My Name is Jake -> Credit boost for players missing gear in battle. (9/30/2014 18:44:57)

I suggest giving players a 50% credit increase from battles for every piece of gear they are missing.

A player without a sidearm, auxiliary and robot would get 150% more credits to help them get the gear they are missing faster.

The same could also be done for cores. For every core you don't have in a battle you could get 30% more credits from a battle.

The goal of this suggestion is to help players who are missing gear get the gear they are missing faster. What do you guys think?

Supported for gear, because it'll work in multiple ways. If you don't have any gear you gain it faster. If you do have gear but enter with it unequipped, then it's still a challenge to win if you're missing a piece. This could arguably be manipulated when NPC farming but IMO that's really boring anyways and people should be rewarded for wasting their time killing 100 NPCs every day.

Not for cores though. Pretty much only an armor active is really a "necessity".

Not supported.

Seeing as this could be manipulated easily when fighting NPC. If I were to go into a battle with a NPC coreless I would be able to get 240% more credits for every win I get due to the fact that you can equip up to 8 cores for a full set of gear and those on most bosses aren't really needed.

Not to mention that 240% bonus is not even including the actual rewards if you won coreless. For every win against a NPC I would get up to 340% credits which is a lot. Then factor in power hour and credits boosts and you have a huge gain of credits against these NPC.

If this went into play it would cause major inflation which will hurt those who don't use this.

If this was only for PvP battles, as well as only for gear, then supported.
Like Mother1 said, the boost from the cores alone (Or lack thereof) is 240%, which is an insane increase. A 150% increase is still pretty high, but you'd have a much more challenging time without weapons/robots than without cores.

@ Jacobfarrow1

Even if they did this at lower levels this would be highly abused due to the insane credits amounts they would get a lower levels.

You have no cores at lower levels and everytime you won without them you could get up to 240% boosts on top of normal credit boosts and this is if the person is fully equipped without cores. Let's not forget at those levels most players don't have robots or need them. This would make some lower levels extremely rich real quick which would cause inflation for all due to it.

NPC would be more an issue for higher level players due to them being beatable without cores and possibly the robot depending on your build.

Say hello to more people using the fast death build! (all stats in energy with no aux/gun)

That's right. With this system you'll get more credits from losing with only your primary than from winning with full gear.

There are missions that give free sidearms, auxes etc. so this really isn't necessary. If anything, you shouldn't be allowed to enter pvp without full gear...

@zion Agreed.
