I understand if they can't help me. Unlike the code thing this is entirely a fault on my part so they don't have to help at all. But like you said, these guys are awesome and I will stay calm and talk it out. Hopefuly we can sort out something.

I really don't know if I really can encounter, beat and possess Male DFR in 3rd try. Male DFR have already nearly crush my hope. I am almost going to become too hopeless.

Does seem like some players actually received their Nulgath's Shadow, meanwhile I'm sitting here and waiting for some kind of solution

It seems people who bought the promo before Nulgath was added got him but people who bought after he was added don't have the option to get him.

I have only encountered the DFR (F) once and was lucky enough the capture her. I can't even find the male version >.<

We have to wait for a fix by Capt. Rhubarb because the winter promo doesn't end until the end of January plus they just released the details of the Shadow Nulgath promo.

DFR is very difficult for me to find and the same is going for time gentlemen. It seems my luck has been down with the new releases so far.

^the tester says it appears in both, but most forumites got theirs in map 2.

And I really hope I can meet the DFR once or else it'll be 5 days and not DFR...

I wish everyone luck in both finding DFR, and dealing with this Nulgath's Shadow glitch. With patience, both of these will be overcome. Now I just need some luck in overcoming MY issue.

Why must DFR be possessable in the wild rather than be shop character? I really detest hunting extremely super rare character that is also a super hacker than even Storm Knight and Lich. Its not fun at all! Its a torture and only make things miserable. I have no luck encountering Male DFR twice today. I have to try again tomorrow. I am really sick and tired of having to do it again and again tomorrow. I am really going to end all this torture and misery once and for all before this weekend and beat and possess Male DFR to satisfy my anger and hatred.

They are indeed. I got male DFR easy enough, but many have not been so lucky, and female DFR still eludes me. Not that I want it too badly, it's just something to do.

MDK: At the end of the day, keep in mind this: it IS just a game. Unless DFR is said togo rare, you have all the time in Lore to catch it. And if it does say it will go rare, then you know when you have to get it by. Either way, just relax, take a break, and come back to it when you are calmer.

Try and just kill the monsters instead of refresh farming? I could not imagine something as dull and repetive than refreshing your page, walking to the oblivion portal and clicking explore to just refresh your page again.
I take these rare characters as an oppurtunity to farm while leveling my characters, which definently helps me ease the farming.

Well, I managed to posses Infernal Fiend and Resonance during my hunting, and I came up with a theory:
When using characters with other elements but fire, I never encountered Infernal Fiend. But, using the Burn Mage, I encountered it 5 times, and managed to posses it in my 5th battle
Same with Resonance, but I have enountered her many times before and I couldn't posses her. So i used my Bill Hunter, and managed to posses her by the first battle.. it's pretty weird
So now, I keep battleing with any Shadow element character, in hope that I can encounter DFR

well apparently i had no idea how many soul gems iv bought total.

just looked through my inventory and found a black dragon.

If dfr m/f are to go rare, they should add an sg shop for a limited time so people can atleast buy it. It would be very unfortunate if, after all those hours, some people still cannot possess it.

The alternative will be to not make it rare. I am not sure how leaving it in game perm would work as its a birthday thing, it could happen though. It may be an idea to make it available on every nulgaths birthday.

As for m/f, I am very content with possessing the male dfr and after hearing so many forumite horror stories, I am not expecting much when it comes to dfr female.

Shadow of Nulgath yes, but currently it is bugged so if you buy the 10k Artix points the option of redeeming the code for OS will probably not show for you.

*Update
They added a redeem function for Adventurequest, but still no Oversoul.

Just how great would it be is tercessuinotlim gets updated on Nulgath's bday every year. But I do hope it's not leaving because I'll be pretty desperate, plus I have school so I can't go farming mode all day.
