Basic Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ-1] 0. New Releases General information about new releases can be found on the DF Homepage and in the Design Notes. Recent changes and additions ingame will appear in the DF Encyclopedia as forumites gather the necessary information to create a new entry or to update an existing entry. Furthermore, in the link stickied to the top of the =DF= Q&A, there will be a link that gives details of what was released during the recent releases, and any notes of what was changed 1. Why does my character page say that I need 999999999 exp to level up? At the moment, there is a level cap set at level 60. When you reach this cap, the amount of experience required to “level up” becomes a number which is impossible to reach. No matter how much experience you obtain before this cap is raised, you will only level up by one level. You will also lose all of the remaining experience, making leveling up not so easy for those who have achieved the current level cap. 2. What's a DragonAmulet? How do you get one? What are the benefits? DragonAmulet, or DA, is a token that allows your character to control a Dragon in DragonFable and take possession and allow the use of many items which are otherwise restricted - DragonAmulets are purchaseable in-game tokens through https://secure.dragonfable.com/. The benefits are also listed on the DragonAmulet purchase link
- You can get one DragonAmulet for 19.95 USD or a DragonAmulet for all 6 of your characters for only 29.95 USD. Icemaster Yeti covers this here
3. DragonCoins (What are they? How can I get them? What can I buy with them? etc.) DragonCoins, or DCs, are a special form of currency that can be used to purchase a multitude of items and other extras. Since DragonCoins are rather hard to come across and are often purchased with real money, the items bought with them are often of a higher calibur than regular items. The merchant Cysero is rather fond of these coins - How can I get them? - DC's can only be purchased (for now) or won in a contest. You can buy them here for 9.95 USD per 2000 DCs. Also, for those upgrading to DA-Status there exists a great deal. If you want an extra 2000 DC's, you can pay 5 USD for them while purchasing your DragonAmulet. Icemaster Yeti covers further questions about this here. Furthermore, you may also have a chance to earn these interesting tokens through a run of Ballyhoo Ads or AExtras
- What can I buy with them? - Every item that requires DragonCoins can be found in the DragonCoin Items guide. In addition to these items, there are also special features and privileges that can be obtained via DC expenditure. Extra bag space, for example, can be bought in Cysero's Superstore of Savings. Simply speak with Cysero, click the "Bag Space" button, and buy up to 25 extra bag spaces for a grand total of 45 slots. The first 10 cost 100 DC's each, the next 5 cost 300 DC's each, and the last 10 cost 500 DC's each (7500 DC's total).
- Sellbacks - As of February 1st, 2008, when you purchase a Dragon Coin (DC) item from any in-game vendor (like Cysero's shop, for example), you will have 24 hours from the minute of purchase to return that item to ANY VENDOR in the game for 90% of the original Dragon Coin price. After 24 hours, the item will indefinitely sellback for 25% of its original price
Note: Items found outside of a DC Shop that are also available in a DC Shop can not be sold back for DragonCoins. Also, stackable items, regardless of their origin, can not be sold back. Still, it's best just to think hard before purchasing a DC-Item. Should you find yourself unable to sell your DC item back, you can always destroy it (where there normally is a button that says "Sell" in the shops, in the weapon description there will be a smaller "Destroy" button when you click the Inventory button). You can not get Dragon Coins as drops anywhere, you must purchase them or win them in a contest (you can find these in the DragonFable General Discussion board (Other contests also found in the Official Contests board) and the Design Notes when the time comes, don't ask when) 4. Alchemy and Potions You can get potions by talking to Reens, the blue-haired young woman in the potions shop one screen to the left of the starting screen in Falconreach. You can also find potion chests in various quests (Spirits of the Inn, etc) or in other towns (by talking to their respective inn keepers). Health and Mana potions will heal 100 HP and MP (respectively), though it is possible to increase this value with Alchemy training. The Health Alchemy profession is taught by Reens in her aforementioned shop. In order to increase your alchemy level, you must gather reagents, bring them back to Reens, and complete a "transmutation circle". Though it may take you a while, the process is not as difficult as it sounds. A more in-depth process can be found in the Reens' Shop pedia entry. For each Alchemy level you gain, your Health potions will heal 15 more HP; you can increase the potency of your health potions up to 600%. A guide about alchemy can be found here: How To Become A Successful Alchemist The Mana Alchemy is taught by Alac in her newly opened Mana Potion Shop. In order to increase your level, you must gather the aforementioned reagents, bring them back to Alac, and complete her "transmutation circle". This is more difficult than Alac's "transmutation circle", as it requires completion within a time limit. For each Alchemy level you gain, your Mana potions will heal 5 more MP 5. What is this PvP I am hearing about? Is it true that we are fighting actual people? You can find the PvP feature by using the travel feature (available in the top right hand screen of Falconreach) and choosing "Aeris Battlespire PvP." This is not multiplayer, you are not battling real people, and you cannot control your character when others fight him/her. The character that you are fighting has an AI (artificial intelligence) and has been programmed by the staff. Want more details on PvP? Try checking out the Every thing you need to know about PvP and PvP farming guide. 6. I heard that you can log in as multiple characters on the same account, is this true? Yes, this is true, but it is also worthless. You will not gain experience after quests if you do this, so do not bother. 7. What is "farming"? How do you farm? Where are the best places for my character to farm? Farming is doing a certain quest/event multiple times in order to gain experience, gold, or a certain item. Since farming topics aren't really allowed in the Q&A, you can check out the best places to farm in Farming Guide [v.3] for further help; if you want to focus on gold then the Farming Gold - The Best Quests guide should help as well. For experience farming then the Experience Farming - How To Do It and Where To Go V2 should be helpful. Note: Questions about farming are not allowed in DragonFable Q&A. 8. How do I find my character ID? What about the ID of other players? Check out this wonderful guide on how to find your Character ID Number. To find the ID of other characters, you should look no further than the PvP IDs List. Simply hit "Ctrl + F" on your keyboard (or use the forum search tool) to find what you are looking for quickly. 9. Quest/Item help "Where is the X Quest located?" "What monsters are there?" "Can I do it?" (and other similar questions). The DragonFable Encyclopedia is there for a reason, and you can find all of the information on quests in the Locations / Quests / Events section, so there is no reason to ask a question about a quest or event if you have not yet checked the Encyclopedia. Similarly, you can find everything you need to know about other items in the DF Encyclopedia as well. 10. The Doom Weapons (Why are they glowing red? Where can I get one? Will they get stronger? etc) Doom Weapons are the current "uber" weapons of DragonFable. - Their special attack consists of the weapon glowing red after hitting an enemy while the Doom Weapon laughs "Hahahaha! Engulfed in darkness!". Also, the opponent will take 5 damage (Darkness Element) for the next 5 turns (Damage over Time)
- The Doom Weapons have been ‘buffed’ a few times on various Friday 13th wars and their price has gone up also. They can first be upgraded at Chaney's Hut in the Crystal Clear Lake in Amityvale. After this upgrade, it is possible to upgrade your Doom weapons a second time by giving five Unlucky Doom Essences to the Mysterious Stranger, you can obtain these items from the Haunted Castle. Upgrades after the second can be found in Yulgar's Forge Shop, requiring even more Unlucky Doom Essences for the quest for more power
- In terms of power, Doom and Destiny are just about in par of each other. However, some things to consider are that more creatures are reisistant to Darkness. Doom Weapons are harder to level up, but they are the strongest weapons in the game, except for the other Doom Weapon, the Necrotic Sword of Doom. Destiny is Light, and is quite powerful, but as one approaches levels 50 - 60, other choices will become better than the Destiny Weapon, examples being Blade of Destiny and DragonLord's Loss (Level 60). It is ultimately your choice which to get, but these are some useful tips that should help you decide
Note: More information can be found about them in the Encyclopedia (Weapons): A Guide to Doom and Destiny Weapons 11. What do the stats do? How do I train them? Is there an untrainer? What stats should I train? You can see what every stat does by checking out the DragonFable 9.0 Game Engine FAQ. To train your stats, simply go to the Falconreach Town Hall (one screen down from the Falconreach starting screen and then the building to the right, you'll find it!) and speak with Sir Render. Click the "Stat Trainer" button and train away! The stat untrainer is available in the same location, but there is a catch. You will untrain ALL of your stats for 1,000 gold. The same stat points will be available afterwards, but you will have to repurchase them in order to allot them in a new manner. Again, the aforementioned guide will give you many build ideas, try searching there before posting here. 12. Where is the "save" button? There is no save button, as DragonFable saves the game automatically after every quest and at other points in the game 13. When will ...... come out?/When is the next update coming?/Why haven't they updated yet!? Questions such as "When will there be Multiplayer!?" and any other long-term questions such as those should not be asked. We don't know, we are not the staff. These features will come when they come, so please be patient and keep an open mind. As for immediate questions such as "When does DF get updates?" or "It's Friday, now where's my update!", don't ask. How would we be able to tell you? Again, we are not the staff, just be patient. Timewise, updates are usually released at 6:00 PM Server Time, which is actually Eastern Standard Time (EST). If you are not located in the EST timezone, then you can take a look at the DragonFable Website, where a handy little time signature can be found in the top right corner of the homepage. Keep in mind that the game staff are only human and mistakes can (and will) happen, which will sometimes push back the release of the update. If this ever happens, do not panic, rest assured, knowing that the staff is hard at work getting the new material ready. Just a warning: If an update comes out and you feel that it is too small an update to suffice, please keep that to yourself. The staff work hard to get these new features to you, so the last thing that you should do is complain. Also, when updates come out please search for their official threads if you wish to talk about them - these threads can be found in the stickies and have either an =AK= or a =DF= tag. As it has been stated above, updates are usually released on Friday. If you want hints of what's to come, the most accurate calendar is always the DragonFable Design Notes. 14. Guardianship/Guardian Armor/Guardian Blade To become a Guardian in DragonFable, one must first be a Guardian in AQ. Follow these simple steps to obtain Guardianship in DF: To obtain your Guardian Armor, simply enter the Falconreach Guardian Tower, go one screen to the left (when in the tower), and speak with the orange-haired (slightly bald) Guardian. He will outfit you. The Guardian Class has been released, and you can now train your skills by speaking with the Guardian who gave you your armor. To get rid of the armor, you can either log out or speak with the Guardian who gave you the armor in the first place and ask him to unequip it. By verifying your guardianship, your entire account (all of your characters) now has access to guardian privileges. There has also been some confusion as to how to obtain the Guardian Blade, in order to obtain one of these weapons, you will need to complete the Race to the KeyGems quest in the Willowshire Guardian Tower, once you have all four Keygems, you will gain access to the Vault, inside of which you can buy your Guardian Blade. Note that there are four versions of the Blade, level 5, 10, 20 and 29, which cost 1000, 5000, 7000 and 9000 gold, respectively If you verified the wrong DF account and want Guardianship on a different account, there is now help: HelpZard* - PayPal transaction ID for AdventureQuest Upgrade
- AQ User Name
- AQ Email Address
- DF User Name
- DF Email Address
Note: the mail form will say "Account Hacked" in the subject. However, this is the only link we can find that will definitely get your information to the people it needs to go to. Please just say what your email is about when you send it so that they know what's going on. A new bit added for the Guardian Verification is the option to participate in one of Ash's storyline, titled ArchKnight. The original ArchKnight did not take off too well, so this function helped to get in some of the fun ideas they were going to enter. To access this new storyline, go to Ash in Falconreach: - Ash DragonBlade NPC in Falconreach
- Click on ArchKnight option
- Finish the dialogue
- Switch characters, and you'll be able to play as Ash in A New Beginning
Note: Even if you are able to play as Ash if you have a Guardian Verification, he still will not be able to touch the DragonAmulet items he comes across 15. DragonFable Formulas (How do I calculate my damage/What does Melee/Dodge/Critical do?/How much Exp do I need to level up? etc) The most recent formulae for calculating your Damage is found mostly in the DragonFable 9.0 Game Engine FAQ. That is found by finding your Damage Bonus in the appendix and adding it to your Weapon Damage. Melee/Pierce/Magic Defence increases your chances to dodge the respective Damage Types. Parry/Block/Dodge further increase your chances to avoid incoming damage, but is an all-around effect and is less noticable. Experience needed to level up is equal to: (Level)^2*100, where you square your level, and multiply the result by 100 16. How do I change my forum name? What about my DragonFable character's name? To change your forum name you will have to PM Seahawk with a good reason for the name change and the new name that you would like. You can only change your forum name one time so make sure it is the one that you really want when asking for the change. As for your character's name, you can not change that at the moment. Do NOT ask when the Name-Changer is coming, as it may not even be a feature that gets implemented at all. Nevermind, see the [FAQ-4] for correct data :D 17. Technological Issues (My game is lagging, help!)/How do I clear my cache? Should you find yourself stuck with a compatiblity, connectivity, or any other technological difficulty, there are three basics steps that may remedy the issue (if the problem persists and you believe that the error is with the game itself, you may gather the necessary information and report your issue in the DF Bugs forum): - Clear your cache (see below)
- While playing DragonFable, exit all other programs
- Upgrade your software (ie. Flash Player, Internet service, etc.)
Sometimes you will get a corrupt temporary internet file whilst playing DF, causing the game to freeze up among other problems. Clearing Your Cache is cleaning out all your temporary internet files, and then logging back into the game and trying again. The Helpzard and the DF Help Pages have very informative guides on the subject, with instructions on how to clear your cache in multiple browsers 18. How do I set my starting Items and Class Armour? This is a DA-only privilege. DA users may go to the second floor of the Falconreach Guardian Tower and talk with the librarian to set their currently equipped items as their default equipment. In PvP, your character will wear his/her default equipment. - Note: This method cannot be used to save your starting armor; this can only be done by the House Items
The Orb of Savings and the Armor Closet are two special in - game items, in which a DragonAmulet wielder is allowed to save their Class Armor as the set Class they see / use when they log in. To get the Orb of Savings or the Armor Closet, one must possess a house: Falconreach > Cysero’s Orb > Buy a House > Go to my House > House Shop > DC Stuff or Gold Stuff The Orb of Savings costs 20,000 Gold, and requires 7,213 Gold to save a Class each time they want to save a different one. Rare Classes, such as PumpkinLord, may only be saved during the time the armor is released. The Armor Closet requires 1,000 DragonCoins, requires no Gold or DragonCoins to save a class per time of saving, and will have any and all Classes that you have unlocked 19. Guest Help (How do I get *insert guest name*?) For those of you who are looking for guests, try checking the proper section of the Encyclopedia (Pets/Guests). We can not at the moment heal the guests nor replenish their potions without getting them again. You may be wondering why guests have health, but are not attacked. Guests can be attacked, though few places offer this feature. In Willowshire, guests can be attacked, though there are very few other places. When will this feature be used a bit more in the game you ask? We don't know, just content yourself with the fact that you're guests aren't dying before you get a chance to use them well. Eventually guests will be levelable, and according to the Design Notes this may happen quite soon: quote:
P.S.S.S.S.S. Guess which NPC will make his final home and become levelable in the haunted forest! ^_^ 20. Spoilers + Plot Spoiler Bags First of all, posting a spoiler is against The Universal (Applies Everywhere) Rules/Guidelines (#11). Though the definition of a spoiler is often debatable, you should use common sense. If it seems like something what other people might want to discover themselves, use spolier tags. One thing which REQUIRES spolier tags are Plot Spoiler Bags. They do exactly what their name implies, they completely spoil the plot. There's no fun in posting them. About the Punt Twilly minigame password - this is no longer considered a spoiler per se, but you for sure feel that using spoiler tags would be a great idea. If you don't know how to use spoiler tags, the code is

21. What was the "Beta" of DragonFable? Those were the good 'ole days. Guardians in AQ could test the DF beta for free, though at the expense of the occasional accidental character deletion and/or glitch/bug. For more info, see The Design Notes Archive and The Unofficial DragonFable Timeline . 22. How do I find out about my stats/resistances? What about a monster's stats and resistances? Simply click your name at the bottom of the screen to see your stats/resistances. With monsters, you need only click the circled "?" mark to bring up their stats and resistances page. Should you need to know a monster's weaknesses and strengths, the A-Z Monsters by Weaknesses/Strengths guide is what you want. Just find the monster you're looking for, and click it to see its Encyclopedia entry. 23. Why am I not hearing any music in DragonFable? What quests have music? DF's musicians are currently hard at work on creating wonderful melodies and intense battle music for you to enjoy. For now, there is barely any music in game, and the quality is somewhat lacking. You can find music in: Ghost in the Inn, the Dracolich Cutscene and more coming soon. To turn your music on, simply follow these steps: - Find the Options button in the bottom center of the game screen, then click it.
- Check the empty box next to "Music"
- Be sure that the box next to "Sound" is checked and that your volume is at least at 10 (100 recommended)
A new quest which contains music is Fires Over Oaklore, the bombing mini-game. 24. How and where can I change the color of my armor? If you have a DA, you may go to the Armor Paint Room in Warlic's Portal (not his area, but the actual portal in Falconreach). Simply select a base and trim, then pay 100 gold and walk out! This is a DA only privilege, and it has been said several times that making it non-DA is unlikely, but it will be considered. In the mean time be patient or buy a DA. 25. The Royal Penguin Shrink Ray (Where can I get it? What's the drop rate? etc) The Royal Penguin Shrink Ray can be found in three areas and three areas only: The Boxopolis, the Sneevil-Jitsu Dojo, and the Defend the Keep quest. All three of the Sneevil Quests are available to everyone and can be found by speaking with Sir Valance in Oaklore (the starting screen, the one with the "!" above his head). The drop rate of the Shrink Ray has been confirmed to be .27% Once you have the Ray(s), you must purchase a pet Linus from Grams Pet Shop in Falconreach if you have not already done so. The Upgrades and Requirements are as follows: 1 Royal Penguin Shrink Ray: Prince Linus (Level 9) 2 Royal Penguin Shrink Rays: King Linus (Level 19) 3 Royal Penguin Shrink Rays: Emperor Linus (Level 29) When any one of the Upgraded Linus pets performs its "Shrink Ray Attack" and is successful, the enemy will lose 10% of their total HP and will appear "shrunken". CHA, LUK and the version of Linus (Prince, King, or Emperor) that you own determine your chance for a successful Shrink attack. Note that enemies can only be shrunken once. 26. Where can I fight the Junkyard Driller? Battle Cores, Scrap Metal, etc The Junkyard Driller (and its more powerful variant, the Mega Junkyard Driller) can be found in the You Need More Iron in Your Diet quest, which can be found by speaking with Ash (by the Falconreach Inn) and selecting "Challenge!". The two available drops from this quest are the common Scrap Metal and the uncommon-drop, Battlecore. A more powerful, DA-only version of the Battlecore, the Enchanted Battlecore, can be purchased from Cysero's Shop in Falconreach. The exact drop rate of the Battlecore has been confirmed as 2%. Please do not make a thread asking how many times it will take you to find one, as it will be different for everyone. Two Common Mistakes: - Thinking that Battlecores drop more frequently if you fight the Mega Junkyard Driller. This, as far as we know, is false.
- The inability to find the Drive Unit. That is because there is no such thing, Voltabot is simply referring to the Battle Core
27. Drop Rates and Rarity This is a must read for all of you, those with questions and those who answer them alike. You can find the drop rate of most items by simply using this equation: 1/Total Number of Quest drops (divide one by the total number of possible rewards in the quest). However, the drop rate of some items have a "fixed" rate that is not dependent on the above equation. Unless it has been stated by the Mods or the Staff, we don't know what the drop rate for it is. Guessing about it only spreads misinformation, so keep your conjectures to yourself. You'll find further elaboration on this subject in westward_ho!'s On Rarity, Rares, Item Drops, and Sellback Values - A FAQ. Another helpful link regarding Rares is Rare Items - A-Z and Sorted by War. The term "rare" can have many different meanings, but in DragonFable it only has one. It means "unobtainable", as in you can not get this item any more. Claiming that an item is a "rare-drop" makes no sense, try to use terminology such as "uncommon-drop" or "unlikely-drop". A rare item's sellback value has no reason to increase unless the staff let you know that it will, so do not assume that the price will skyrocket once it becomes rare. As for questions such as "Should I keep my rares?" that's completely up to you. Everyone has different ideas on that subject. You can keep them as memoribilia or if you find them useful, or you can sell or destroy the ones that you have no need for and save bag space. It's up to you. 28. Questions about hacks/cheats/cheaters/hacked accounts There are no cheats for DF. Discussing/asking for cheats/hacks will get you banned. Found a character you suspect is a cheater? Gather the information (character ID, why you think (s)he is a cheater), and PM the details to a Moderator. Do NOT post it in the forums. Think you’ve been hacked? Check out the Accounts section of the DragonFable Help Pages. Genuine hacking of DF accounts is extremely uncommon – it’s more likely someone you know has accessed the game using your username/password. Change the password immediately. There’s very little DF game staff can do to restore your lost items. I suggest that each and every one of you read the How do I keep my account secure? tips and guidelines in the DF Help Pages. 29. What is a Founder? On the character pages, you may see the term "Founder of DragonFable" underneath the "Account Type" field. Founders are players who purchased a DragonAmulet within the first month of its release on June 10, 2006. Both Reens and Geopetal have confirmed that a Founder is someone who bought a Dragon Amulet within a month of its release. 30. Dragonlord Armor. Where? How? What is DoT? The Dragonlord Armor is a powerful armor that is only available to those with Dragon Amulets. If you have a Dragon Amulet, you can head to Sunbreeze Grove by talking to Twilly, and talk to Celestia. As you go up in level, you can train the armor to get more and more powerful skills, you have to be at least level 21 to obtain every skill. If you try to use the final ability, Dragon Heart, you may get a message that says "DOT Required". DoT is Damage over Time, you will have to use Energy Beam, Fire Dragon Spirit or Earth Dragon Spirit. Also, if you have extra gold just waiting to be spent, you can acquire from Lady Celestia the Color Customizable DragonLord Armor and the Evolved DragonLord Armor (for 20000 gold each, though the Color Customizable Version must be purchased before the Evolved Version). Note that there is no difference between these and the regular armor except the looks. 31. Baby Dragons (Stats, Lag, Super Dragon Chow, Special Attacks, etc.) Stat Training - The highest ranking point value is not 161. The numbers next to the 5 abilities is how many points that you have to have in that pool to unlock that power. Every 8 points the power improves. Each power improves 5 times before it is maxed and the next ability unlocks. - Super Dragon Chow - They are found in many DA-only Quests, but have a really low droprate. Farming for them would be silly out of belief
- Drop rate of REALLY special dragon chow: While the exact rate will not be released, it is probably the lowest anywhere in the game. <-- Rate confirmed by game staff
- Quest with a drop rate higher than normal is The Long Walk
- Can be purchased from Sunbreeze Grove for 25 DragonCoins apiece
Lag - It is not the amount of math going on behind the scenes that lags players, it's the number of moving lines on the screen. Information confirmed by game staff Special Attacks - When this equation is verified, the baby dragon will use a skill. Otherwise, it will do its normal attack. quote:
R <= 10 + Ceiling[0.1 * Stats + (PlayerCHA + PlayerLUK) / 10] R is a random integer between 0 and 100 included. (0 <= R <= 100) Stats is an integer corresponding to the total of baby dragon stat points currently ATTRIBUTED (through training). Ceiling(value) means that "value" is always rounded UP, even if it is 0.0001. ^Formula not verified by game staff; please do not use this as official. Dragon Eggs - At the present development of DragonFable, the egg that you choose does not affect your dragon whatsoever. However, there may come a time when it does somehow influence your dragon, yourself, or the game. Bottom line is that the forums can't help you here. We are just as clueless as you are (with a few cashews on the top) and can only know if the staff speaks. There has been no confirmation as to the progress or lack of this feature being implemented. The best ways to keep up with the staff and current news is to check out the DragonFable Homepage, Design Notes and General Discussion. Damage - The only way to increase your pet dragon's damage is to level up, as exemplified through the equation: Ceiling[SquareRoot(Your Level)]*2.5 . Its stats only affect its special attacks and skills, not its standard damage. Though your pet's minimum and maximum damage will fluctuate as you log in and out, the average will remain constant with respect to your current level. 32. What/where is the war? What are waves? Why should I help in the war? A war is simply that. There is a force invading the town of Falconreach or any other town really, and all of the players in DragonFable fight together, they need to beat a certain number of waves to finish it, and fight the one that is behind the war. You will know that a war is happening via the DragonFable homepage and Design Notes. A war is usually accessible using the sign in the top right of the screen in Falconreach, or from an NPC. A wave is a group of monsters that you need to defeat. After you defeat them, a wave is complete and you receive a reward and bring the war one more step to its end. (usually wars are made from 3-4,000,000 waves. You will be surprised to find out how many people play DragonFable, and how easy it is to finish wars if everyone works together.) Usually, you receive a Defender's Medal for finishing a wave. The entire wave is just basically a quest with one room, all of the monsters are in it, and a reward. You can exchange these Medals in the special Defender's shop in Falconreach for special items. Also, the war offers special (and usually hard to find) items that can pop up instead of a Defender's Medal once clearing out a wave. At the end of the war, there is a boss, which is a powerful monster that is either the one behind the war, or one of his minions. At some of the wars the war rares are sold in a shop that only shows up when you defeat the boss). 33. Upgrade cards. Where? How? What about in my country? Upgrade cards are the newest way of purchasing Dragon Amulets and Dragon Coins, available to US residents only. The cards are available in all Target stores; you will need to go and purchase one yourself. The next step is then to visit the upgrade page, where you can choose which game for which you would like to redeem your card. Choose "Redeem Card", and the rest should be simple from there onwards. Upgrade cards can be used whenever you wish, as they do not expire. As of now, the upgrade cards are effectively in a "trial phase". This means that they will only be available to those in the US - if the staff find them to be successful, they may eventually branch out into other countries, however we do not know when this is going to happen, so it is pointless to ask about it. See the upgrade card redemption page for more information and frequently asked questions. 34. What's this about the SS T-Shirt and the Code I've heard of? How can I get it? Where do I verify my code? What do I get for the code? The "SS T-Shirt" is the new ShadowScythe T-Shirt, available in "Red on Black" and the originally intended "Black on Black". A picture of the versions can be found at here. It is currently obtainable from J!nx; the exact page where it is available is right here. However, the T-Shirts are currently sold out; We anticipate that at most it will take around 3 weeks to have more T-Shirts available. Please note that this is a rough timeline and that we're obviously trying to get more as fast as we can. Finally, your reward for buying this T-Shirt is a Code that allows you to receive the Doom Knight Armor for AdventureQuest, Shadow Versions of the Starter Classes for DragonFable, and the Sepulchure Mecha for MechQuest. Yes, you receive all three items for one code.
