Nulgath is working on AQW for several reasons 1. Alina asked him to 2. he isn't making any money off OS at the moment so his wallet getting dry. 3. They get a commission when they do LQS for about 5% of the money they make from it and the last LQS nulgath stuff sold out in less than 8 seconds.

That thing could be horrible and cost a large amount like dynasty warrior did.

Nulgath finally finished his video she thor vs zombie hulk should be dropping today. could possibly have belleen voicing someone in it.

Would be mad but we all knew how this was going to end. 1. Nulgath rarely released stuff 2. He was getting old late 40s 11+ year. 3. He rarely even made an attempt to converse with the players.


Am I sad kind of cause no legendary skexis or gamma pirate all the stuff promised will never come. The good thing is at least we know could of been several months before we found out and more people wasted money.

Also a lot of people from AE were getting let go no one cared about the nulgath new content all about Dage now.

What are you talking about? Nulgath's stuff in the LQS shop sold out in like 30 seconds. He still seems very popular with a lot of players. I have no idea why he's not part of the team anymore. I can understand leaving Oversoul, but Nulgath has a big following in AQW...

yeah it sold out in seconds it was something he drew several years back that a lot of people were mad was never added miltonious riding on a void bike.

11+ years is a long time to grow out of doing something as far we know he might wanna settle down and start a family or work on new animations.


Blade said he's down for being the head artist for OS. Now we just need a game lead and a coder I prefer a game lead who can code since they stuck lol no switching to other stuff full time.

Only semi-recently has AQW been able to forge Mounts, as early as Dragon Rider. Nulgath's Bike is a newer item with an older armor attached to it.

I'm in denial that Nulgath left Oversoul. It hasn't happened. ... D:

Well right now Artix is the game lead for lack of a better guess he can decide what happens now. REV is coming back to AQW so maybe he could be an artist?

Which of the AE people is willing to code Rolith is to busy with turning all the old AE games into mobile games on window 10 and Warlic is still working on that dungeon decent game.

*Breaks down into shadow tears.* NO... Say it isn't so Nulgath! OS must go on! *Lies in fetal position.* On a serious note, I doubt Nulgath would just quit OS. Come the end of summer and he'll say OS isn't be shelved anytime soon.

EDIT: I really need to shut my mouth when I'm ahead... I just had this exchange with Nulgath on FB.

Yeah, AE has only been around for about 13 years (late 2002). It's really sad to lose such a long time staff member. Layoffs are always negative, but I hope AE itself is not in too much trouble.

Man, if the guy who recently made a LQS that sold out in under a minute in AQW is getting laid off, it CAN'T be good for AE as a whole.

They in a whole lot of trouble losing aq3d the first time cost them about 450k or around that. They fired almost all the artist who they had to pay and AQW has dropped over 10k players on average a day in 3 years. With a large portion of them cause of the way they do business. Them trying to keep nulgath being fired a secret can only lead to hardcore nulgath fans quiting the game. We can expect this being the last time we get anything worth while in OS cause even if we get a new artist I doubt will happen cause they could be spending time on AQW or Aq3D. Was really looking forward to legendary pirate.


Vokun and Rev are returning to AE next week though.

Also OS would need an artist who can animate.

All we've been getting is some maybe's from Rolith's Twitter. I don't think we can assume the fate of OverSoul until someone steps up as Game Lead. Blade said he'd work on OverSoul as an artist if they asked. Rolith seems to be leaning towards coding for OS more, Sage and maybe Asuka can balance the decks, all we need is an animator (which could be Blade) and a Game Lead. *all of that would be true if Rolith and Blade were working on OS full-time*
