I understand that it's okay to nerf a hard challenge after some time has passed, in order for the less hardcore or less geared players to have a chance as well. Many other games do this, and it's fine.


However, just after a few days of releasing, the "Skalazar Challenge!" was MASSIVELY nerfed. I was disappointed to see one of the few interesting fights in the game that actually required some awareness and coordination... become completely destroyed.

The shields are way too weak now, and melt quickly to ONE player. It's so easy to kill one after the other in such short amount of time, that it's pretty much the same as carefully killing the 3 at once.
Not that it matters, because now, even if you ignore the shields completely, the boss is still super squishy. The damage absorption was likely nerfed as well as the boss health itself. The boss also barely deals damage you can pretty much ignore it (I think you can even solo it with guardian now).

To sum it up, players don't need to even CARE about the shields anymore, everyone just targets the punch-bag until it dies. It became just a mindless passtime while you grind the crafting materials.
...But at least, the amount of items dropped was increased. I do feel this change was necessary since the grind was too extensive. I guess now I don't have to fight a boring boss so many times.

The boss fight could have been made more accessible while keeping what made it interesting and fun. That was taken away even from the more casual/less-skilled players. We need more fights that involve a bit more of thought and strategy rather than simple whacking at an HP bar while staying in place.
This game is understandably less complex due to having mobile usability in mind, but that's no excuse to have it devoid of of ANY elements. Most of the combat in the game is essentially empty and unfun. This game some requires vast amounts of grind, which would be totally OK if the act of playing was engaging and provided a minimal amount of stimulus for you to react to.

I'm sorry for being harsh. I guess I have high expectations because you keep making the game better and better, it continues to deliver and surprise me with interesting, smart new things every time. It makes me sad seeing such things getting downgraded... :(
I really, REALLY, hope this is considered, so that this kind of blind nerf doesn't happen again in the future. Because the weakest point AQ3D has at the present moment (combat) can only stay like this so far until it becomes the reason for it's downfall. The gameplay is what keeps a game alive after all.

Same reason the Ultra Ak will probally be nerfed eventually. Because of the Trolls a Greifers in the challenge yelling at people to go mage or get out.

If eveyrone has to play a certain class to take on the boss or die both the boss and the class need to be rebalance I love mage and I'm sorry but there I said it.

Extreme Akriloth (and also other Akriloth modes) was already nerfed. Akriloth deals less damage, and the monsters he summons are easier to deal with.

But it wasn't surely because of the social aspect or the toxicity of players alone. As more and more players obtained everything they wanted from Akriloth and stopped joining, others would find it much harder to find a full group, sometimes even enough people to even beat it.

Well, you can barely solo phase 1 if you blow through HP pots, and you'll need to do that a LOT if you want his gear. Phase 2 is impossible alone. I have no problem with the nerfs.
