 Blood Ranger is an evolution; not a lone character. You wouldn't get Blood Ranger that easy.

fiend blade -> overfiend blade
void incarnate male -> shadow void
void incarnate female -> blood ranger
sword warrior -> tharr the barbarian
light warrior -> templar
peasant -> ... -> arcane ranger or ice matron
dark incarnate (no evolution for this new char)
monk -> dire monk

The Templar is evolved from Light Guardian, I just fought him in nightmare and tried to capture, but I got the "Already owned" message. Damn him!

I have to say, darkness incarnate is probably my favorite shadow character right now.
