@Vagaran Yes, right *Sighs* So tell is it fair to have A UNIQUE character(Not seasonal variations perma rare characters) for ST and AT but none for BT?

The thought of rares grate on my nerves knowing fully well that there are perma rare hunters that expect perma rares with every release or seasonal characters to be perma rare. I'm sorry to say, but this game is not directed by someone that believes in perma rares.

The point of Beta testing was not the reward, if beta testers don't get a reward then that was Nulgaths decision. The point of beta testing was to test the game and report the bugs.

I hate permanent rare too especially for OS but Nulgath kept his promises and we don't really have lots of permanent rare character excluding the seasonal rare characters.

I never said it was unfair, I just gave my opinion on the topic of a BT Reward.

I didn't say I want. I know I'm a bit hated for being a perma rare hunter, but really what I'm saying is to make it fair to everyone .-.

There could possibly be reason why Nulgath develop variation of Void Knight and Skexis Fiend. Reason is that some players don't live in the same timeline as the USA. Some countries like Singapore, Hong Kong. I am one of those players who can't participate in the Stress test because the Stress test was released at midnight on my time and I had school on that day. It was a very frustrating reason for some who can't participate in the testing but I can't say for Alpha testing since it was released at anytime although the servers shut down a lot of time.

Isn't it a reward enough to even play the game?? I mean like Skexis, this version of Revontheus was capturable. This version of Xmas Fiend was available for everyone during Christmas Beta. LoveWeaver was there and available for Beta characters so what more is there?

Not only that we will be also be getting the first dibs on trying out the new revolution.

@Mega You know variations are never going to be close to them... But at least make beta players a rare and make hundred of variations to it so .-.
@Mondez They aren't beta tester. They are just seasonal rare that'll be 99% the same thing next year.

How can you be so sure? They might be different in terms of variations.

My point is that beta players have gotten hold of unique characters fully before new players that have been joining the game,

@Mondez 99% change of not being. Just wait till next november, and you'll see.
EDIT:@Mondez Alpha testers got to have fire klunk and a lot of other skins before EVERYONE. Even Nulgath, hex and a fire dragon. And they have skexis fiend.

Problem was that they were skins and not possessable characters.

Anyways I'm not too enthusiastic on a Beta character reward, but only Nulgath can decide on what happens.

Nulgath, Hex and Fire Dragon was all temporary skins, they don't count as rewards....

@Mondez I don't see the point of having those characters before, if next Christmas/Valentine's day/revon birthday will have them again in the same power. I am probally one of the only who considers than perma rares.
EDIT:@Vagaran I never said reward .-. Beta testers got no reward yet. Also alpha got to test more than 10 characters skin before anyone else. Isn't that a reward?

Revontheus will have a katana instead of a bladed key next year, Xmas Fiend will either have a different color and a different weapon or build.

What you mean "never going to be close to them"? A hundred variations? That's plain ridiculous. No way Nulgath would think of doing that. Mondez made a very good point, we already got plenty of unique characters like Xmas Fiend who is completely free and he is consider a Beta reward character since Nulgath gives to every players for free for playing his game. For seasonal characters like Love Weaver will return along with a variation of her and so is other seasonal character like PL, HH, Bill Assassin and they won't be permanent rare. Simple as that. For Revonthues, he will have another variation.

Oh okay. I don't mind how different they will look so long as their appearance are almost exact to the original except their weapon or colour are different.

You guys can consider XF as beta reward, but I don't really see him as one. Would be cool to see a beta character. Also I'm cool enough with BD turning rare, since I wanted a dragon rare .-.

My point is Beta players have obtained unique characters like Megadragon stated so do Beta testers really need a character?
My answer is not really.

One dragon being rare is fine. I have very strong interest in Dragon and that would be sad to see more than one dragon being rare.

@Mondez Yes. I don't see why not .-. I didn't see the post on the design notes " Beta reward will be Xmas fiend!"
EDIT: What I mean is: XF will never be considered beta reward. It will just be considered the 1st version of the Christmas present character. Cool and enough title.

That's true though but XF is still a free reward character who doesn't require a single SG or 1 gold to purchase. A free character during Beta phase rewarded by the developer of the game is still consider part of Beta reward though not the true one.

@Mega You can't consider any of the items on beta shop the beta test reward. You can only consider Beta berseker. Also rewards can cost gold IIRC, but not IRL money.

Now I think about it, FC can also be considered a beta reward. I know it's a founder character but you needed to buy a SG package during beta to get it, so it would qualify as a beta reward. XF is actually recognized to be a beta reward, I've met various people in-game who consider it a beta reward. Js.

Rewards can also cost IRL money...
