I've played a great Pokémon Knock-off called Bulu Monsters. In the game you can actually pay a certain amount of its currency to force a creature's evolution without having to level it up. This sounds like it would be a good idea for OS. I know. Seems like less people would play if they could just evolve anything like that. But that's where the currency comes in. Both adjusted to gold and SG pricing.

I agree with Gorillo; there's nothing to do but catch characters and evolve them. If you could do everything with money, why would you play at all?

Okay. I still think xp and gold rewards need to be adjusted. Most (If not all.) people agree with this. The amount of battles to get a legendary do make it quite a bragging right. But not everyone has time to do over 600 battles starting from level one. You'd be surprised how many players have said how tedious getting level 20 is. Zei, buddy of mine In game even said you'd have to have no life at all to be spending that much time grinding. Yes. I know I don't have to do it all in one sitting. I know that's not the point of grinding. I have actually seen many people who still don't even have their founder knights evolved or their Void Knights. Keep in mind that there are only so many Founders and stress testers. Gold is also an issue. If Nulgath can't settle for less level grinding time, Gold at least needs to be addressed. Gold is very scarce in OS. I know. How much gold could oversouls carry with Nulgath (NPC) killing everyone? Gold needs to at least be about maybe 500-1000 at a flat rate per level. I know where this is going to lead now... Buying sg's. Although the archfiend has been very, very kind in releasing virtually countless free characters, It seems like x-boosts ruined everything. Some old veteran OS players actually left due to this. Not everybody can afford to shell out a lot of money to get a full set of permanent boosts. Going back to gold... Even with Chests, two problems occur with them. Their A.I. is in some cases unforgiving and can rob you out of a decent amount of gold should you die, but their spawn rate makes that equally just as frustrating. I myself have never had the opportunity to get the Ogre Mage or chieftain. They are more of a bragging right due to being 100K each. I just hope Nulgath checks the forums when he's not smothered in work. Thank you for your time guys.

AQW takes forever to get a level 10 class why shouldn't it take OS a crazy amount of time?

No OS won't be so bad after they add chaos, a story, element resistance and new cards and more of a reason to pvp if they do that the game won't be as boring.

I agree 100%. XP needs a readjust. However, we need to take into account the other end of the scale as well: the people who brought a bunch of lifetime XBoost. Make it too low, and they will bust though level 20s like it were a walk in the park. It needs to be set to enough for no boost players to not grind forever, while not so high that Boosters can get thousands of gold and Xp in like five battles.

it is good to be back. haha and finally nice to be able to play again, I missed technology haha. yea I hate I missed thok. would have been cool to own.

I really can't wait for a story to happen. I feel like that would really complete the game for me.

I welcome the added challenge of resistances. Plus Chaos. Given how little was on the coming soon section, we may get chaos sooner than we think. maybe. I also wonder something... The story is planned to have us looking for artifacts to get our bodies back. But that's not practical since what we were before is solely up to our Imagination by Role-Playing Standards. It will probably play out to where we decide to remain oversouls.

Why is the name miltonius inside of OS? Didn't nulgath make a big deal about getting the name back from AE in the first place?

Also if that really is a new background they have to be planning something I wouldn't be surprised if we got a new quest in the upcoming week maybe not story related but something to pass the time.

As far as exp goes it is very broken I think having character just go to the next level after a battle if for example was a level 1 to beat a level 20 and get enough exp to level more than one time and be level 4. Doing it like that would save a lot of time with unneeded extra battles could cut out at least 30 battles which may not seem like a lot but really saves time in the long run.

With how many battles it takes to level up adding a rank up pass legendary just seems like a bad idea cause I know personally I don't have the patientince to do an extra 300 battles (With perma boost) just to get to level 25 or something. Free players would have to do at least 700 more fights since it takes 96 fights just to go from 19 - 20.

I think when it comes to levels, it's too low on the low side and too high on the high side. The solution is simple: up it a bit at the lower levels, like 2- 4 battles for level 1 depending of XBoosts, and lower it at the end levels.

From this shart it does look like they messed up and just decided to make it annoying after a set point.

6 goes to 12 then the last 5 are just 10 more fights.

with the way it starts the final number should be more like 3,840 exp instead of 35,720

Right, here's what I'm thinking.

basically, you up the lower amount of wins by a decent amount. For example, level 1-2 becomes 3-4 wins depending on XBoost or not. Then Level 2-3 becomes 5-7 wins. They go up a bit at the start, but at the higher levels you start nerfing them hard EG 60 wins to get from 19-20 rather then 96. Thus the lower levels become a bit harder, but not too badly, where as the hardness of the high levels gets nerfed. At the end of the day, similar effort goes in, but it feels like a faster progression at the higher levels, and still rather fast at the lower ones.

Note: MY EXACT NUMBERS ARE EXPERIMENTAL AND PULLED OUT MY BUTT.

Basically the idea is that you make the lower level progress SLIGHTLY harder to make room for the HIGHER level progress to be made MUCH easier.

Still takes to long to level up just makes it harder on xboost in the first few fights then it's less than 20 fights for the rest of the fights

I agree with 'DarkLore' one of the main frustrating things in game since the start is to level up &/or accumulate Gold for free players. Best solution IMO without making X-Boosts worthless as it cost a lot for the investors, is increase & fixate the gaining amounts per level reasonably rather than it being so randomly terrible.

If Dev's could do something like below, as a stable gain amount per level (33 fixed increase per lvl) for Gold it would be reasonably, marvellous without making X-Boost useless. Free players would farm more as it would be adequately, rewarding. Exp gain needs some increase too per level but at least for now it is a stable gain per level as Gold is completely contrary.

Random isn't so bad have a limit on the minimum set fixed rates for gold make it so much easier for xboost users for max gold. Which isn't that good till they work on price of characters.

Dev's could make the Gold bank counter higher than 1,000,000 to 9,999,999. If X-Boost players could unlock a new 11x increase maximum then they'd have a chance to be fully prepared for the future if we ever got some, time to time content implementations like: Expensive Legendary Characters/Artefacts each for 150k-300k Gold & such for the most hard-working players/investors.

This way X-Boost users don't get unvalued & free users could accumulate more Gold in faster periods of time, if my above stated idea of higher fixed Gold per Lvl would be added. Everyone would be more satisfied.

It's just all good ideas & even if X-Boost users get redundant Gold then too bad, main reason for such change like stated above is to make free players life somewhat easier around here. That's the important part, if we wish to see the community numbers grow further.

Yea Water ram was a lot harder to find than Earth Ram.
