Since everyone has been focusing on how to balance skills, i'm going to suggest a new approach.
What if we made battles LONGER and increase the REWARDS by increasing base health and mana.

For example, base health/mana right now is around 600.
Credit rewards (against same level) is 37, Exp is 12.

We could increase base health to 1500 and energy to 900
Credit- 52 Exp-22
The advantages of this:
-less of a luck factor in duels.
-not as easy to shut down every build with the use of 1 skill.
-Could potentially lead to new builds (more health/mana allowing for more time to strategize attacks)
-WILL bring special skill builds back; since mana/time plays a huge factor in using these skills.

Thoughts and concerns?

i dont think that would be a good idea, making the battle longer is boring--for me, as of now as a TLM im having an average of 13-18 rounds since im focus tech build.. also this would be favorable to str abusers since having a high HP is a must to them..and you dont just increase HP and Energy without considering other factors such as each skill dmg progression so in order to do this i think they need to change lots of things in battle balances.

If by having less impact you mean making Dex, Tech, and Support even weaker while buffing strength since it doesn't rely on any of those then you are right.

This may buff strength, but it also buffs energy-oriented builds. One of the main reasons strength is overpowered is because you can use it's damage every round or free. While energy-oriented builds have 2 flaws: Can't use every round, and consume around 25%-50% of your mana (for a good one). Increasing health is actually beneficial to other builds, not just strength. Strength builds power comes from quickly crippling your opponent, with more health it makes it way harder to cripple an opponent in a matter of 2 rounds.

And I did take skills into consideration. Keeping them the same is the point. If your increase damage scaling/draining scaling, all we're doing is inflation.

The main reason people call on 'luck factor' is 1 block/crit could cost anyone the match.
