Can you believe October is almost over? Which means... Mogloween is being celebrated world wide! Cheya! Time to dress up, knock on the neighbors' doors, and collect 17 pounds of delicious candy...and eat it all that night...! Just kidding! Or am I? The Cauldron Sisters’ Candy Shoppe is overrun with mutant Moglinsters! These beasties even tried to steal the Sisters’ beloved cauldron, Myx! But now the time has come to discover the person responsible for attempting to ruin the holiday spirit. Mogloween is not Mogloween without Cauldron Sisters’ candy, after all. Head back to the Candy Shoppe in Mystcroft and search for clues that will lead you to finding the man responsible for the Mogloween madness. We could tell you who it is... but that wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?
Those were the Tricks... and now it's time for the Treats! To start things off: 1st Upholders will be receiving their Golden Starswords and Badges on Sunday, November 1st! Thank you for supporting AQW! The Gift Boxes will also be magically opening this day! Last week, you opened 4 presents out of the 10. So this Sunday, you will be able to open the remaining 6! Who knows what surprises will be hidden inside? Well, I know—but you will just have to wait until November 1st to find out!

In continuing honor of Mogloween, we a releasing our next permanent in-game planet, Necyptos! It seems that Mina, a young and beautiful resident of the town of Lyceum, has been bitten by a vampire lord (this is why it is important to include garlic in your diet). You will have to go to the Planet Necryptos and defeat the Vampires that are oppressing Lyceum and save her before she succumbs to the darkness! The first zone will take you to the dark and forbidden Morrowood Forest, with its twisted paths and massive trees that even dwarf your mecha!
Han Velsing, a legendary vampire hunter on Planet Necryptos, has developed a new mecha designed for defeating Vampires! Get the special Mogloween edition in honor of our newest horror-themed planet! The all new Mogloween starship items were added to the Town of Amity on Planet Mortis! Get your hands on horrifyingly awesome items, including a Candy dispensing witch, an updated Mortis Starmap, and even the Evil Jim Skull Jukebox that plays the latest Evil Jim single, “Crush the Weak”!

It's time to bring the Cauldron Sisters back together! And the best way to do that is through the magic of--you guessed it--candy! You'll need to infiltrate each sister's hideout and battle through monsters to get another sample of their candy. Head back to Myx to combine them all into the original candy recipe and vanquish the negativity caused by Greed! Pets, weapons, and masks will be the rewards for this week's quest!
Every General needs an army, and every army needs a base. That base is Zorbak's (new) Hideout; unfortunately, Zorbak doesn't think his Hideout is grand enough for a moglin of his status. He wants the biggest house in town for his new base of operations, and he wants it now! He's sending the baby dracoliches to take over a mansion and YOU are going along with them to supervise. Make sure they don't tear the place down! New poison weapons will drop from the Zorbak quest!

This is the original Mogloween event that started it all, featuring trick-or-treating from one house to another as you collect candy (not just some candy--THOUSANDS of pieces of candy!) and hope to avoid meeting the original Moglinsters and other creatures out to keep you from the candy! Trade your candy in to unlock dozens of temporary items including masks, weapons and more. Don't miss out on this classic Artix Entertainment event!
This year's Mogloween storyline will take you to Castle Frankenspine. Confront a Steampunk Undead Monster that owes quite a bit to the Frankenstein we all know and love! Complete this quest to open a shop that features permanent Mogloween items. BONUS: We are also bringing back the freaky little Gweens and their quest from Mogloween '08 for AQ Guardians to play (or replay!), including their holiday rare pet versions.
