 PUMPKINS! PUMPKINS! PUMPKINS!

Welcome to the entry page for the 3rd Annual AE Pumpkin Carving Contest!

These rules and guidelines are simple but MUST be followed accordingly for your entry to be considered eligible:

• Your pumpkin MUST be carved BY YOU!

• Only ONE photo submitted per person, please.

• Include an index card or a piece of paper with the year (2011) and your (and only your) AQW Character Name--this way we really know it's made by you, and so we can award you with AC prizes if you win! Make sure your AQW name is readable and legible!

• Your pumpkin MUST be your own ORIGINAL WORK! Any work that is copied via Internet and/or Stencils or simply Copy-Pasted of some supreme pumpkin-carving legend will lead to an automatic DISQUALIFICATION.

• Your pumpkin MUST be carved in an AE theme. Check out pumpkins from 2009 and 2010!!

• Your pumpkin carving can relate to anything from AdventureQuest Worlds or any other Artix Entertainment game!

• Your canvas must be a pumpkin or another form of squash and/or gourd.

• The photo of your carved pumpkin must be of the Highest Quality—the bigger and more clear the picture, the better! Make sure that you provide a VALID URL to your photo. Try using a reliable photo uploader like Photobucket, TinyPic or Twitpic.

• You have until 11:59pm EST on Monday, October 31st to submit a photo of your carved pumpkin!

EDIT: The rules changed after I posted this...to where the year had to be in it. My pumpkin is already long gone and I cannot make another one nor take another photo ( since the pumpkin is gone, obviously). So please take this into consideration since you changed the rules on me after I had already submitted my pumpkin and cannot take another picture.
Please let me know so I don't just end up disappointed at the last minute. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL 3 LINKS SHOW THE SAME PUMPKIN BUT IN DIFFERENT SHOTS.

I call my pumpkin "THE FIRST PUMPKINLORD OF CHAOS HELM" based on the item 'First lord of chaos helm (Escherion's)'

PROOF SHOT: The shot of it with my username next to it.

Dark Shot: Turned the lights off. P.S. probably the best shot as the eyes glow in the right way.

Light Shot: Same as the proof shot except closer up and it is just the pumpkin, no paper.

And those are my pumpkins :D, but if there is anything wrong with them please email me at connorsaupe@aol.com

EDIT: Look, I just saw the DNs and the post that added the new rule about the year, but here's the thing: I made this back in 2009 and, due to my stupidity on how to operate a camera for some reason or another, didn't submit it until...oh, the last 10 minutes of the competition. The fact that I got beat by a STENCIL (Delecor) shows that my pumpkin probably wasn't even noticed. Please, give me a chance.

Oh and yes the pumpkin is on google images and the card is photoshopped so what Its still my pumpkin ... I am in another contest with it and I put it on google images so people could vote ... I made that pumpkin last year and I only had a photo of it ... and I don't have a chance to get a pumpkin this year so I can't carve a new one ... and there was no other way I could put on the card except photoshop... I hope judges/mods understand.

It's this time of the year again for me :D
I just need an idea and fast, although with what's currently going on, I hope there's enough time to carve my pumpkin x_x.

I wonder how many cheaters will turn up this year xD

@blueboy
That's why the AE Team ask for a card with your usernames on it, I think it'd be obvious to spot a photo-shopped name upon a card too.

 HEY GUYS!

We're making a small change to the rules!

When submitting your photo of your pumpkin, you must include a photo of an index card with YOUR AQW CHARACTER NAME and THIS YEAR (2011). This'll help us sort out any repeat submissions fro last year as well. So for those of you who posted above, please take another photo and resubmit.

And just a sidenote...we work in graphic editing software ALL DAY here. We can tell when you're cheating. I'm not /mad, but a bit /disappointed. Be a true Hero! Play by the rules!

Hm. I had a submission last year. It was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be, but I learned a lot. Will have to see if I can fit one in this go around. :P

EDIT: Heh heh heh... Just got an idea what I might do. *mischievous grin*

Samba, the AE staff should really think about fake entries. Something as a forum account banning for a week, or the player account for a week. Because it's really frustating checking 1,000 pumpkins while 300 are fake, right?

The Watermelon is part of the gourd family so yes, you can carve on a watermelon and enter it (I researched this myself two years ago)
