This came a little late because I was busy in real life...but the thread for the latest war is up! It's the battle of the hackers, and the stakes are the highest they've ever been. The victor will take control of the Dragonoid-destroying device - a weapon capable of fending off a planetary threat could prove a game-changer in the endless Legion-Exile conflict.

Legion's unexpectedly taken a considerable lead and held on to it consistently, with a comfortable 140,000 point gap at this point. This is probably because Nemesis and other big Exile spenders have decided to give their bank accounts a break after the latest gift mania.

Nonetheless, Legion, it would be folly to let up - Exile may just turn the tides when salaries are paid at the end of this month. It's absolutely imperative to pursue good strategy - Legion, target the health objective. The standard objective, which is the last thing we should target, is significantly damaged. This is inexcusable and we must rally to focus our attention on the health objective first.

Isn't the Health Objective functioning in reverse?

That's a typo. In actuality it's clearly losing damage as it loses health.

Because it seems fitting, I'd advise you guys complete today's Daily Missions. It's one of the new chains I've written a couple of weeks ago, and the final reward is War Commander core. ;)

Exiles are actually hoping legion stays ahead so we can abuse the war rallys and get a ton of inf. So keep it up

I was liking the new missions until I got to the PvP battles, then I just gave up.

Just realised that I can't even use War Commander as I have a locked passive primary core xD

Well if the prize is only some weapon with no core, 10k creds (which is just enough to buy a core) and 10 arcade tokens (which you are likely to get all bronze on) then forget it. Might as well get as much personal gain from influence as possible. A real war system would have a limitless tier for hardcore players, a real prize would be 100k creds, 20 war commanders and a weapon with a permanent core (whether it be a gun with the permanent +6 core, or a sword with a permanent war commander, or an armor with a core that increases war drop %). Now those are real prizes that make it worth playing a war and actually wanting to win

@Killer It's wishful thinking at best. Only reliable incentive there is a regional influence and that is too little. I don't enjoy PvP anymore, at its worst it is like enemy has "I win button" enabled and I'm just here for the ride. Same goes vice versa. It is so hard nowadays to get a normal battle with no interference from RNG. I try adjusting builds, making new ones, but that is enjoyable only till I get smashed by RNG again. Since this is supposed to be a war thread, then I might as well say: make drops at higher percentage. Hardcore players have war commander equipped anyway, so it will make little difference. And an observation: war is on for a week (or two?) and from the way things are going I estimate it will take over a month to finish. Since there were no updates or DN's as of yet, will there be nothing new till war ends?

Remember the gifting if you were in it gave players war commanders and some people held onto those because of RNG. I had gotten over 20 war commanders due to gifting and I just used them to get to the 5K mark and now I am holding off until the next war.

The reason why this war is so long is the following

1) Unlike the others this war has a much and I mean much higher health bar
2) Unlike the other wars there are less players in this due to many being upset of certain things.

@Mother I'm going for 5k too, and will take a break after I reach it. I was in the gifiting, gave a lots, received over 200, but no luck in arcade for void spirit, thus no shop. Frankly, contributes lots to boredom when u see everyone in void armor, looks like battling an npc... I just need a break I guess.

this is the first war since the overlord facility war which there is no neck to neck and all damage is result of war items (there is no more thousands of influence suddently appearing every 2 mins), also the first war 2.0 where a side recover the ahead after keep losing with a huge gap (the legion reach 600k ahead)

I think it's because many legion players rely on varium, so when they run out of upgraded war items they don't play as much.

@Fame Looks like the whales stayed on exile all along... I do appreciate them waiting a couple weeks because those war rallies netted me 6k influence in the first week of casual 2v2.

I think you didn't see the leaderboards, where top 2 players on the lbs of exiles have almost 500k influence, by battling, haha, I think not.

@JOP Sorry, but legion 1st and 2nd place (ConQrR & Variation) only use War Commander and have ONLY been doing battles. They haven't bought any bombs from the looks of it. Also, being In there faction; even if they ran out of "upgraded war items" they would still play as there on everyday.

Well, maybe it's different this time, but that's my experience from past wars. I wish the war wasn't so dependent on varium anyway, no matter who's winning.

Speaking as a Legion battler (and currently in the sergeant status) for this war, I have to politely disagree with you Jop. I've used zero varium in this war and still have managed to help the legion do some damage.

In the past, I thought the Legion had used more varium, but yes, there is a very clear imbalance in this one in favor of Exiles.

Legion has a war rally so if you are legion I suggest you get in there and earn some extra influence
