Jacques: «You»! What brings you to Paxia?
«You»: Oh, the usual. Adventuring, heard that a lot of monsters were coming to Paxia so I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about.
Jacques: Well, the clans do attract a lot of monsters who feel connected to their respective element.
«You»: Hmm... in retrospect that is the obvious answer, isn't it? Well, goodbye.
Jacques: ... wait a minute. None of the clans have said anything about new members... how many monsters did you say had come?
«You»: From what I heard? Enough to wage war on Battleon several times over, but if they're just hear to join a clan--
Jacques: I don't think they are.
«You»: Beg pardon?
«Scene zooms in on Jacques.»
Jacques: Despite how the clans have been trying to get along, their rivalry still remains, so any of them would brag about such an influx of new members.
Jacques: And none of them have done so. Your suspicions may have been justified.
«Scene fades to darkness. New Scene: A different part of Paxia.»
«You»: Ok. Let's go over the plan again. Of the two of us, you look the most monstrous-- no offense.
Jacques: None taken.
«You»: Right, so you should be able to go in and figure out what all the hubbub is about. Remember, it's crucial that you blend in.
Jacques: Right. I should be back soon.
«Jacques exits.»
Monster: (off-Scene) GET HIM!!
«Jacques runs past.»
«You»: Ok, change of plans then.
Fight with Jacques's help!

«You»: What happened? I thought you were going to blend in?
Jacques: I don't know. They took one look at me and decided to attack. You would think they had something against me.
«You»: Hmm. Good thing you were so fast then. Alright, I guess it's time for Plan B.
Jacques: Plan B?
«You»: HEY EVERYONE! IT'S JACQUES!
Jacques: ... you know you're supposed to treat your elders better than this.
«You»: Less talking, more distracting. Thanks for the diversion.
Jacques: *grumble grumble*
«Two Frogzards and a Wolverine chase Jacques off-Scene.»
«You»: Well that worked well. Now to see what the commotion is.
«Scene: A different part of Paxia in which many Earth monsters (including Owls, Minotaurs, BURPs, and Frogzards) are gathered around Terrapin.»
Terrapin: You have seen it with your own eyes! The passion behind the clans has vanished, giving way to complacency. And worse, its leaders ignore the will of their fellows!
Terrapin: Was it not decided that that abominable creature be denied Geotal's gift? Where is the pride that once held this clan?
«Scene zooms in on Terrapin, revealing that he is Numbered Beast "XV".»
Terrapin: I say we take back this clan for the worthy! Who's with me!
Monsters: *murmurs of approval*
Terrapin: Too long have we been treated like dirt. My kin and I shall turn the clans to rubble and build them anew. We shall remake them into clans fit for their elements!
«Outside the previous Scene.»
«You»: Uh-oh, this doesn't look good for Paxia!
Monsters: INTRUDER!!
«You»: And it's not looking so good for ME, either!!
Fight!
«You»: Another Paxia war... I've got to warn the clans.
«Scene: Terrapin's area. It is speaking to a Rockskin.»
Terrapin: Did the hero see?
Guard: Yes.
Terrapin: Perfect...
«Scene: A dark cave in which there is a chessboard.»
???: Pawn moves to H5...
«Scene zooms in on the board and then zooms out. It then pans left, where there is a speaker with yellow eyes hidden in the darkness.»
???: And now it's your move, Paxia.
