ksong300 -> thank you to the devs (3/20/2017 20:14:11)

This post might be cringy, but I dont see any other way around.

I have been playing epic duel since it first came out. Ah the memories. I remember at one point a huge group of my friends (probably about 20) were all into Epicduel, and I remember sundays being filled with pvp. Over the Years, they began to stop playing one by one. At the end, it was just me. I remember how cool varium was back in the day, and how I spent so long to try and level up. I have to admit, I lost interest during Omega not because of the updates but because of the lack of players. I remember a time when Epic, Exile and legion were all full. I stopped playing last year when the player count was less than 150. i didnt think much of epicduel until today when i read the forums. It is such a shame that Biobeasts is underperforming, i believe that you guys put so much effort in that game, and deserves more than this. It seems you guys are not performing too well financially either. The world really sucks. People like the ED team are so underrated because you guys make such wonderful games, while other crap in the mobile industry is drowning in money. The games made by Artix Entertainment are truely unique, and there is so much to do. I just want to say thank you. Thanks for all the good memories. Thanks for the commitment of continuing to improve a game even when the player count is so low. Thank you for everything. Epicduel was and still is amazing, and I want you to know that this is a great game. Ignore the people saying "ugh, omega, I want Delta back," you guys did such a wonderful job and it is unfortunate that not everyone appreciates your sweat and tears. "nothing gold can stay," and Epicduel is included. We all know how amazing and unique this game is, however we all know that this game is dying. I believe that you guys are capable of producing better and more successful games in the future, and I will support you guys in any way necessary. Let epicduel and Biobeasts be your Omega Phase, a phase where when all seems to go wrong, but make the future be your Delta and Gamma phase, the golden times. I believe in you guys. It will not be easy, but remember all the loyal fans that are wiling to help. For now, i will continue to lose every single Jugg battle as support for this truly phenomenal journey and hopeful future.
Thanks again.

Thank you EpicDuel Team for really caring about the game. I know EpicDuel is not perfect but I also know you guys did everything you could for its success and that is by all means honorable. Take care everyone, and I wish the EpicDuel Team the best on future projects.

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: thank you to the devs (3/21/2017 1:14:40)

This game has had its ups and downs, but through it all it was clear that ED had a special place in our hearts. You just have to look at the number of posts in the ED forum - over 240,000, way more than any other AE forum and almost as much as the AQ and AQW forums combined. We've had rough times and disappointments, but ultimately we still loved the game. Here's a thank you to the devs for a wild ride, and I'm certainly looking forward to any new games in the works. Maybe even ED 2.0? [;)]

hello there -> RE: thank you to the devs (3/23/2017 12:42:36)

I struggle with this it kept me entertained once, But if I'm being entirely honest with myself , This game has never been averagely balanced

And always has fatal flaws

either p2w, mass seal clubbing , 2v2 has been pretty broken since beta, Juggernaut was implemented broken and remained so .... p2w was nerfed but still exists in core format just to a lesser degree....

Yes i will miss the game , And it kept me entertained once, But this fate was always where it ended , Mistakes were never learnt from, #They saw players leave with p2w nerfs, And assumed the problem was p2w nerf, It wasnt they were trying to please a tiny market opposed to a huge one, thus here we are....

But ill stop here

Long overdue

dfo99 -> RE: thank you to the devs (3/26/2017 21:06:03)

the player base remains stable at average 200 players online constantly, but it raise to 700-800 during events.

Exploding Penguin -> RE: thank you to the devs (4/3/2017 22:31:37)

I've deleted several posts from here. Keep your passive-aggressive comments directed against the devs, and the really-off topic stuff to yourselves, please. The forums aren't a place to bash the developers.

There were a couple posts that didn't make negative remarks about the devs, but they looked very out of context when I deleted the thread they were responding to, so they were removed mainly to keep discussion relevant. The offenders know who they are.

Please, keep discussion on-topic while also following forum rules. This thread is for talking about topics covered in the OP.

Daph Duck -> RE: thank you to the devs (4/10/2017 5:03:20)

hello there -> RE: thank you to the devs (4/10/2017 23:36:32)

probably soon.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: thank you to the devs (4/10/2017 23:55:24)

Shutting down most likely won't happen. Unplayable small player base is a different thing entirely but NPC's exist for a reason

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: thank you to the devs (4/11/2017 1:46:14)

Artix promised that no AE game will shut down as long as AE exists.

hello there -> RE: thank you to the devs (4/12/2017 14:41:22)

^ that promise will change if AQW continues to decline and artixes accountant phones him.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: thank you to the devs (4/12/2017 15:43:53)

People are more expensive than servers running a game without any development
