I am assuming that they will make Xmas Fiend obtainable a different than it was last year.
It will most likely be added to the Seasonal Shop.
That way, we still get the Xmas variant we where promised for later.

This is the blacked out characted for any who don't know.

I'm pretty excited for it, it's pretty unique in that it's a non-seasonal-comic-relief Rev variant.

@inshal We were never promised a Xmas variant it was either we were getting the original or a variant this year and it looks like we're getting the original again.

@TFP I think it looks a little more like this one, they could probably be in the same char tree though.

@Bionic Bear it would be pretty hard to distinguish itself from Templar...unless it is a dual element, like Light/Energy? Add some Tazers, make it a piercing, or add a Charged and a Storm.

Retribution isn't particularly good but a third Greater Heal would be pretty cool.

With three greater heals and one retribution, you can stack heals on yourself while dealing large damage, thanks to the retribution. It could make up for a lack of attack cards.
Why does frostbite cost the same as poison for less strength?

The real howler is Frostbite vs. Electric Arc.

Frostbite: 6 energy for 200 per turn for 4 turns
Electric Arc: 4 energy for 200 per turn for 6 turns

Frostbite should be like 3 energy, or 4, since it's just burn with another turn added.

Guys, you should not look only on the DoTs card. Imagine how OP would it be for ice to put tons of shields, and even put a DoT that is only 3 energy that'll do 800 damage? That's why it's like that.

First thing to always take into consideration when comparing cards is what the element is supposed to play like. Energy is low hits but lots of them, with the possibility of a large spike of damage. Ice is all about stalling and wearing the enemy down. Think of a glacier moving across the land. It takes forever, but it leaves its mark along the path it traveled.

Not really, since Frost Bite and Electric Arc occupy the same niche. If anything, Arc is more in line with your characterization of Ice's style than Frost Bite since it's technically slower since it lasts longer, it just also happens to encompass Frost Bite's whole effect in the same time.

Looking forward for the upcoming release next week. Been getting the itch to hunt for new characters. Where I would be against a new flying character and defiantly want he elf. Can't wait to see her animations with that hammer.

Ever since rainbowtheus, I've wanted to see shadow/light legendary, heals and sacrifices work much better for outright healers than life drain. Maybe something like 2 greater heals and 2 sacrifices? 5 for 1000 damage and 200 heal in an instant. :D

Edit: A good rule of thumb for future releases would be that a release only occurs after sneak peeks are posted in the DNs, currently. Probably because Nulgath will be saving the sneak peek for Friday, to give us something to anticipate.

@below I do. So bite me. ._. On another note, a lightning/light would also be plausible, considering it's apparent "olympian-ess." Like, striking people down with bolts of lightning while staying immortal.

Eh, I don't really consider a character dual-elemental unless it has a charge card for a secondary element. 0 charge cards like Sacrifice, Surge, and Empower are basically non-elemental since they're universally playable. I would like to see more charge cards though to open up more possibilities for elemental combinations though. It's also interesting that we've yet to see a non-Water character with Fresh Start.

Yeah, this can help to improve the suggestion better. This can help to enhance PvE battle and make things quite easier than ever to train multiple characters at once. :D

For the charging cards, I really do wish every element can have charging cards so there will be more dual element in the future. Its also true Sacrifice, Surge and Empower are universally playable for any characters to use, in CC especially. Dual element character are really fun to play with. Cyber Void and Mana Guardian are one perfect example to deem how fun dual elements are. I would even love to see a dual Fire/Earth or Earth/Fire, Earth/Light. Dual Fire/Earth or Earth/Fire have great offensive card, with the combination of Meteorite and Earthquake plus with Mountain Strike and Fireball, it can easily up to 4K plus damage. To be accurate, it can deal 4700 damage!

Edit: Oh wait, actually, using 1 Meteorite and 1 Fireball, it cost 20 fire energy, using 2 Mountain Strike and 1 Earthquake, it cost total of 20 earth energy. Total damage deal will be 5700 damage! Its really difficult to draw those cards together and get both Fire and Earth energy to 20, however, while dealing some damage and saving the card you need to end the match with the technique I just stated, it won't be a problem. Still, that is based on players' ability. To win a card game match, we need concentration, patient and thinking of how to use the cards in our current hand. That's why OS is one of the most fun game I ever play. :D

the forums have been really inactive for the past few days :\ i wonder why
