 With the multitude of symbols under the players' names, one tends to forget about the buffs or debuffs casted, or miss the moment they expire. So, I suggest putting back the old style, visible on-character, buffs and debuffs, as an option that you can check or uncheck in settings. Those with powerful enough PCs can enable it, those that can't - can keep ti disabled (default). It would help a lot.

 I am pretty sure they were removed to deal with the server sided lag, not one based on your PC specs or internet connection.

So it's not a matter of you having a decent PC, because no matter how good it is, server lag screws everyone over, and you can't control it either.
