At one point in time it did counter Necrosis that is until it was reported. But hey that was the rule they made curiously of the Azreal borg used to being a counter to the bio borg before it was removed. You might luck out and they may eventually change their mind about this seeing as I have seen some things they originally said no to one day only for them to change their minds sometime later.
But still even if it can't work on robot based specials, at least it can cleanse all other debuffs unlike it's counterpart bot.
