All humour and compositions for strings aside, I actually think that's a nice idea. I'd suggest the name Hazard Cannon.

The face of that mech reminds me of Sys-Zero. Don't ask me why.

Anyways here are some names:

Rex Zero
Desert Rix (sounds like a name from a Asterix comic eh?)
Cannonstar
Land Rover
Bannockburn Bruce (got that from a historical battle and king)

The appearance reminds me of the Strider, and the Ice Harvester. That makes me think a name related to the Strider would be nice. It also looks like it has a Jet Engine, or some form of cannon for a chest and shoulders (Not the weapons, the topmost part of the arm). It's fists are pretty big, too. From this, the names I can think of are:

Thunder (Or Lightning) Dash(er)
Aching Wave (I originally thought Soundwave, but I think that's a Transformer name.)
Sonic Shatter(er)
Earsplitter
Overstride
The Hypersonic Fist (Or The Hypersonic Punch.)

(I like Thunder Dash the most.)

Some (Like Earsplitter) would probably work better as attack names, though.

I thin HyperSonic on it's own would work, or Sonic Shatter, OverStride works.

It is.
I don't know why, but the word "Revenge" pops to mind though this mech doesn't really embody it at all.
And I still can't seem to like its head >_<

Well, it looks like a combination of the galactimecha and the ice harvester... so I have to go with:

Galactic Conquerer (not sure)
Galaxy Destroyer (too extreme)
Galactiflyer (it looks like it can fly)
Galaxy Quake (?)
Hell Harvester (IDK anymore)


That is all I can think of for now.
