This is just a short thing I decided to write.
I haven't got too far into MechQuest but I felt like writing this so sorry if there are inconsistencies and sorry if it's a bit vague.
Mother, Father, I've finally enrolled into GEARS University, just like you've always wanted.
It isn't as fun as I expected, but I feel comfortable here, I can't get bored or complain about this, after all, this is all that I've ever wanted.
The trip was shorter than I expected. We stopped by a station to get our supplies, I was sleeping then, and when I woke up I was at the university.
I remember hearing a little bump while I was sleeping though, then I had a really strange dream, but like usual, I can't remember what I dreamed about.
Though after the dream...I felt kind of numb.
After that, we had to go through the piloting exams, the examination's units were much tougher than you told me they were, but maybe they changed them out, in any case, I had no trouble defeating them. A few of my friends failed the exam though, they were really injured when I saw them getting carried off to the nurse. I haven't seen them ever since, I hope they're okay....though if they were bad pilots then that's their fault I guess.
The lessons here are very tough, we rarely get to fight the weak (but admittedly well made) Shadowscythe units, but they pit us a lot against the more powerful units the better pilots use.
I can barely feel anything anymore after what I went through during those lessons...but, now I'm ready for my first task.
Mother, Father...are you proud of me? I've already got my first mission, I'm sure the teachers are even more proud. I'm currently in space, I'll eliminate all the Shadowscythes here, I won't let them live even if they disarm...
Is that...Mother's mecha? No...it's a Shadowscythe...I was just feeling dizzy...I guess....
