I'm pretty sure 100% damage reduction and 100% enemy hit chance reduction at max stacks means you are untouchable. Not even virtually untouchable, just invincible.

Sever is my favourite. 80% damage reduction and just barely loopable.

Temporal Insanity for me cause it reflects all the opponents damage back at them, though its bad if the enemy is immune to the skill.

Scarlet. You'd likely get more answers if you ask this in the class discussion probably. But I'm sure the answers there will be the same as here. I doubt anyone considers pyro to be better than scarlet sorceress.

indirectly speaking, pyro has something over scarlet. it leads to blaze binder. tho dont get me wrong, im not saying blaze binder would be better than scarlet (at least, not in all cases) but hey, it's still a reliable farming class

As a class and not what the class leads to, Scarlet would be overall better to have, it also doesn't require 42/28 (depending if you are mem or not) days of doing a daily quest, so it also got accessibility on it's side.
The only scenario where I would consider Pyro over Scarlet is in a group fight with a SC, which happens pretty often, but there's still other classes I would pick over Pyro in those cases. I would still get both since neither is really that hard to get.

If you are getting Pyro then I suggest getting Cryomancer as well.
They both require the same amount of tokens from daily quests that reward the same amount of tokens so you should be able to complete them both at the same time if you start them at the same time.

Cryomancer has two fairly high hitting skills/combos while Pyro just has the one, IIRC, so I'd say Cryo would be more useful in a party because you're getting that extra damage output from that. I know Pyro has a bunch of DoTs but I don't know that they're able to equal the extra impact damage Cryo has.

Or, you know, you could use something useful

Cryomancer is better in both scenarios.
Has better DPS due to better cooldowns and the spellpower based auto attack. cryomancer's skills are better spread out too. Cryomancer's heal and resist is also more sustainable.
Pyromancer has a reflect and the better mana regen model though. But pyromancer's DPS is just pitiful. Other than the time you can use the combos,
which isn't often due to pyromancer's cooldowns, pyro just has awful DPS. and even then the combos don't happen often enough to make a difference. The DoTs are nice to help you out somewhat but pyros DPS is still bad.

Does the 2nd stack bug only apply to damage? If there is a skill with multiple stacks that increases something other than monster's damage taken, does it increase the increment double on the 2nd stack?

All the maps related to Blazebeard are seasonal, this includes the shop with the Pirate class. It should get released at the start of TLaPD.

Curious, does anybody know where naval commander with full party + full luck, ranks up in terms of the top DPS classes like VHL, lightcaster, UOK or legion doomknight (old or new), etc?

Not counting SS or shaman because those scale forever and CDK because it does obvious CDK things.

I feel like naval commander could probably be a good top contender against VHL and lightcaster for top DPS. After seeing a video of naval commander in a party with an SC + lightcaster.

Also I ranked up pirate again, it's actually decent now I remember it being a bit lackluster for me but it feels a lot better probably due to level cap and higher spiral carve.

Naval Commander was never really a good soloer. At level 65, it capped out around 1000 DPS with a full party. It's probably a fair bit better since you should be able to loop Commander's Rally now, but I still highly doubt it can get above 2000 DPS at level 85. On the other hand, it's got great AoE DPS, but it's also got a not-so-great mana regen model. Flintlock Barrage reduces enemy Haste and actually makes you gain less MP.

How much HP does a boss need to have for LightCaster to outpace other top soloers... more specifically vhl due to lightcaster stacks.. Like it's easy to figure out how many stacks it'll take for LC to get a higher DPS but it takes longer for it to actually outspeed the times..
because the DPS of LDK seems below both pretty much at all times... and UOK seems really dependent on mana for the consistent strive to keep it up.

Also the 2nd stack bug only applies to damage right? Or can I can more crit chance and dodge and so on... on that bug.

Also chrono assassin's dodge doesn't feel right... it's 91% with full stacks with full thief but it doesn't feel right as horc seemed to dodge more even when it was below 90%...

Second stack applies to everything besides skills that base their damage off other skills (e.g., ArchPaladin's Sacred Magic: Eden). It's a bit hard to test, unfortunately, since most stats are RNG-based, but you should be able to test this on Scarlet Sorceress's HoT (the green number above your player head, which seems to represent the HoT prior to damage reductions). Outside of that, I guess if you had the time for it you could test it on hit chance debuffs like EI's Ancient Wraps, or use a stopwatch for haste (de)buffs like GB's Fists of Frost.

As for CA's evasion, I took it out for a spin in the test server. Turns out that Shift buffs your Haste and Dodge chance by 20%, but it doesn't stack. Convert still works as per the description. Welp. Incidentally, Horc Evader seems to get 10% more evasion from Shadowblade, but that doesn't stack either. Keep in mind that this is the testing server, so stuff might not necessarily reflect the actual live servers, but I've never seen any class inconsistencies between the two servers. Assuming that this is 100% accurate, HE would have 18% more evasion (10% Shadowblade, 30% Smell Fear, 10% passive) from skills than CA (20% Shift, 12% passive). Guess I'll poke Arklen about these classes.

Ok because both horc and CA would be basically unhittable with their dodge if they stacked like they should, including the bug. Atleast on normal servers...
Full Thief Lvl 85 = 39.02 base, 39.02 + (CA has a 12% dodge passive, a 8% skill that stacks to 5, so 40, plus another 8 if bug, = 48+12+39.02=99.02, which is what really made me ask those 2 questions unless my math is just horrid. horc would be 39.02+10+30(40 if bug) + 15, so its 65+39.02 which is over 100, so I'm thinking something must be off as horc feels actually way over CA.

Wait the bug only works on testing servers or on normal? or both?

GT and horc would be gods, and CA would be like a >lvl65 GT survival wise... None of it really added up...
I always felt shift felt weird as it definitely seemed like haste maxed out but dodge felt weird.
CA feels like it has 80% tops.. It's supposed to be 3% less than horc...even at lvl 65 it was 86% and 89% between the two... not counting the bug... even without the bug, if the lvl cap gets raised another 20 lvls before the testing servers get in, horc will be over 100, if not 99 and a decimal...

My LC (with level 65 Depths cape despite being level 85), VHL, and SWOT took the same number of seconds to finish off the Onyx Lava Dragon, but my LC easily beat my VHL against the higher HP Ultra Vordred only to be absolutely crushed by SWOT.
