Page freeze for a few minutes (Full Version)

So a few days ago, I noticed that the Weapons Sorted By Power page in the DF Forums hangs for a few minutes. It started after I installed a Battery Saver application, but today, it got annoying so I decided to uninstall that application, but the page still hangs. This doesn't happen with any other website or Forum page. Any suggestions on what to do?

EDIT: By hangs, I mean it loads a part of the page, then it just freezes. I can't click on any link that's in page. I can close the tab but it only closes about 2 minutes after I click the X on the tab to close it.

The reason for that might be that it's a very heavy(and long) page filled with links. I find it loading just fine on both my phone and laptop. Have you tried clearing your cache...?

This wasn't happening before though. I've tried clearing my cache, yeah. I even tried reinstalling Chrome, but I still get the problem.

The help-page from Google Chrome should help: Webpage doesn't open or fully load.

It's not that it doesn't load. It loads, but only after a few minutes. The page freezes for about 5-15 minutes.

If it loads fully after 15 minutes, then I believe it's just a matter of your Net connection being slow. After all, like I said, the page is very heavy and filled with content.

For good measure, disable all the extensions to increase the quality and speed of your connection. You can do that from the Settings option of Google Chrome.

I hope your problem gets resolved.

It does seem to take a bit longer then some pages 3 to 6 seconds for me compared 1 or 2 for AQ's Weapon Index Alphabetical . It's a lot of content for one page without question but a 5 to 15 minute load time tells me it's not just the page either.
