Indeed, however, that's more time to prepare and edit, is it not? :)
Furthermore, if I am done before the next contest, I have time to generate even MORE characters

True but what if its a specific contest next time like Halloween character based or elemental like this one plan for that.

No one expected a water only contest did they? Plus next contest will be around halloween, octoberfest and thankgiving three holidays celebrated in OS>

Just, a draconic version of Shao Lin monk. xD

Oh but it ALSO reminds me of DBZ, the Saiyan race! :O
Lol and the dragon would be Shenron. HAH! XD

@Ligerbeard: Yo I've got a question. If I write up my stories on deviantart, will others be able to see it? I don't really want others to see my completed works until the contest, or I like to keep it
private and PM it to certain people. Lol.

Idea for a character Nuglith's puppet has nuglith's hands hanging with string from them down to the puppet moving it only his hands are shown and the puppets attacks with the hands moving.

 ^ Say, that gives me an idea.

Remember those hands from DrakonDrago? Maybe a Puppet Master character has hands like that holding the X shaped handles, which controls the puppet. (hands float above the character.)

A hooded fiend on top of the screen, holding the wooden X-handles. The strings are attached to a set of knight's armor. Yeah?
The fiend is a floating cloak with a hood, and all you see are the glowing eyes.

I thought of a Puppet master character a while ago, but I couldn't really think of a storyline for it that interested me. Basically it was a giant, wooden golem. Right?
The puppet master is INSIDE the hulking mechanism, controlling the golem with puppet strings from the inside.

This is what that puppet master would say: "Is it this lever? No, wait, wrong one . . . This one? No . . . dang, I can't see a thing in here!"

The puppet thing with a knight's armor is a cool idea. Might try to draw that, along with the hooded fiend ^_^

He fights by pulling random levers and pressing random buttons. xD

Or I guess you can go with a more deadly serious attitude and be like, his life/soul is connected with the soul strands to the puppet/golem shell . . ..

Yup yup, for the knight idea, it wouldn't be a whole knight. Just the armor, you can tell that it's being controlled, no person inside the armor. . yup yup.

Storyline summary: A breed of little, playful imps/wisps with cloaks/hoods to conceal themselves. They possess little inanimate objects they can find, from tiny toys, to old sets of medieval armor.
If they get strong enough, they may be able to manipulate multiple items.

 @DidYouKnowThat: So, no helmet? Saves one string to control for the puppeteer.

For the thing of his life/soul connected to the puppet, there was this idea where he/she/it puts his/her/its brain matter into the puppet to control it.

A MULTIPLE puppet puppeteer would be something to see xD

I actually wrote a short story on my wattpad account about a unqiue type of puppets idk if I'd use it on OS since AE would own it though.
