I have not been involved with AQ's community lately (Though I have been playing consistently, yet casually) (If this thread's illegal, feel free to destroy the thread completely)

But let's get to the real point of this thread.

Basically, what items do YOU think are overpowered, though, IIRC, I've heard these guys are the WORST offenders:
correct me if I'm wrong

Braveheart Mirror
Eye of Naab
Sila's Staff
Nerfkitten
Poelala
Golden Plate
Asguardian Plate

Feel free to add on...

Sila's Staff isn't overpowered. It was recently altered and I do believe it's quite balanced. Also, Asgardian Plate is underpowered for a level 120 flawless armor.
Braveheart Mirror is similarly balanced I believe, or at least not especially overpowered (It has all around defences which may or may not be too strong, I'd have to check the spreadsheet)

On the other hand, Big 100k is very overpowered, as is Wizard's Robes (Divine Magic) and the Muhrbles which are VERY overpowered for their level

ShadeSlayer: If I remember while talking to Magicdog on IRC sometime awhile ago, he said there was a bug that made the Braveheart Mirror Series overpowered.

I'd say nothing is overpowered, because of the sweep, but if I had to name one, Sparkling ordament shield, as it is the most overpowered shield :P

well, actually, I would say the kindred set, because it the fist "true epic" and crushes enemies with its max 5 focus attack (or 4, its a concentrated 1 hit attack)

Oh, also, Undead Mutant/Undead Giant because of their low costs and all-around spamability. Several old classes have severly unbalanced skills

Braveheart Mirror --> I thought this one wasn't working. Also, it depends on alignment..
Eye of Naab --> Very broken. Im a mage and im waiting for this to get some sort of penalty on it
Sila's Staff ---> free potions? yay :D but i love it
Nerfkitten ---> Broke the word broken
Peolala ---> No i dont think she is, but maybe there should be a guest like this for warriors? but either way, when shes swept IIRC, Kalanyr said she'll become cha based
Golden Plate --> Die. Die! Its the broken armor that goes with nerfkitten and eon
Asguardian Plate ---> Too much defense for its still incredible offence? Yes overpowered to me, but not as much as the others



Shearhide ---> Use up all your mp, switch to shearhide, use sila's staff what, two, three times, and you can have full mp again. Basically what should have done around 300 mp heal over three turns with silas suddenly becomes over 1000+ mp when you get out of the form, nevermind that the form doesnt take a turn to equip, or that much sp. At the level you can buy the L96 one, you make 29 sp per turn and it only cost 33 to equip, so by the time your mp is gone, you can most certainly use it

Undead Mutant --> I dont understand how , after noticing Terror set changed elements instead of doing only darkness, it took what, a day or two to switch it? People have complained over UM for years but such a 'simple(at least to me) change has not been made

Nemesis Shield ---> To be perfectly honest, with this, you could actually go on with only one shield


CFTFD is no longer a problem, D. Slayer has been swept, youll barely see it nowadays. and LoH .. well 90 turns is quite awhile

none of the items are overpowered, i remember Goggs and other monsters however that are overpowered, as long as your END is zero

 How about the Frozen Time Spines? *Will add links soon*
It has a chance to Freeze the monster..but if it doesn't work *If it is immune to freezings*, it will paralyse them instead, if the monster doesn't resist it. Is that maybe one of the overpoweraded items?

Or Frozen Magic Flagpole
It's ability to paralyse the monsters for up to 3 turns

Braveheart Mirror
I've never made this shiled to work, but I've seen its abilities...and it sure it pretty useful. I think it is too powerful *For them that can make it work*

Eye of Naab
With its ability to "go back in time"-ability, it sure is very useful. Either for only 1 hit recovery OR a full fights recovery *10% chance to happend*
It is extremly awesome. BUt overpowered? Naah, I dunno, 10% chance and only once per battle is pretty balanced IMO.

Sila's Staff
Never owned this, so no comment.

Nerfkitten
She makes the battles easier :P *The same with the NerfBat*
-24 on everything and buffs is a combination that maybe is somewhat overpowered. Make the buff lesser, uhmm.. buffy? :p

Poelala
No, Poelala is good as she is. I really don't think she is overpowered. She doesn't buff us THAT much anyway.

Golden Plate
It has pretty awesome defenses. Lower the defenses and the elemental defenses maybe make it some.. more balanced :p

Asguardian Plate
As I've heard some mods say, it is underpowered for an Epic/Flawless armor.

Reign and Golden Shield
Apparently they are about level 153 on the power scale. And they are only level...80ish?
Oh, and the Liquefactor. It beats out items that are 15 levels higher than it >.> And the Big 100k is a BIG offender. Oh! And Fairy God Mother

that is not how FTS works. If the monster is immune to freezing because of low ice resistance it tries paralyzes. it just has 2 different effects each with there own situation.

edit: NP, just didn't want the wrong idea being about...staff are already out to get FTS. ..(It is my precious.)

also, where is LB commenting about taking notes.

Eye of Naab, Braveheart Mirror, basically everything you listed is overpowered.

@SmashBrawlerX2

How is Shearhide Form overpowered? It costs 1,400,000 gold and you need to be Lv. 126. I think it's suitable for it's level.

Nemesis Shield is quite weak. Asgardian Shield and Fujin Shield beat it.

@shadowofvvk: Actually, Nemesis Shield is VERY overpowered for a level 105 shield. All the mastercrafted shields are VERY overpowered, except perhaps the new ones and Shadowbones.

EDIT: I put Shadowbones into the shield spreadsheet. Assuming it's versatility is its mastercraft bonus, then it seems balanced. It is perhaps a bit underpowered, although it does go slightly over its points allocation if you assume you only use it against darkness monsters. If you assume you use it against other monsters at least 20% of the time, it's perhaps underpowered.

Hmm, the Nemesis Shield is level 85, not 105 :P

Big 100K should be raised to Lv. 90+ and have its price changed to 300,000+ gold. :P

lol imma make this simple:

Braveheart Mirror: not really, im not a big shield fan, more of a offensive lineman type. more damage the better. i use nightmare shield most
Eye of Naab: No comment
Sila's Staff: no way, Silas staff is pretty balanced,
Nerfkitten: i do have to say its nerf abilities is quite impressive, is what make this pet so special, but hte price is to have high charisma
Poelala NO way
Golden Plate pretty good, do think its underpowered
Asguardian Plate: to me, if i use black wartexx to it, its actually doing damage from 60-70 everytime, but hey its just me.

The only item i would say is REALLY overpowered is GUaridna dragon! :D

the power items r blue colored on character page. u got that right. i go out 2 my money tree and i expect it. understand

What's overpowered with Braveheart's mirror? Is it the small chance of gaining a lot of hp?
