Rewards for being on Leaderboards (Full Version)

How about adding small rewards for those on leaderboards?
Example:

For daily LB:
1- 1000 credits, 1 arcade token
2- 500 credits, 1 arcade token
3- 250 credits, 1 arcade token
4 and the rest- 100 credits

For All-time LB: (Once in a week)
1- 10000 credits, 10 arcade token
2- 5000 credits, 5 arcade token
3- 2500 credits, 2 arcade token
The others- 1000 credits, 1 arcade token

Well it's just an example, this way people would want to be on leaderboards to get extra credits (or any other prizes for devs choice, main thing in suggestion is to give them rewards)

That would be sweet. Supported. To back-it-up, level 1-40 gets free credits for leveling up, why not 40+ gets some credits too. (Although it would be nice if they gave free credits when you rank up too)

as @8x said but i would support all-time only if the prize was given twice a year but double or triple the amount.

Weekly, monthly... being rewarded is already something that makes players want to be in the top. Why not all-time? The ones on all-time leaderboards that aren't playing anymore would probably be surprised if they come back with lots of messages like "Congratulations for being in all-time leaderboard, here's your (monthly/weekly/yearly) prize" and they'll be motivated to try staying there. Well, it's my opinion.

And they'll think it was worth all the effort to be in the top.

supported but yes the all time one should be awarded every year or so. but what about factions ?

All players in the faction get the cheevo when faction is 1st on LB, don't they? Then there should be a reward for all members too. How much? I leave it for the devs if they think of implementing it ever.

Supported for same reasons as stated above.

All-time would be... monthly I think? That seems the best.
