The Rules of the ED Q&A Forum
All Universal Forum Rules relating to posting behavior apply!
These should be the first thing you read when you join the forums. They apply everywhere; this means that any behavior prohibited by the Universal Rules is prohibited in this forum. This means no flaming, no trolling, no spamming your signature or emoticons, and no mentioning hacking. Period.
No Discussion
This is a Question and Answer forum, so any thread posted to discuss a topic belongs in ED GD. The Q&A forum is not for discussion, so once a question has been answered you should not continue to post in its thread.
No Duplicate Topics
If you have a question, please search the forum to see if someone asked it first. If there is already a thread about your topic, please read it first to see if the replies answer your question.
No Hijacking
While duplicate topics are not permitted, please do not post in someone else's thread with your own questions. If your issue is not addressed by any existing threads, please use the  and post your own thread.
No Game Account Questions
If there is something wrong with your EpicDuel game account, please use the Help Pages. No one on the forums can help you with any game account issues, so please do not post about them in this forum.
- If your account has been compromised/hacked/stolen/disabled, please do not contact the EpicDuel development staff directly. They receive many PMs every day, and investigating each individual account problem as it arrives takes away from time better spent making the game more enjoyable for the players. The Help Team works full time to address your problems; please be patient when awaiting a reply, as it may take a few days to receive assistance, especially on weekends.
No Begging
Begging for Membership, or an upgrade to any of the other AE games is not permitted. Do NOT do it at all, not in PMs, not in threads. There are no contests for which an upgrade is a prize, either. It only encourages begging.
Use Your Resources
The EpicDuel Wiki is a very helpful and important resource. Please search it before posting to ask questions here.
No Spam
This forum is for ED-related questions ONLY; please be sure to use the appropriate forum for your topic. If you have found a bug, please use the ED Bugs forum. For discussion of the game, please use the ED GD forum. Anything regarding AExtras belongs in the AExtras forum. If you see someone posting spam, please do not reply to it. Mini-modding is also against the rules, and replying to spam just creates more spam. If you find a post or a thread that breaks the rules, please PM one of the ED Q&A ArchKnights, listed in the post below.
No FAQ Questions
If a question can be answered by someone quoting the FAQ thread (any part of it), then the thread will be deleted with a notification sent to the original poster. The notification will include a link to the FAQ thread, and a quote of the answer from it.
No Hacking Accusations!
This is stated in the Universal Rules, but it needs to be said again. Do NOT post in the ED Q&A with any hacking accusations about anyone. It is not allowed. Contact a moderator by sending a message to The Lawman if you would like to report someone. Do not post about them.
No Image Tags
Do not use [image][/image] tags in this forum other than for guides as outlined in =ED= Useful Resources and Guides.
Signatures
Dimension size: 500(wide) x 100(tall) or less. File size: 50kb or less. Lines: Six lines of text in a signature or less. That includes text under, above or beside it.
Signature overuse - no more than once (1) per page within a thread. * Just a note: 1kb = 1024 bytes.
Smilies
Excessive smilies - no more than three (3) per post.
On Answering Questions:
Please only answer questions if you absolutely know the answer to them; do not guess your answers when helping others as it just creates more problems and confusion. Also remember that we were all new once; new to the forums and new to the games. Responding to questions with kindness and understanding is not a request, it is a demand. Any replies that do not add to the topic at hand will be removed - some without notice, some with penalties including official warnings.
