@Rafiq von den Vielen Come on, is it King Splurt?

EDIT: Also, when the riddle is solved do you mind giving a full explanation of your riddle? I thought it was well-made and interesting.

EDIT 2: @docblade Have I answered Sir Malifact before to your first riddle? If I have, I'll keep thinking if it's not correct.

No, it's not the King. :P

but sure, if it's not solved by the end of this page I'll end it and add an explanation of my thoughts.

EDIT
@Steel_King: No, sorry.

@Rafiq Is it the Sneevil Boxer?

The last part of the riddle is what I can't make sense of. Is there anything in game that has to do with singing and is somehow related to sneevils?

As a matter of fact, my first hint was mentioning that my riddle is referring an outside source. This is especially the reason why I added the singing line... okay, if anyone has a clue what this means, this riddle is solved in the next hour.

EDIT
UDmK: Not the Dumpsite. Neither the Vultragon. >.>;

According to your hints, and Aura Knight's help, I'm guessing it's something about the Sneevil Dumpsite.

EDIT: I'll be back, unless somebody, maybe Aura Knight, beats your riddle.

Can't be The Vultragon. Can it? >.>

I'll also guess Sneevil-Box Lord even though I can't find any reasoning behind this.

Actually, this is all incorrect. I think I'm going to solve/explain the riddle now and then go to sleep (it's 1:30 am my timezone, lol).

Here's the riddle again:
quote:

An entrance I seek,
one of many, yet not meek.
My enemy distant, in number large,
yet clumsy when in they do barge.
Here I wait, easily forgotten,
my origin rendering me downtrodden.
Once upon a time, I may have sung,
this one, I hope, has your bell rung.

Here's my hint - turned into a secondary riddle I guess:
quote:

"The beginnings of the game, you mounted a tree
Before which I now stand and wait for thee
Inexistent, my profession in this world becomes
Come to think of it - it would be one of the lesser harms"

Now then... the solution would have been Traviata.

Let's break the riddle down on request (thanks, UDmK).
quote:

An entrance I seek,
one of many, yet not meek.

Traviata can be found near the Sneevil Box Fort. Her dialogue says something about waiting to enter said fort. And to call the Rose meek would with all due respect be a blatant lie.

quote:

My enemy distant, in number large,
yet clumsy when in they do barge.

Sneevils are inside the box fort, and a decently common critter as far as I'm aware. However, have you ever seen a Sneevil doing actually intelligent things other than barging in and yell MOAR BOXES?

quote:

Here I wait, easily forgotten,
my origin rendering me downtrodden.

Who even remembers Traviata to exist? The 'origin' part however begins to reference an outside source - after all Traviata shares her name with an opera by Giuseppe Verdi, whose main character happens to be a courtesan. A job that doesn't necessary put you into the brightest light, if you understand.

quote:

Once upon a time, I may have sung,
this one, I hope, has your bell rung.

This was another nod at the opera. If any player had known of this, I believe the dots had been connectable, but this riddle tormented people for 5 pages so I'll end your suffering here.

quote:

"The beginnings of the game, you mounted a tree
Before which I now stand and wait for thee

The Sneevil Box Fort, clearly, and where Traviata can be found. She waits either for an entrance, or a chance to prey on unsuspecting Sneevils coming outside. At least I see it that way.

quote:

Inexistent, my profession in this world becomes
Come to think of it - it would be one of the lesser harms"

More opera nods. And let's be perfectly honest, as much trouble as a courtesan can cause, what significance does it hold in a magical world?

Thank you and goodnight.

@Umdk Nope, Sir Malifact is wrong. And far, far away
@v wrong, wrong wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, aaaaand wrong. Please, wild guesses are useless. Its all in the riddle guys and gals. I gave you everything that you need to beat me.

EDIT: Galanoths Spear is wrong too. The correct answer for the riddle is an npc, not a weapon

docblade: Baron Valatrith? Frydaye? MS? Circe? Doom weapons? draKonan? Davey? Kathool?

quote:

docblades other riddle
A treasure, more than valuable
But is not in a chest.
You can hide it in a sack
but needs a room to rest.
I send you out to get it
The goals, you finished all
You can fight with my weapon or
you hang it on a wall.
For itself it looks beautiful
almost a piece of art
bit it looks way much better if
you have the counterpart

Is this one Galanoth's spear?

And I wasn't guessing randomly. They were the antagonists I could think of who fit the criteria for your other riddle.

Nobody seems to have tried my riddle yet so I'll repost it here. It's quite simple.

(Solved by GammaCavy)
quote:

When someone approaches, they see a message
Yet no one knows there is a presence
When no one speaks, you hear a voice
It is there, where it is solid and moist
among the people, a blind one tries to reach out to a listener
Only to know more sorrow, and becomes grateful in the end

@docblade The weapon itself doesn't have to be like an axe, does it?

Ultimate doom, I did try your riddle, but the only thing I could think of was Ghost and you shot me down.
Give us one hint please? Is the blind one truly blind, or metaphorically blind?

Ok, I'll give you a hint.
You cannot see the invisible and the invisible cannot see you.
Yet somehow the being knows you are here.
The place with the stench of death, is the place where only one kind lives left
This one is repsonsible for it, they tried their best
Even though they failed, you bring peace and hope to them

@docblade Ok, since I'm most of the time trying to remember instead of checking I have to make another guess to your first riddle. Is it Yix?

@Rafiq von den Vielen I gave away too much, didn't I? Well, as close as it is it is still.... wroooooooong.

@UDMK No, its not an axe. And Yix is wrong too

EDIT: Repost of both of my riddles

A treasure, more than valuable
But is not in a chest.
You can hide it in a sack
but needs a room to rest.
I send you out to get it
The goals, you finished all
You can fight with my weapon or
you hang it on a wall.
For itself it looks beautiful
almost a piece of art
bit it looks way much better if
you have the counterpart

(Solved by GammaCavy)
After all you have been through
and if you take the first
i give you what you wanted though
and go to sate my thirst
for power. but then, after all
the truth i just will tell
and friends will turn, the leader fall,
and you will send to hell

docblade, is the first one the dragon? He needs somewhere to sleep, and we had to do all the quests to get him....
And I think your second one is Okuchi no Okami, the enemy of the Shadow of the wind, who we can sell out to, only to be betrayed in turn.

Ultimate doom, I'm thinking one of the gate watchers in True Mortal's quests? Amnet Ptah, who guards a tomb?

@^Your guess for the first is wrong, but the second one is correct

Next one
Some say i have a special taste
But i do think its bad to waste
the thinks you have; but i was bad
wanted to get rid of that brat.
Now she is dead, and i am too
I love you, schmookey pookie-poo.

(an easy one, i know. But i cant think of something better right now)

Yaay, I finally solved another of docblade the Riddle Master's riddles!
Ultimate doom: Illumina? Or Sir Malifact?

And i have few for everyone now:

(solved by Greyor)
You've thrown yourself into your work
To snatch the stars from out the night
The hardest task you do not shirk
If in the end your goal 's in sight.

(solved by docblade)
There we sheltered as ages passed, guarded by one forgotten
with iron fists and poison breath
while slowly the land grew rotten.
The monstrous thief did move unseen,
and stole our secrets well.
But out of night-time came a one who'd take back all he'd sell.

@GammaCavy Illumina is correct, nicely done!

EDIT: Your first riddle sounds a lot like the SMUDD.

EDIT 2: @docblade Is it possibly an npc from Hero's Heart Day? Or Mogloween? For your first riddle, the one about treasure and counterpart?

EDIT 3: Not Secundus either, I suppose?

@GammaCavy Is it Z(add)?

EDIT: Guys, I came up with a hint that might help solve docblade's riddle about treasure and counterpart:

What can you fight with AND hang on the wall? It is probably an item which either requires two pieces to be complete or it is the opposite of something.
And you might get this item from an npc, keep in mind that the npc is the answer but the item might become a clue to solve the riddle.
