Working on an OS's anniversary release for next week!

  • Void and Skexis, rares given out last year to stress/alpha testers, will get a new rankups!

  • MAYBE Combos: We are also working on the gameplay feature Combo Bonus Buffs: 5 hit Combo = Damage Buff Plus slight chance to Stun. 3 Hit Combo = Damage Buff Plus slight chance to add a DOT. Hoping to have combos working the possibly next week. Testing this week.


In Progress
Working on a 1st upholder character as well as Resonance.

Coming Soon!
  • Combos: 5 hit Combo - Damage Buff Plus slight chance to Stun. 3 Hit Combo -Damage Buff Plus slight chance to add a DOT.

  • Skexis and Void Knight Rank ups!

  • Monthly Rare Character Releases! Meaning they will leave once the month is over but will return again when that month comes around again.

  • Resonance Update: Rev is unable to finish Resonance so I'll be taking over the creation of her. She'll be released as soon as I can finish her up!

 Wow. Even though I never got Void Fiend or Skexis, it's exciting hearing about these updates.

The combo bonuses will definitely change the way we battle both PvP and PvE. That slight chance to stun sounds awesome for characters like Ninja or Drow Assassin. xD

Combo bonus might make farming in nightmare dungeon a lot more annoying.

If it works like AQW, you will have to buy SG in a given time to get the 1st upholder.

1 more lvl till lvl 20 void knight...but darn it requires 94 battles! Even worse, I have to train founder knight later, and then train them to Legendary lvl 20. Oh gawd.

@Boom u doom You guys really started getting VK to 20 only when it's legendary was announced? Mine is at 20 since last year e.e

The free sgs from email most likely will not count for upholder.

Upholder is a good way for OS to make money since people will have to buy sgs to get it. Also did Herosmash get a upholder if not that means OS has a pretty bright future IMO.

@Andlu: Lost interest in Oversoul after founding out a mobile game (also left AQW a bit). Came back to AQW after the mobile game was corrupted, and came to Oversoul when I finished catching up AQW.

Maybe they can make it so that you can buy the 1st upholder character from a shop so those who bought SG without knowing there will be a promotion can get it.

I hope that is the case because I purchased Sgs a month ago at the same time of aqw's upholder, and now I wished I waited instead of being so speedy.

I'm not 100% on board with the chances for extra effects as I feel they further the luck aspect of the game which can only compromise the skill margin. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see the extent of this update and whether it calls for adjustments in how we play the game. It will also be interesting to see whether cards like Death Flow, Power Flow, and Retribution will be affected as they offer instant 5-hit combos and could become very powerful.

This 1st Upholder character is interesting, I wonder what that'll be.

I didn't participate in the Stress Test so I don't have much invested in the Void Knight Legend hype, but I hope it's a powerful character for those of you who do and that it doesn't disappoint and I look forward to the Skexis Veteran. I'm also very excited for Resonance. Looks to be an awesome update!

CC packs rotate every 2 weeks now, so it will be leaving next week not this week.
