tech shaman -> The life binder and the world shaper (12/31/2014 14:38:41)

The lifebinder, one of lore’s most ancient unseen forces, played a huge part in the creation of many forms of life on lore. The life binder shaped life during its most basic stages of evolution, and again during the dawn of magic, to guide some of the balancing forces into creation. The life binder has golden arclight wings with a fancy ring of light in between. He wears a golden naval suit with fancy glowing sigils on the shoulders and across the chest, beneath a glowing golden medallion. The life binder also wears a bright glowing battlecrown with a long white beard, thick and full of life. His skin is pale because he comes from a planet without much sunlight.
Long before the life binder there were cosmic deities capable of shaping the fabric of reality with nothing but their sheer will. These deities were called world shapers and one day a world shaper called Arcadea started a war between the whole of the world shaper race. The casualties were catastrophic. Whole solar systems were obliterated in the crossfire and new ones filled with magic replaced them as the world shapers died and their final will exploded forth into reality. Most of these dying deities created terrifying worlds that perhaps someday heroes of lore could explore. But the final showdown was on lore. A purely good world shaper and the purely evil world shaper which started the war were in their final confrontation. With each strike the world shapers turned valleys into mountain ranges and tore mountains in half. Finally the evil world shaper, Arcadea managed to deal a fatal blow but instead of creating whole worlds with his final will, the good world shaper, Gokaidon fastened his grip on Arcadea and created a powerful prison out of a magical amber gemstone. There was also a pedestal of white crystal standing before the imprisoned deity, and on that pedestal was the source of the life binder’s power and wisdom.
It wasn’t until centuries had passed when the life binder crash landed in the crystal fortress and stumbled upon the gemstone filled with the fallen deity’s will and life. Upon touching the stone the life binder learned the story of the deities. The life binder learned the secrets of the glowing gemstone and the power it could give him. He also learned that he should guard the imprisoned deity at all costs. The life binder made the mistake of falling in love with a wayward adventurer and turning to a life of adventure. In his absence a powerful lunar lich syphoned massive amounts of energy from the imprisoned deity and the amber imprisoning him and storing it in a soulstone forged sword, shrinking Arcadea’s form and allowing him slight mobility while weakening the barrier enough for him to scratch his way through it. The power from Arcadea turns the soulstone blade black with malicious power. The life binder gets wind of this after the wizard is long gone, and seeks the help of lore’s greatest heroes in this dire time. The heroes search far and wide, talking to various big names of lore like artix, gravelyn, dage, and finally the lich himself. Instead of giving the hero the weapon, the lich sends him on several wild goose chases in an attempt to buy time so he could unlock the power he syphoned. It isn’t until Arcadea himself shows up that the lich finally realizes he could never unlock the power because he lacks the will. The lich tries to slay Arcadea with the weapon but only succeeds in handing him the weapon. Upon syphoning the weapon Arcadea returns to full power and obliterates the lich and the weapon.
Now the hero is forced to put together the remains of the weapon after Arcadea raises an army of shadows, and they scurry off with the pieces. The shattered remains of the soulstone cleaver are now an amber color, and filled with the only power that could bind a deity. The hero must practice alongside the life binder and to master the power of the amber soulstone cleaver after it’s fully repaired and enhanced through several forms of complex magics. Finally the hero has been guided by the life binder far enough, and is ready to face a deity world shaper. In this final battle the hero gathers all the friends he could muster and together with the amber soulstone cleaver, they manage to take down the deity, Arcadea. Upon destroying Arcadea, the hero runs away, being forewarned of the effects of a world shaper’s death. After watching from a safe distance, a massive obsidian tower forms, and inside, a powerful black amulet that only a truly worthy evil could obtain, called the death binder amulet. After all is said and done the life binder finds the hero more worthy of the life binder title and offers him the life binder amulet. Only a truly worthy good hero could use the life binder amulet. With the life binder amulet or the death binder amulet the hero could materialize a powerful healing class and matching weapons, capes, ect. out of sheer willpower.
