Right, I was there with the two of you late last night but it did seem DarkLore was AFK. Congrats on advancing Gorillo and very impressive game 1 DarkLore!

PS: Kakarot, I'll meet you as soon as I can hopefully later today. I won't be available from about 3-7PM EST as I'll be on a bus but I can meet you after that period or if you get this around now.

edit: my connection's been bad the last few days, I think it's because of all this snow. It's making it hard for the game to load and I hope it doesn't cause DCs.

TFP reporting in from bus wifi. I got through the first round with a 2-0 win vs. kakarot1123 but it was a long, bitter, and hard-fought war. He plans on getting back to the finals and is completely capable of doing so, take him lightly and he will make you his stepping stone.

Duel 1 (By far the closest and most suspenseful tournament duel I've ever had, was losing for most of it and clung to that last 100 HP for quite a while. We both played so well defensively the duel lasted about an hour and I was worried at one point neither of us could break any ground even without Iron Hide CC's, but eventually once the DoTs came before the shields, we gradually eroded each other down and I was very fortunate the cards lined up the way they did. If I hadn't won here without the initiative the duels could've kept going for a very long time so I did all I could to prevent that.)

Duel 2 (I tried a more offensive approach, it was riskier and almost backfired near the end once he got his defensive rhythms going but I'd done enough early damage that it was a matter of finishing, which still took a very long time and was very close as seen by my three digit HP because my defence was a little weaker than in duel 1.)

Great games kakarot1123 and if you do make the final then I'll do all I can to meet you there. :)

 Just had a great practice match against Signeous (forum name Igneous), his level 20 Taro against my level 16 Monk. He used some interesting CC. One of them was a corruption, which I got pretty lucky with my ironhides on, and I think I held on fairly enough with my unending stream of counters.
But in the end I'm pretty sure that the health advantage he had let him win easily enough, and besides that he went first, since I sent the duel invite. I made some stupid moves near the end and eventually killed myself against his counters on purpose.
@TFP did you both use corruptions?
