Junior Design Notes

This Friday, since there is no planned release, we will be activating a Power Weekend! Double XP and Credits all weekend! If that's not enough to get you excited, we are also planning a restock of all Limited Quantity items Friday at 10 AM EST!
Why no release? Partially, it's to prepare for the upcoming Wasteland War, develop new missions, and the topic below.

Super Seekrit Announcment
As often happens when we announce something extremely vague in this space, rampant speculation abounds! The best rumor I saw was that Rabble announced his wedding. This was surprising to him! He didn't even know he was getting married! It's a good thing the rumor mill on the forum let him know so he can order a cake!
In all seriousness, though, the actual announcement is coming next week. PREPARE! It has nothing to do with a wedding.

No war, alright, no update, alright, the whole spring break is wasted, alright, no announcement, alright. But no balance update, this is something that will never be alright. This is just confirms more and more my "what so called speculations" by ED team is true. No one is testing the game, and frankly if tomorrow they didn't fix the 20 quadzillion str player you face in PVP. I'm out.

@Machaar Well the DN already says no release for tomorrow so I wouldn't hold my breathe on a super secret release balance or otherwise

And even though I'm pretty sad that there wasn't something exciting in ED for this spring break, I can't stop laughing at the wedding joke [:D]

The DNs say there is no release - just Power Weekend and a restock - which is activated without resetting the servers. No balance update was mentioned, anyway, so no, there isn't one.

The big announcement is them remaking the game from scratch or its them shutting the game down and or not making updates for it anymore. Calling it right now. (sadly)

Power Weekends are always magnanimous and much appreciated. ^^ LQS restocks are as well, of course; there are always people who have an eye on limited-quantity items.

I have to say the prospect of the announcement is exhilarating, if nothing else; once again, though any update would be nice, something pertaining to the improvement of balance -- either directly or indirectly -- would be most beneficial.

stop of made this pressure on devs about "balance", in you case balance means only nerf/remove the legendary ranks. actually there is no obvious oped classe or build and the game currently in the most balanced point that i know.

what should be in the focus now is how to do updates good enough to bring new players to the game, instead waste time with... you know.

do you would like if someone decide to make a surprise in a game which you play and have a high lv? this is why there is bad releases that made alot of players quit, if was said what will be released and give the players a pool, this sure could be better. when the devs reach 100% sure that will release anything then is too late, and the announcment does not matter anymore.

If the announcement has nothing to do with ED, why bother tease ED players?
So speculations about the end of ED is true, ED team is no longer working on ED, they are working on Biobeasts.

When did they say they were ending Epicduel? They said Titan, Nightwraith, Charfade, Rabblefroth, and several guest staff would still be working on ED.

Including on why BioBeasts are a thing, move to Unity, and what it means for the future projects AND EpicDuel alike. Devs are still working on ED.

The only really unfortunate thing is that they're not planning a browser version, so I won't be able to play it anytime soon.
