Nari -> Nothing to buy with Nova Gems (12/2/2017 4:56:06)

I brought the 6 star captain last year actually(must have got a bit too much of spare cash on hand but whatevers idk what I was thinking) [:o]

I think one of the clear problems is lack of stuff to buy with the premium currency ingame nova gems and I'm talking about good Mechs
since i effectively had gotten well 12000 nova gems over 6 accounts and got nothing to buy I brought the alpha wolf mech on one account for 1kNG cause it is kinda semi-decent and I was bored but its just an slight above average mech which suxx
On another I brought the Sepulchure mech for 2k but its clearly not the strongest mech ingame anymore
Then of course i tried to find another lvl 50 mech which is the ice mech one for 1kNG and just like the alpha wolf its above average but yea average

Game Imbalance:

1.The Frost Viking given free to all Star Captain for absolutely free literally have like an OP stun(like many turns) overpowering and beating any mech ingame easily and it scales to all levels too
Really makes the game even more imbalanced than it already is
2.Another problem is that free players are also still given access the birthday shop and tbh the birthday mech is preety darn good as well and is free, easy and cheap to get and all

FAQ'd to save from forum's auto-purge function. ~golden

Plank -> RE: Nothing to buy with Nova Gems (12/2/2017 12:49:39)

A lot of good Nova Gem mechas are seasonal, and sadly the seasonal releases can't be accessed right now in MechQuest, and we're not entirely sure if this will ever be changed. I would recommend buying the Zapping Mallet from Planet Zargon, that weapon is very powerful and when you pair it with Frost Viking's 4 turn stun and the head that resets cooldowns, you become virtually unstoppable.

Frost Viking is overpowered because the body special was supposed to have a 1% chance of activation, however it was released with 100% instead, and there haven't been any developers to change this.

Plasma Charge -> RE: Nothing to buy with Nova Gems (12/11/2017 19:37:28)

Generally I always found the best use for Nova Gems was buying extra slots for items and mechs.
Looking through my inventory most NG items I have are event items.
Aside from Nephyrisis Death Embrace from Necryptos I don't think there are really many non-rare NG items that I'd consider staple.
From Frostvale events Zorbo is of course a great item.

If I think of any other NG items else I'll add them here.

I assume that viking issue is only on the 3015 version as I don't recall it having been an issue with the original model.

*cough* Behemoth, Vadlic Black Knight, Shs Trog Star, Sea Rover Navigator, Decimator, Feral Alpha Wolf, Anni-Volt Spear, Void Infused Drakel Armor, Golden Katana, Shadowed Arthurain Lion NG, Draconiac Inferno Blade, Nova Guardian (if you are verified) , Super Boltron, Newbatron AnniVY3010, Dark Lord Mechula, Sepulchure of Doom, GlaDERP Security B, Blazing Steampunk N41, Milziiga Sniegapika - NG Complete, Yeti Leader, Birthday Newbatron, Knael Mamba, Hail Mecha, Jameson Amore, Jameson Vengance, Chaos Crusher, Supreme Master G, Dragon Spirit Form G, Valkyrie Prime NG, Candy Elf AC, Blizzard Harvestor NG, Jaunting Ranger, V-Stalker...

These are the best ones though to save you time :)
10. Hail Mecha
9. Vadlic Black Knight
8. Sepulchure of Doom
7. Blazing Steampunk NG41
6. Sea Rover Navigator
5. Valkyrie Prime NG
4. Supreme Jameson
3. Milziiga Sniegapika - NG Complete

Weapons wise... well there is Zorbo... Reaper Lens 50... rest is pretty meh to be honest. It might be worth your time doing to salvage mission for some of the better NG equipment.
AND if you don't mind being a bit cheeky you can visit someone's Star Ship and use their Traveller's Projector thingy. Here is someone you can visit 7592480. The shop has a few decent items...
