37)

“What is this place?... What am I doing here?... Will I ever see my family again?... Where could my true love be?... So many questions to ask, yet the ignorance ever remains in my mind... I’ve got to find the answers, somewhere in this world…”

Standing at a remote cliff was a beautiful girl, apparently in her adolescent years. She had smooth, long, straight, caramel-brown hair, combed with much carefulness. She donned a white robe of holy radiance, given to her by the High Priest of Vanindel, the greatest kingdom of her origin world. The robe was customized with pink highlights, suited to the princess’s fashion and style. After all, what more could a lavished and clever princess want? And lastly, this mysterious girl’s name is Emily.

Emily was contemplating to herself about how she entered this strange, new world and how she missed her family back at her home world. All she could remember from that moment was a great violet flash. Her parents, the King and Queen of the greatest kingdom of her home world, were screaming with grief in the middle of a bloody war. The screaming. That was the only memory of her parents she could remember at the moment.

Suddenly, a terrifying red dragon soared through the sky. Emily shivered in fear of being a dragon's special appetizer. However, the dragon stooped, revealing a mysterious young lady much like herself and a small Moogle-like thing, called a Moglin on his back. The lady's name is Lady Celestia, a powerful mage. And the Moglin's name is Twilly. Cute little guy he is.

Emily escorted her priest friend and Twilly to Oaklore, but they encountered a grotesque between gorilla and elephant in the way. With the help of the red Moglin, Emily managed to defeat the hideous beast. Lady Celestia came to thank the princess for saving her, but Twilly blurted out that she already knew. That effectively made Emily blush hard.

As the priestess and the Moglin disappeared into the shadows, Emily's stomach suddenly rumbled. "Hmm, I'm sure these folks have some food here." And she darted to Sir Loin's place. She bought a whole turkey pie and gobbled it up. As she belched loudly and patted her satisfied stomach, lots of the inn people gave her surprised looks. Emily smiled, "What?! At least I'm enjoying this lovely food!"
