Luck. My key to victory.
Anyways, this post is really about when they will re-balance cards?

Refresh has an obscene cost, considering you still have to pay for the Shield card.
Characters with over-excessive 1 Attack Cards still lack a lot in every department.
Frost Bite still sucks.
Power Strike is outclassed.

Every other skill still has some uses, but these 3 are quite horrible to justify them for any use whatsoever, except discard fodder. You can't justify bad cards as a method of "balance"; maybe lack of synergy, but having bad cards is a really bad way to balance, IMO.
Also, can fixed HP come in until level ranges are established? HP gaps ruin the fun for everyone.

Actually, Power Strike's pretty awesome.
I think Life Drain and Ice Orb are the ones that need fixing.

For example, Ice Orb can do 20 damage, AT MAXIMUM, and costs 22 energy and 3 - 5 card slots.
4 x 5 damage cards does the same for 16 energy and 4 card slots.
That is so underpowered I don't even.

I'm not going to get into a rant about card balances but I think incinerate is terribly overpowered, its suppose to cost 6 energy but all you need is 6 energy, it actually takes 0, you can make a 1 damage card turn into 7 and it only cost 1 energy to do it. Very easy to abuse with unblockable 1 damage / 5 damage cards.

Yeah, Ice orb isn't effiecent with energy, however, it only takes 3 cards to deal 20dmg instead of the 4 card 5 hit.

@below: True :/ Unless you you can freeze your opp. Maybe they should increase shield amount?
@daichi: E. Res=Quicker farming for certain elements xD

Yes Epic, however, it takes a minimum of 2 turns, in which the enemy could break your shields, rendering Ice Orb useless.

@Epic You'd pretty much prefer using a Freeze in favor of Shatters over Ice Orbs though.

Ice orb is fine, a decent attack for a defense based element

The problem is that Power Strike has a ratio of 1.14 while standard 5 Attack cards have 1.25. Heh, even Power Flow for Water has 1.15, which is still better.
Ice Orb, admittedly has a large cost problem, in addition, you didn't even mention the possibility of it being lowered from attacks.
I think Life Drain has a slight justification in the sense that it does a Heal and 5 Attack card at once. I think that justifies the additional cost.

Also, yeah, Incinerate is insane. Although, I only listed those that were underpowered and not those that were overpowered, seeing as the "brokeness" of certain cards is suppose to be the trademark of certain elements.

I hope the coders do a bug squash soon. And not all cards are going to energy efficent, some cards are going to sacrifice energy efficency for raw dmg.

@superbat he's decent, a lot of cards though...

the reason mine leveled so fast is because I was off work yesterday and got the short shift today,that means
massive hours spent farming

Actually when you start fighting higher tier characters you quickly realize how limited Ice orb is. Numerous times It sat in my card panel just waiting to be used with more than 10 damage its just not possible, you'll constantly be hit by your opponent rendering it useless most of the time. Sure you can maybe get off 10 damage but for 10 energy? It's not likely to happen without freeze and some shield cards in advance. Freeze is required to make Ice orb decent which imo its pretty underwhelming.

I'm also voting against Ice Orb on this one. It's useful for PvE but you won't get much mileage in PvP

I don't use Ice orb often in Pvp, however when I was maxing out my Xmas, I managed to use it fairly often.
