This guide is for which quests you should work on at which levels.

The dropship: Everyone starts here, and you should get to level 3 here. Beating the blip is a bit annoying as you need to buy something, but try to limit yourself because credits are important in early levels. Of course, non-sc's only have 1 level 3 mecha, so buy it on the ship, and sc's should avoid buying a mech until soluna because the volt thorn is the best non-rare mecha for price and power at that level (the level 3 clown is ridiculously overpowered, nearly impossible to kill because of the heal and damage specials, the level of which are otherwise not available until at least the level 8 mecharoni, if ever.) Use the weapons that are cheapest for their power because credits are extremely few in these levels.

Soluna city: Arrive, do the exam, do the pizza quests, do energy blade training and as much mecha combat as your equipment allows. Finish the entire museum series, and do Warlic's quests up to the curing sys-zero, but do the hospital quests (only do the shs in front of the building and the supply delivery quests, the others have bad credits-exp ratios) before you try to cure him. Then, cure him and finish Warlic's quests and do the cop quests. Then, go to Westion. (ghost hunting is easier and faster later) Also, I recommend the pizza mecha (the new ones, not the Deluxe Mecharoni) for your levels, they're great. Also, do every K&S challenge you can without dying (on your first try), but only once because otherwise you'll outlevel the quests that you need to do. Also, only go one challenge ahead of your level, because the rewards don't do you any good if you can't use them.

Westion: first, do all of clyde's quests. Next, do the train quests (find the parts). Then, do the mayor's first quest (catch a thief) and go to Khaeldron and do the mines and prophecy quest chains. Go back to Alamonia and do the bounty hunting quests, then beat the boss and go to Khaeldron and protect the train. Then, start the firemane quest and get to the oasis. The level 13 mecharoni is the lowest level (and cheapest) mecha that can beat her regularly. Now, go to the moon, finish the reputation quests, and go back to Soluna and do the Ghost Hunting.

When you've finished the Ghost hunting, go to Zargon and complete the quest chain. Use the supersuit for a uniform bonus. At the end of Zargon, you'll probably be level 14 or 15. I'm afraid you'll need to do some farming here until you hit level 18 for sc's, switch to braddock steele then. Regardless of upgrade status, make sure to wait to do the 100 floors until you're level 25 because that's the highest they scale and it's good for motivation. You'll want to start gark around level 20 or 21 because of the bull mecha and weapons..

Farming: First, do the K&S when you're ready, not when you begin to need to farm, because then you'll spend a while just catching up to yourself. Do every quest chain in the order above and the first time you'll need to farm is 14 or 15-18(sc's take a braddock steele break here) and then to 23, where you do gark/lagos. Then, you'll want to farm to level 25 (depending on the new content, you may or may not need to do this, regardless you should go to 100 floors when you hit this level) and on through any new quests to the cap. This guide will be updated whenever new content is added. I recommend farming either at the K&S near your level, or, if you're above level 25, at Lagos or the pirate skipper who is the easiest lagos mecha and reliably stays that way.

Holiday releases: Always do the holiday releases with your main character first to see if it's worth your other character(s)'s effort. If it's a war, farm to a set goal for the main character (say, a level or a credit amount) or if it's already at the level threshold (will level up when the cap does) farm on the secondary if there isn't loot that will be needed for the shops, if you need loot, use your main until you're comfortable in your status and switch to the next down on your chain.

uh Nixkreig, you have to finish "Train Parts!" Before you can do "Catch a Thief!"

The Game
Pegasus Overlord

I determined a while ago that this guide was not needed, because this is essentially a "go to Westion and do the quests, then go to Gark...", which does not effectively warrant a full-fledged guide.
