didn't get the reasoning when it happened, it doesn't make sense to me since it's a stratergy game.. you have nothing to show for XD

Questions belong to ED Q&A forums, not general discussion.

On topic: it has been discussed and explained many times before (loses are not shown in game for quite a while now) so please read older posts on that topic before posting again.

^ Like he said, this belongs in Q&A, but I won't go all forum mod on you like he did.

I think the reason they changed it was because some players found their % to be discouraging, and this would cause them to actually stop battling so no one would see their %. Also, I've seen players get ridiculed because of their Win/Loss ratio. So that might have been another contributing factor.

thanks for actual info^.
yeah i gathered that, but people were also proud of them. if they made a poll more players would choose to keep it then not

Satafou -> RE: why did they remove losses from showing? (5/12/2015 7:12:30)

People were getting "cyber bullied" for having a bad win ratio, so now we have people with bad win ratio's claiming they are the best player in the game.

Lord Machaar -> RE: why did they remove losses from showing? (5/12/2015 7:40:57)

Removing losses was a bitter sweet decision.
Before Omega, old players like me, and many actually, cared a lot about win ratio, I had 20k 1vs1 wins and 2k losses, 3k 2vs2 wins with 600 losses, 5500 jugg wins for 174 losses. In a nut shell, back then ratio meant everything, we were doing the impossible to win the battle, using OP builds, doing a small number of battles to main full concentration, quit the game if it is imbalanced, ratio in other words was related to how much pro you are.

After the removal of losses, I found difficulties at first, but then I just dropped down the ideal win ratio idea and go myself a good 2k losses for 3500 wins, that's because I preferred to do pvp battles, at rank 1, after 1 year and half of quitting and with awful weapons. But atleast it was more fun for me than NPCs, and if losses weren't hidden I wouldn't probably play the game ever again in such imbalanced situation.

Hiding losses comes with prices also, we see now botters that gain more credits and exp than you just by losing the game.

The quitting the game thing you said makes me think that's the reason >.>

The Jop -> RE: why did they remove losses from showing? (5/12/2015 13:35:38)

It was because of the bullying. The community is so nasty that they'll insult others for literally anything.

Battle Elf -> RE: why did they remove losses from showing? (5/12/2015 15:42:50)

In the future, direct questions about EpicDuel should be posted in the ED Q&Aboard.

Since this change is not a topic for discussion, I'm going to lock this thread up.

Thanks,
