Greetings and salutations friends!
I love this. In the 8 years we have been making games together... this is something on the level of crazy that I have never seen before.
We are going to change the rules a bit for those of you who may wish to run for President one day. (Although, I would totally vote for a super hero as president... personally) You can now show a video of your in-game character and use your real voice to speak as your character (feel free to change it with audio editing software) if you do not want to appear on camera. But it must be a YouTube Video. But to be fair, know that those few super brave heroes who appear on camera are going to have much higher odds. In fact, we have already seen one video from a boy wearing a towel on his back, and army helm and he made a VERY compelling argument for being an NPC... he is going in the next release 100%... just for being the first to do it. (Although he did make his video private so only we could see it -- should that be allowed?)

REPONSE: You bet! Although, people who are ultra serious, scary, polite, weird, and heroic can win too.

RESPONSE: It takes a lot of nerve to do something as crazy as this! Even if you are not participating, be sure to cheer on and be supportive of everyone entering. People can make a lot of mean comments... everyone in the HeroSmash community, regardless of being a Hero or Villain, should always be awesome to each other.
QUESTION: "Can I write a story instead?"
ANSWER: No. But you can read your story with a picture of your character on the screen. That would be acceptable.
COMMENT: "Getting a costume is too expensive!"
RESPONSE: A towel for a cape and creative look around your closet can go a long way :-) We are not picky... we are fun!
COMMENT: "If we are doing this, the staff should do some too!"
RESPONSE: Ok... no-one actually made this comment... but I think it is a GREAT IDEA!!!! I went into the other room and talked Thyton, Yergen, Jemini, and the team into doing it :-)
COMMENT: "Do we really want to be immortalized as a public embarrassment?"
RESPONSE: There are two ways to be immortalized... this is the more fun way.
QUESTION: Can I use a Green screen / Blue screen
RESPONSE: OMG! Yes! Yes!
QUESTION: Can we make our videos private?
RESPONSE: Official judgment on this question.... You may make your videos "private" so that they cannot be searched on YouTube, but they must be "viewable to anyone who has the link" which you will post on the forums.
