The berserker killer -> Poison should be dealt on a % of total hp (5/10/2014 2:13:34)

Poison should be dealt on a % of total hp, not by a fixed damage ratio, because of two reasons.

1) Poison tends to be such an underpowered skill that, I feel, has not been fully tapped into because it has little to no use on high hp targets.

2) By making it based on a % of hp it will give classes who decide to use poison, especially bounty hunters, a chance against the current High Hp high Str builds

Not supported.

Poison was designed to take out tank players who spam defenses and use low health. It was made weak against high HP builds as a form of counter. Your suggestion would be removing one of the counters to this.

This would also overpower strength poison builds Especially the toxic grenade TLM since they will not only be able to get high damage output with strength but will also get more damage with Toxic grenade since it will be literally eating through high HP builds due to this change.

Ohhh, true. That's a viable argument. I was hoping to find a way to make poison more useful against high hp builds.

Poison actually cumulatively does tons of damage, probably more overall than maxed-out skills like bunker, plasma cannon, even plasma bolt (unless healed against during the duration). High HP builds were previously one of the only counters to it.
